Conveniently located just next to the train station, the Block House is a place that specialises in steaks. Naturally, the steaks are the star of the place, and they are perfectly done to your preferred wellness. At medium rare, the Hereford ribeye was succulent and melted in your mouth. Many of the steaks also come with a healthy portion of salad. Service was friendly and polite, while the place had a warm and cosy feel. The place has a English menu, and the servers can converse fluently in English.
The food, service and ambiance were amazing. Our server, Elma, was friendly and even gave my son a token. Although my son is a picky eater, he loved his beef nuggets. This is the best restaurant we visited in Stuttgart.

A typical Block House branch. Easy access (outside the Hauptbahnhof metro station). As always with Block House and most other steak houses in Germany, the grilling is always a bit on the heavy side (the medium rare T-bone I ordered was once more a clear medium). The meats used are mainstream fare (nothing exquisite), so the prices are also kept at reasonable levels. Several good wine options by the glass. Decent option for a meat crave, but not more.
I came here for a quick and easy bite, had the steak special offer. The steak was just right with a portion of fries, coleslaw and bread. Good size, nice service. Good location for the shopping district.
Yes, they're probably right with claiming they're the best steakhouse in Stuttgart.
I went for a quick bite, and although it is not cheap, it was money well spent. Amazing steak (fillet mignon), nice salad, good service. Can definitely recommend the place!

The burgers aren't really served as burgers, although quite delicious , but the patty is served with a piece of yummy garlic bread. With a side of your choice, loved the baked potato with sour cream. A little too pricey though.
We tried the sirloin platter - steak, french fries and coleslaw sauce; the Mrs Rumpsteak - steak, boiled potato and garden salad and the green potato - grilled vegetables, boiled potato, sour cream. The vegetables were fresh and seasoned well. We had asked for the meat to be well done but it had a bitter aftertaste.
Service is good, the place was quite full on a Sunday late afternoon. The pricing is a bit on the higher side.

Cool place, decent looking menu, but I'll certainly not be back. The service is absolutely terrible, even for Germany. It's absolutely embarrassing, in my opinion. These types of establishments continuously fail to realize how much more revenue they could make with just a bit more staff. Sorry to see such potential wasted.
Food was alright, but service was excruciatingly slow. At these prices, please hire more staff as befitting the location.
The food was really good. The atmosphere is nice. Service staff was a bit dry, not very friendly, maybe just tired!
We eat here every time we stay in Downtown Stuttgart and we are never disappointed.
We went twice while staying at Le Méridien and one visit was so drastic over the other that I have to review twice. Our first visit was 5* - as the food was perfectly cooked and amazing. The cut of meat was so tender, seasoned, and just devine. The wine we ordered came in what looked like a Gin bottle - we really enjoyed it. The only downside to this visit is the cost. Holy crap this place is expensive!!

They recommended the Flank steak sous vide instead. Super disappointed. This was nothing compared to our first visit. Chewy, not great seasoning. Ugh. This visit maybe 1-2* at most. As others have said, Le Meridien is out of the main restaurant area. Therefore it should provide a good internal option. Unfortunately I cannot say this is a success. I visited on a Tuesday night - 2 service staff absolutely run off their feet. I would rate service lower but felt sorry that management put them in this position. Food was OK. Service and overall feel was "rushed bistro" style. Prices are high for what you get. I would not return.

Don’t get me wrong the food was excellent and the Chateaubriand perfectly cooked and the sides were fantastic as well especially the mash potatoes with bacon but 3 things…
First of all you could warm up the plates prior to serving as meat comes cold otherwise.
Second, the price €165 is abusive. I’ve eaten in many steakhouses and I’ve never paid such price. Even in the steakhouse in Zermatt (Switzerland) where the chateaubriand is €120.
Third, and that’s probably the most annoying stuff. You’ve asked us many times if we wanted wine. You’ve insisted and insisted again every 10 to 20min on it. The wine list was so small. If you insist that much you should have at least a great worldwide selection with affordable prices and not put only the most expensive ones. Expensive doesn’t mean good.

I've had great meals from Marriott restaurants before, but the price was not worth it. I ordered the butchers special (400g entrecote) for around €70 and was disappointed with the quality of the steak. It was cooked to perfection, but very chewy and tough. It came with truffle Mac n cheese, which was good, and I added broccoli to the dinner. The service by the bartender was excellent and what is saving the review. They also only had dull/butter knives while I was there, no steak knives because they were away being sharpened. How does a steak restaurant not have steak knives? Would much rather visit a different steak restaurant in the area than return.

We enjoyed sitting outside, very cool location. Steak was great, chicken sandwich was delicious. We had to finish their sweet potato fries...they were so good!!! Fast service and the staff was very welcoming.

We arrived at noon for Having a few beers. We left 4 hours later completely waisted and happy. 1L beers are something to try for tourists like us. Every person we talked to was so nice we really enjoyed the moment. There is a surprise in the toilets also !

The waiter wasn't fluent in his serving but the restaurant manager Matija was so nice.
The restaurant is located in a nice and quiet area of Stuttgart and you can enjoy a good conversation with your opponent without the noisy ambience of a typical steakhouse.
The food was on point and I'd recommend you this place if you like to enjoy good meat in a nice and quiet venue.
If you just want a steak on the go without good service go somewhere else.

Nice service, they come at the table with just right frequency. We went there to watch the EM2021 game and it was nice, they had a screen in the beer garden, big enough to follow the game. The wine was very good actually (despite the place being famous for beer) and the food was also tasty!
Wasn't disappointed! Definitely the biggest Filet I have ever had, and it wasn't even the biggest available (I got the 350 gram, 500 was the biggest). Cooked as I asked (medium rare), but the beef definitely has a different flavor than US beef - I probably would have gone medium had I of known. Bread and creamed spinach were really good. They also have some specialty steak, like Kobe. Weather was bad, so sat inside, but if you can sit on the patio, do that. Great view of you do.
German Cuisine: restaurant/ bar near Feuersee train station, pond. Nice area near a cathedral church, Lots of outdoor seating and 10 minute walk to Rotebuhlstr. The restaurant is known as a steak house, however there are a few vegetarian options on the menu.
