This is a place to go go go go!! It is full of positive energy. You see people coming from all over the world to worship La Virgen de Fátima. The Sanctuary of Fátima is as astonishing church. The 3 children that saw the Virgin are buried in this church. It is a beautiful story full of love and devotion. Definitely a place to visit and stay a few hours. I will definitely come back to this place.
Visiting the Sanctuary Our Lady of Fatima during World Youth Day 2023 was an unforgettable experience. The beauty and serenity of the Mass touched my soul, and hearing the “Our Father” and other liturgical prayers spoken in numerous languages was profoundly moving. It was a poignant reminder of the true universality of the Catholic Church, uniting people from all corners of the world. The architecture, the atmosphere, and the shared sense of faith created an inspiring and deeply connecting experience. Whether a person of faith or simply a lover of history and culture, this Basilica is a must-visit.
This an iconic spot at Fatima. I enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere here. It was very busy when I visited here. The popularity was evident during my visit, as the place buzzed with activity. The convenience of having all amenities in proximity to the Basicilia. Notably, the Basicilia added to the allure with its remarkable architecture, leaving a strong impression. I would visit this place in the future. An uplifting experience overall.
This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on Earth and the message of Our Lady here is very serious.... it is very easy 12ks spiritual Grace's here too, so do not see you coming here and coming to our lady who wants to take you straight to Jesus..... Jesus is awaiting us here in any Tabernacles 24-hour adoration chapel to come and give him a little bit of love and company, and he is waiting for you also at your local Catholic Church. God bless you all. Being you I felt like I was in a train and I said to Our Lord, pinch me my Love, before I wake up.... ✝️
A must visit pilgrimage spot. It’s vast, beautiful and gives you peace. This is a very renowned Church where mother Mary is believed to be appeared. The place is 100km from Lisbon and should be in the list to visit if you are in Portugal. The entry is free and there is no crowd on all days.
We went in as Sunday mass was in progress. And even though there were hundreds of people there, it felt very peaceful and calming. It was very touching to watch many people walking on their knees to the sanctuary and people lighting candles. Also saw the piece of Berlin wall.

Outside of that it has become a tourist spot. I guess it is hard to avoid that when so many people visit it.
Huge grounds within the premises that can accommodate thousands of worshippers. Went on a weekday which was not crowded and impressed by how vast this place is. Agree with another reviewer that it's a religious tourist trap with tens of souvenir shops lined up outside the grounds to pitch the tourist dollars. Restrooms are readily available!
One of the most peaceful, universal, spiritual places on earth. Very good atmosphere, well organized, good facilities, nonetheless, be patient and calm when visiting it. There is always something going on in the shrine.
