Excellent customer service at the Parramatta store, Sherie is an asset to the company and helped me organise everything I needed for my first serious hike in no time. I originally went just to pick up some shoes as I thought I needed a lot more time to organise everything else - Sherie offered to have a look at my equipment list and organised everything for me in no time. So friendly, so helpful and I will definitely be back again!!
V good customer service, the detailed information given by the staff were best! I was looking for a whole gear towards my next mountain trip and was fully worth it.
Cheers 🍻
Excellent and quality collection of jackets. Located in Level 2 of Westfield Parramatta, opposite of Myer. Kathmandu's key product lines are Apparel and Equipment including: Rain Jackets, Down Jackets, Thermals, Fleece, Shirts and Pants, Merino Apparel, Footwear & Socks, Packs and Bags, Sleeping Bags, Tents, Travel Accessories and Campaign Accessories.
Very helpful and friendly staff! They do everything they can to assist me and my mum even though it’s near their closing time!
Very good service! Keep up the good work guys!
Best for hiking gear, winter clothing. I often find the staff really friendly helpful as the products concerned sometimes require a technically sound decision before choosing. Prices are slightly higher but there are sales now and then to make a wise decision. Some of the worthy stuff includes raincoats, windcoats, hiking shoes, light-weight fleece jackets, UV range, trek pants
Bought a jacket. Very nice quality.
One of the female staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

One female staff might need to be more mindful of their customers. The jacket that I bought would fit in
nicely in a bigger bag but gave me smaller one. I didn't notice it until after I paid. I said I'll pay for the price difference but the staff didn't look like she was happy about it. Just a note for improvement.
My partner and I have visited this shop a few times and felt that the staff aren't particularly trained in handling busy periods. We can understand the pressure this can bring but basic customer service skills is still expected. In our experience specifically, we were asking about stock availability in either this or other stores. Which was not taken well.
I went into the store looking for hiking shoes. They had a large selection, the sales asistant was very helpful and told me about each type, and the advantsges of difent type ad style's. I tried on several types until I founds that felt the best, the let me try each type on for quite a wile as I walked about in the store to see how they felt. Then I got one pair. I have been trying them out and they are just what I needed.
The wide choise and very helpful staff who new about there products made it a very good experience.
