Great little eatery. We traveled from Melbourne and the kids wanted pizza. The pizza had plenty of toppings, and the eye fillet steak on the hot plate was tender and full of flavour.

Pizza was absolutely lovely, nice and fresh. It was hard to save half for tomorrow!

We went to have dinner yesterday and Seriously I think I had the best pizza I’ve ever had in Australia, 100% recommended, I will be back with my girls totally. Portions were good and wine super cheap and amazing.

The pizza dough/base used to be very good matching the Italian one.

Now it’s so thin like a filo pastry. It doesn’t matter how many time I asked to do the base how they used to. They choose not to listen. I hope Roma Pizzeria takes on board this feedback. It’s been long long time coming.

Atmosphere, nice and homey. Quite cramped though.

Pizza: dough was very crispy and well cooked. Toppings were delicious. I got the mexicano and traded onion for pineapple- was good choice. Just very spicy so be careful. I wish there was packed more with toppings especially for that price.

Don't get medium or small, because large felt like a normal size.

1st time ordering here and this pizza shop did not disappoint. We ordered 3 large pizzas a garlic pizza, garlic bread and a fettuccine bosciola and a spaghetti bolognaise. Definitely fed our family of 8 with left overs. The pizzas tasted delicious and the pastas did not disappoint. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting good quality pizza in the area.

Had the Lamb Shawarma Plate. The Presentation & Taste was Fabulous. Really Good portion size. So,Value for money Is Outstanding !!

Based on the food (quality, value and authenticity) this place should be humming.

My partner and I have been here numerous times, the food always delivers, but the service, though friendly, can be perfunctory, and the restaurant has zero atmosphere.

Improvements - ambience, get rid of all the (falling-down) bad café branded signage (Solo, Coke etc) on the dirty windows.

Le Star is clearly already popular with the local Lebanese community, why not create a more authentic experience? - lighting (led table candles, pontoon lights etc), bamboo walls outside (to hide Nerang Streer), music, images etc - go to Thaitanic in Nerang if you want to see how to create a vibe without a lot of expense.

Menu - offer (rather than just list) mint tea, make it a signature and value-add. Introduce and promote a modest BYO charge - say, $5 per bottle. BYO is a bonus.

Offering beverages will also increase your average spend. Give tables tap water upon arrival - appears hospitable, generous & costs virtually nothing.

The menu is too big and difficult to navigate. Offer a $30 per head set menu. Veg & non-veg. Reduces wastage, increases average spend, turnover speed/service etc include a jug of free mint tea.

Fix these things, and I can assure you, you could triple your revenue within months, if not days.

The platter was absolutely delicious! It's not on the menu but there's a picture and costs $36. Was enough for 4 adults along with the pitta and hummus and cheese pasties. Don't judge this place by its cover. It might not look inviting but the food is like being at my Lebanese friends house with mamma cooking. Authentic, yummy and quality food

I had a wonderful luncheon with a group of friends. I had BBQ prawns with possibly the nicest garlic sauce/dip I have ever had.

Such delicious food at very reasonable prices! Authentic tasting and generous servings.

Everything is seasoned really well.

I love that they use chicken breast, much healthier and still juicy. We are now regulars!

Tonight we had a takeaway Super Supreme Pizza and a Polo Fettuccine. Pizza was chock full of toppings and very tasty; top notch pizza with loads of flavour. The Polo Fettuccine was packed full of flavour; the chicken and mushroom flavour was big and bold and nicely carried in a rich creamy sauce; the pasta was cooked to perfection.
It's a pity we are only visiting the area ... otherwise this place would definitely be a regular place to eat.

No joke - this is the best pizza I think I have ever had. Even better than my local back in Sydney. Crust and base were perfect, toppings plentiful without being greasy, full of flavour. These are not your fancy gourmet pizzas where you get a leaf of rocket and a ball of mozzarella on top. These are real pizzas. I’ll be getting again when back in the GC for sure.

That place surprised us. From the outside it looks like a normal take away joint but the food is restaurant quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Only little critique: is the flair, bit more Lebanese decoration would be great.

A truly hidden gem in Southport, Queensland. This Lebanese restaurant blew us out of the water with their quality and quantity of food. The restaurant could use some interior design to attract more customers but when we decided to give this place a try, it hit all the notes we were looking for. Staff was super friendly and helpful. In the time we were seated there and enjoying our meal, we witnessed her help many other customers and even rearrange the seating to better accommodate some families. Lovely atmosphere and very homey feel. Highly recommend this place. Their food was delicious, and the portions were very very generous. Would definitely come here again.
