We visited in the morning. Parking lot is adjacent to the park and includes a couple electric vehicle chargers.
Park was beautiful. We have lived in Utah for a long while and were surprised we hadn’t heard of visited this place sooner. Grounds are well maintained. Lots of variety in the vegetation. Paved walking loop through the park. We enjoyed the different country sections and seeing the features and vegetation for each.
Immediately adjacent to the park is another park with a children’s playground and large pavilion.
This was a great family outing for us that we will be doing again.

Absolutely Stunning Gardens! They were in full bloom when we went on the 4th of July. Great place to walk around or ride bikes. Couldn’t believe it was free 😍 would be a great spot for family photos
The International Peace Gardens reside inside Jordan park on the west side. They are well kept and beautiful. This is a perfect photography location for engagements, bridals, graduation, or even dance. And it’s free.
My only disappointment was there are NO bathrooms inside the gardens. We had to run out of the gardens and all the way to the east side of Jordan Park. Out by the road and the skate park. I was surprised that they didn’t have any restrooms near any of the pavilions either. Plan accordingly.

I loved this place! It was such a great experience. We went in the evening to avoid most of the heat. The grounds are nice and shaded. The gardens were filled with families but were peaceful and quiet. It is a lovely place to walk around, we could have spent hours there! A lot of professional pictures were being taken (a great idea because it is so beautiful). The best part is it’s free!
This is a hidden gem in Salt Lake valley. If you want a peaceful stroll through flowers, trees & ornamental bushes check it out.
A beautiful park to take walks in and to enjoy a beautiful day with family and friends for a picnic. I’ve come here many times over the years and am really impressed with the upkeep. The flowers are beautiful. The different country arrangements are impressive. You should pay a visit.
Very pretty building, nice surrounding park area
The gardens are located within Jordan Park. It doesn't look like there are really much by way of organic garden landscaping. It's an interesting place to stroll through and look at some simple structures with markers and details on signage. It looks like it could use some pairs but overall the park is clean. We went in March so there wasn't much in bloom other than for forsythia bushes and the beginnings of cherry blossoms. You can do the whole gardens in about half an hour to 45 minutes. Germany, Italy, and Japan are all located next to each other. Don't know if that was intentional but it was a little ironic. Or maybe it was a demonstration of how these places have changed since their Axis days. Or maybe it was just coincidence.
Neat place! We're looking forward to coming back in the spring with things are blooming.
If you're not of the faith, the sculptures are a little bizarre but it's still very fascinating. A lot of work and dedication was put into this (and continues to be put into it, with the garden) and even if one isn't a member of the church I think you can still have a sense of wonder at the amount of time someone put into this and the vision and inspiration he had.

Super cute hidden spot for a quick walk. Fun sculptures to see and photograph. Curious for sure. Kids loved it.
You can spend about 1 -2 hours in the Gilgal Sculpture Garden.
One can appreciate the sculptures only if you have sufficient time to appreciate the details of each of the art.
The writings on the stones also need time to go through each one of them.
There are photo exhibits as well.
I was particularly amazed to see the way the sculpture of the holy books is carved. It is too good to be believed.
Overall it was a satisfactory experience.

Great secluded garden. Great place to relax after hiking Ensign peak.
Great for a short walk enjoying scupltures and garden (it's not a big park you can go around like in 45 min )
Really unusual & unique park. Can definitely say I've never seen anything quite like it.
We loved the grounds. So beautiful and well kept. Great place to take pictures with all the beautiful flowers.
Cute little park. Nice paths. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Maybe a tad run down, but it was a nice way to spend a little time this afternoon.
Place was really nice, so much to see... Really cute for a picnic and a walk. Make sure to bring water on a hot day. Just wish the little areas were filled with water under little bridges but all the water areas were emptied our.
Lovely garden! Pollinators abundant! We went in the middle of the day when it was very hot, but we found a bench in some shade. It would be so lovely in the evening.

Beautiful and well maintained!! The grounds are full of fun colors and culture.
It's right off the Jordan River Parkway, so it's nice to get to if you want to stroll that way also!
The neighborhood isn't the safest. Lock your car and take important belongings with you, but it's not so bad that it would deter me from visiting.

This garden is amazing! It's so peaceful and fun to walk from country to country. We spend probably about an hour there, walking around, stretching, and seeing plants we've never seen before! Really cool

After browsing the website, we really lacked hope with what the gardens had to offer. The website leaves lots to be desired.
The garden has a wide variety of countries represented. Each has a pretty significantly different display from a small plaque up to bridges and maps.
There were some displays that clearly were missing pieces, names and displays were either taken or removed which was disappointing, but apart from that it was very well taken care of.
Hoping to return every time we are in the salt lake area. A must see when visiting town!

Good place for a Saturday afternoon picnic
The website for International Peace Gardens does it no justice. I almost didn’t go to the garden because the website photos were so terrible. But I figured it was free so why not. Once I got there I was shocked at how beautiful and well maintained everything was. Other than a couple pieces of trash from jerks, everything was immaculate!!! All the countries featured had there own theme they went with. They were all for adorable!!! The walk is very peaceful. Everywhere you look there’s something different. Theres not one full area. I had the best most relaxing time there!!! Definitely recommend this garden as a must see!!!

If you are looking for an interesting park to visit while in Salt Lake City Gilgal is it! I had been here before and there were homeless people sleeping and a mess in there. This time around the landscape looks amazing! It looks like they really have been taking care of this park. We enjoyed walking around and reading all about the interesting sculptures, seeing butterflies, and all the beautiful flowers!

Cute little side park near Ensign Peak. Great place to come meditate away from the hiking crowd. The vines are interesting and you could swing on them but I would advise against it.

Ensign Peak Memorial Garden Park is a little secluded park with lots of shade. This is a great place to stop and take a rest after hiking Ensign Peak. There are a lot of park benches to sit on and enjoy the break from the sun. There are lots of plaque to read if you are into history.
It was cool! I thought it would be larger. Definitely not the best place for dogs but we were lucky, there were not a lot of people when we went so our dog wasn't as crazy. Our daughter liked exploring a little and smelling the flowers. Just had to make sure she didn't climb on the rocks that were art. It is definitely a cool place to see which I had never known about. It is very peaceful and quiet.
It's looks like a nice little community garden but you have to sign up to use it and they lock up the gate to get in it.

Probably the first community garden started - not sure of course - in the area. Could be upgraded with raised beds. Liked their chickens.
Nice area with some seating right next to the peak. You can see the backyards of the neighboring homes, but cool historical stories surrounding the small garden. Very well maintained.
A wonderful place where beautiful work and minds meet! Take a chance when it's warm again outside and come help! Meet new people that want to make the world a better place...we could all use a little bit of that in our lives!

I was thoroughly impressed with this garden and the volunteer efforts that the University of Utah has donated to make it successful.
Veritas community garden
Very nice community garden. People were very friendly.
Absolutely beautiful space. Organic food is produced by student employees and volunteers. It is then sold to the campus farmer's market, restaurants on campus, and donated to the campus food pantry. Stop by to volunteer, and you might walk home with free produce. Always a joy to visit.

A community garden ran by Wasatch Community Gardens. You have to get on a waiting list to get a plot, but I'd you do the garden is a great place to grow your own food.
