La sculpture-horloge de l’Esplanade, 1983 by Olga Zeldakova, Denis Matte

Olga Zeldakova died in Montreal in 2019. During her life, she was an architect, designer, and painter. We don't know her very well.
Does anyone have any info on her artistic life?

Ensemble pour les sans abri nous sommes présents pour donner des repas chaud. Très beau cite.
A beautiful little gem if you want some quiet time or if you like biking you can bike there, however, I remember it was more beautiful few years ago now it feels a little abandoned

The park itself is very nice, calm, and well maintained. It is a very nice place to visit, eat lunch or relax a bit for tourists or workers around the Montreal convention center.
The 4 stars come from the fact that the park/garden is placed next to a sort of Catholic mission for homeless people, which attracts a somewhat unpleasant, sometimes dangerous/violent crowd. Also many smokers and druggies...
This is a very beautiful and peaceful garden. I've come across some interesting wildlife such as large turtles, snakes, and a myriad of bird species.

Some areas are falling out of disrepair and seem abandoned - that said, hopefully the investment into the park will trickle down to this area and there'll be some improvements.

Overall, I recommend visiting this area albeit I love it because it doesn't get too many visitors.
It's a bit awkward getting there but it was so beautiful and tranquil it was totally worth it.

Was okay ! I guess I expected more from a casino's garden. There's a type of animal there, idk what they are.

A beautiful and calm park. A great place to relax.

BUT this 2022 summer, this place is infected by rats, i don't think it's dangerous because they do not jump on us but I mean it's surprising ... I hope the city will do something about it. I you check carefully you will see dozen of rats walking around. (that's why i gave a 4 stars, otherwise it's a 5/5)

This place is 420 friendly.

Mixed feelings about how this place represents how the garden once was. Years ago, this place was a jewel, almost a mini botanical paradise. Unfortunately, it has incrementally become abandoned. How sad that the city has not placed more funds to upkeep such a lovely gift off the beaten path behind the French pavillion (casino). I did manage to highlight a few Spring vignettes for some colorful eye candy.

Beautiful garden to hang out with family 💚 This place has a long history from Expo 67. Some pavillons remain and now become a floral garden 🌺
