Hidden gem in the middle of the city for enjoying the hummingbirds
beautiful walk and so many humming birds were out
Beautiful garden and structure on top of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. There are chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the shade and views
Great place to get gifts or good plants in a pinch but the WORST location when it comes to parking. Most of the time I come here to shop, their tiny lot is full and I end up driving elsewhere anyways.
Beautiful garden with a variety of Japanese plants well manicured
Rolling Greens disappoints on all fronts with exorbitantly priced products, a limited selection, and abysmal customer service. Their prices are unjustifiably high for the quality and variety they offer, making every purchase feel like a rip-off. The lack of selection makes it difficult to find what you need, and when issues arise, the customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere

One other disappointing thing I noticed was one of their products had a made-in China sticker on only one pot and you could see where they had removed it on all the others that seems very deceitful
Beautifully set up! The selection is great, I wanted to buy everything! The staff was all smiles and very helpful which I really appreciated. Look forward to coming in for all my future plant needs.
Looks beautiful from afar - what a shame that it is closed to the public and only open for special events (at least it was when we asked in Jan 2024).
Lovely exhibits on display. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Saw a painting the length of a room being painted and stood in silent peace for the first time in ages. 10/10, take more detours. A beautiful escape from the city.
This garden gives you an opportunity to explore the space outside the curves the building has. It creates a unique experience full of light, shadows, shades, and reflection. It makes you feel you are near water, splashing against the curves of the building.

There is also an outside amphitheatre that has lots of shade and would be a great place to host an activity or private event.

I highly recommend you visiting the Walt Disney concert Hall and tour the building to explore one of the most iconic buildings in the world, especially if you like art, theater and architecture.
This little oasis is so beautiful. It was so nice walking through here and just relaxing. Highly recommend listening to Orbital- Halcyon and on and on as you walk through.
It has been called "one of the city's best-kept secrets". Includes a 7.5-acre rose garden, with 15,793 rose bushes. The garden was an attraction for the 1932 Olympics. It is currently among the three major public display rose gardens in Southern California and one of the most important in the state.
Beautiful little garden area that provides great habitat for dove, squirrels, hummingbirds and a variety of other critters! Beautiful trail and area to walk.
Beautiful pieces of art. A wonderland of color and glass.
It's nice you can go to the Rose park or the museums it really doesn't matter. I just go for the walking and taking in the Sun...
This garden it’s so beautiful, have this in the middle of LA it’s so cool. The roses they have are so beautiful and and they are very well cared. The fountain it’s so beautiful, you can spend the afternoon there, bring some snacks or have a picnic, you can see all the museums that are around. It’s very peaceful

Really good
🎫Free admission
🚇Right across the street from USC Metro (Expo Park)
Roses are pretty, no scent unfortunately.
Not my go-to, only passed by on my way to the Science Center.
Well cared for large rose garden with a wide variety of species. The grounds themselves make a great place to take photos and or relax.

The center of the garden has a large fountain to branch out from and explore. There are several gazebos on the grounds that provide shade for sitting and well smelling the roses.

Don't pick the plants :#
Don't miss this charming garden! If you enter from La Brea, there is a trail that will take you to this nook. Picturesque spot for hummingbird spotting.
There were different types of birds there.
Very much colourful in summer . Different colours of roses with full bloom is the most incredible things to see. Only be aware of snatching outside of the park.
This is a gorgeous rose 🌹 it’s located in between the natural history museum, and the California Science Center. I recommend coming and just walk barefoot amongst the beautiful roses and their bright colors. You can come with your friends, family or by yourself to meditate take a nap, have a picnic or just to breathe. It’s free to come.
Small park with hummingbirds and feeders. I saw many hummingbirds during my short visit today!
Nice little oasis in the city. Not very big but this little garden can give you your moment of Zen in an otherwise busy and crazy city. It was a nice stop on my way into Little Tokyo.
Beautiful garden that is sure to inspire you to try out your green thumb when you get home. The fragrance from the orange blossom trees was intoxicating, and the few exhibits you can smell and touch are great!

A really nice garden right behind the walt disney concert hall.

Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby areas.

Nice place to have a lunch break or just to sit and enjoy.
Many humming birds!

Just outside the doors of the Natural History Museum is the Edible Garden, a small area for growing herbs, fruits and vegetables for the public to see.
I wish I had this kind of garden in my backyard, tho realize from walking thru, that that’s lot’s of work!
I haven’t seen it before, so it must be a work in progress. The effort to get this garden going and growing is good, tho the impression after leaving the museum is not quite up to par, yet. Descriptive labeling is missing, haphazard and not always clear.
The concept is fascinating, since I don’t usually see the food I eat before it gets to the grocery store. Though we still have lots of orange trees growing around Orange County!

This is a hidden oasis tucked in away behind the concert hall, the Blue Ribbon Garden is a nice getaway from the concrete jungle of LA.
This is a nice and peaceful area that would be suitable to read a book or enjoy a coffee. It is lovely that the area is free to enter for all to enjoy.
Gates were closed when we arrived at 4:30pm. I'm not sure if or when they are open to the public. You still can see the small garden from above though. And the plaza is nice too with some shady places to sit.

A nice quiet shaded spot at the back of the concert hall. Can get busy on weekends or during events.
There are really hummingbirds everywhere! And the view is excellent.

A well-kept and beautiful gem! The juxtaposition of lush, vivacious vegetation and slick, curved metal panels is quite the visual spectacle.
I don't know who their stylists and buyers are but they are amazing. I absolutely love these stores. Good prices on plants and all kinds of inspiring design stuff. Great source of classy gifts too. Oh, and it had its own parking. ⭐
What a great place! I was shopping at a store nearby and stumbled on this store. So many healthy, amazing plants, pots and home decor. The prices are good, and the staff is helpful in picking out the right plant for your needs. I ended up buying some snake plants that look wonderful at my place. I think I found one of my favorite new plant stores.
05/14/2021 - Have a good time to tour at James Irvine Japanese Garden inside Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.

Enjoy serene beauty with the waterfall sounds, etc.
It’s a nice place with a lots of nice pots and plants. For me too many “ordinary” plants, but I got something with me from the store.
I love this place. They have some really nice plants and beautiful home decor. I always discover a new plant when I’m there. I like have how they almost always offer three sizes of each plant. So it is affordable/ easy to try your hand at plant care for different plant types. The staff is always really knowledgeable if you have questions on how to care for any plant. It closes early, like at 6pm so keep that in mind. The room behind the register with the orchids is my favorite part. It’s walking distance from the grove. It is along a little strip of cute shops and restaurants. Love this place it feels local / neighborhood vibes in the middle of a tourist heavy area. Perfect place to stroll and browse with a cup of coffee on a lazy Sunday ❤️

A cute little garden tucked behind the Walt Disney Concert Hall. A must see!
Lots of folks taking grad and wedding photos here as well as an Instagram model who must have taken the same shot 100 times.

This space outside the Concert Hall is very special. The lines and spaces create an intimate feeling and simultaneously a feeling of being small as the building climbs into the sky.

I’d highly recommend coming in the morning or evening for the best light which produces some amazing colors and shadows!
In terms of interior design and layout; this place is seriously gorgeous and very Instagram friendly. They have a great collection of plants, succulents and flowers - and amazing home goods, the latter is VERY expensive and over priced, but you’re paying for quality here. One can definitely go broke trying to furnish their apartment or home at this place, but their stuff really is beautiful!
Small garden is done well. I like the water features and nice walkway. It is a nice little sanctuary in the midst of the city.
Wonderful garden that you can enjoy for free and it is also a beautiful spot for pictures and to practice photography
