Lunch with kids, we love the portion of the lunch set with so much rice. Also comes with side dish, salad and a miso soup. Price is fair, but the beef quality is a little disappointing, except the burger steak. Overall it was a good lunch in downtown
Overall, the food was good with the exception that the tomahawk had some parts that were not soft and it was really hard to chew them. If you love desserts like me order the mountain chocolate cake 100% worth it. I consider the service needs to improve in terms of friendliness.
Went here with a friend before seeing a movie and it was good! We got the rib eye and an omurice to share, and it was really filling. The food was delicious , however , I don’t think there has enough ventilation in the restaurant. When I left my jacket just smelt like meat for a few days. 😳
The service was friendly and relatively quick, with a relaxed atmosphere and good seats.

The food (8.5 out of 15)
4.5/5 for taste: tasted great! Rich flavor
for the meat, but weak on other stuff.
2/5 quantity: small portions of meat and
even smaller portion of vegetables
2/5 for price: very expensive.
Overall great lunch experience. The steak lunch set was amazing in value and taste. Omurice was a bit sweet but still enjoyable. And the lava cheese burger steak was fun to eat. We expected tasty food but the service was just top notch and exceeded our expectation. We will come back for sure to try other dishes.
Went here for a dinner with a friend on a Saturday, booked in advance expecting it to be busy, surprisingly it wasn't fully packed. The environment gives off a Korean bbq chicken house vibe, especially with the kpop playing in the background. We their "in the sunshine" and "lady in pink", which were their two most popular non alcoholic drinks. Really liked the tangy passion fruit taste in the sunshine drink. The omurice was on point, it's not the dramatic egg cutting you get, but the sauce, egg and rice is all around good. I had the 6oz American gold grade wagyu steak (the more burnt steam picture) which is decent. Wish they offered a Japanese wagyu steak option however. The other steak in the picture is a ribeye steak which starts at 10oz, so you get more for your buck. The most impressive thing was this corn dessert, it's mango pudding shaped like corn. I've never seen it done like this and it was also really good. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend their omurice, steaks and this corn pudding. Only drawback is that it's super duper loud but it's kind of expected in this type of restaurant and that they don't have Japanese wagyu 😢. *for those that want halal meat, the Australian wagyu is halal. Washrooms are clean and well kept. Staff are nice. Area is popping with restaurants, bars and clubs. Nearby parking garages got ample space.
Nice little place not too far from my hotel. We went on a Sunday with reservations. You order the type and size steak you want with a minimum size. We had the waygu and rib eye. You also select how you like it. We ordered medium rare. It was more rare than medium rare. Everything else is the same for every steak, vegetables, corn, onions, potatoes and sauce. Everything thing was very good. I didn't give it a five because of the potatoes. They were salty. Great place for a steak and a reasonable price
Really nice steakhouse. Food is not cheap but the quality is A1. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The steaks did not disappoint. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, ambience and quality of food! Our server seemed very passionate and knowledeable. There were endless wine selections. Steak was cut very thick and juicy. Highly recommend!😆
I went with a party of 10 on Saturday shortly before lunchtime. At the time we arrived it was still quiet and there were plenty of seats available. The place is well lit with table for solo diners and groups. Along the wall is a diagram of a cow with the various cuts of meats used for their dishes.

Orders can be placed with the server or through their QR Code (which I assume is preferred during busy hours). While their main menu has a wide arrangement of choices, I decided to go with their Burger Steak Set from their lunchtime menu that came with some side dishes, soup and salad. The salad was crisp and the soup was hearty. It took a bit of time but all the side dishes, soups and salads were served all together before the meat was brought over. They also provided a very generous serving of rice that in the end I was not able to finish. I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy and soft it was and the accompanying sauce was very delicious. It paired really well with the rice and onions that were layered below.

When we went one of us noticed there was a 10% off if paid with cash promo. At the time of payment we were told it was only 10% off if paid under one bill. We were able to gather enough to do this but it did take a bit of time to sort everything out.

I would definitely come by here again if I am in the area and looking for something hearty and filling.

Phenomenal food and great atmosphere. I believe our group was taken a little less seriously being in our early 20’s and dressed less elegantly for the night (even though our order was over $1,000). Still a good experience overall.
I went to Harbor 60 a number of years ago for a Christmas party with work and we had a really good time. The atmosphere was really nice and we were in the private room and the food was excellent.
I went back very recently just to share a dessert and a drink with a coworker. The dessert shown on the picture is the Baked Alaska For Two, which was delicious although super sweet. The flambe of the dessert which gives this darker color to the meringue was quite the show and really gave it a nice little touch. That was a $26 dessert, which for two is actually reasonable.

Now here's the reason why I'm not giving a five-star across the board for my experience. I had ordered a beer as I am a beer drinker myself. I ordered a Guinness which was your regular tall can, since they don't serve beer on tap. That regular can was $12 (gasp). The waitress brought the can and a cone shaped type of glass as shown in the picture, which I pointed out as not being the right type of glass for that beer. Now this might sound a little snobby but when you come to such an upscale place where the New York strip steak is at $102, you would expect the beer to be served in the proper type of glass (at least that was *my* expectation and I think that's reasonable). That's the reason why service only gets four stars out of five, even though our waitress was really helpful. To management: please get proper beer glasses, that would really help with the fact that you only serve beers in cans...

A great experience nonetheless I would recommend you try it out but do keep in mind that it will definitely be on the higher end of your budget.

Note: when I checked the website, a background upbeat music loaded right away and I was unable to turn it off except by closing the browser window... beware if you browse at work! :)

Came here with a couple of my friends during dinnertime on a Sunday. The restaurant was a bit small but all the tables were seated with people. One of my friends ordered the Mozzarella cheese sticks. We were surprised and quite disappointed with the portion of the Mozzarella cheese sticks compared to the amount of vegetables that was served. We all had high expectations for this appetizer because of the price. However, my friend did like the fact that the Mozzarella cheese sticks were filled with cheese. I ordered the Pesto (pasta). The texture of the pasta fitted to my taste as it wasn't overcooked or undercooked. However, the portion did not match the price. In comparison with other restaurants, I typically feel full after eating a plate of pasta but at this restaurant, I only felt partially full.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Had the fish and chips-delicious.

I recently dined at Valens Restaurant, and while the food was commendable, especially the lamb shank which I particularly enjoyed, our overall experience was marred by an unfortunate incident. Upon making our reservation over the phone, I specifically inquired if we could bring our own birthday cake to celebrate a special occasion with my friend. I was assured by a male voice that it would be fine. However, upon our arrival and presenting our cake, we were informed by our server that it was not permitted.

Thankfully, the server was kind enough to consult with the management on our behalf, but the response from the boss was incredibly disappointing. His demeanor was not only unprofessional but also confrontational, as he loudly reprimanded the server in our presence, making us feel quite uncomfortable. Despite us promptly putting the cake away upon learning of the misunderstanding, the boss continued to express his displeasure, unnecessarily prolonging the situation and impacting our departure.

I want to highlight that the server maintained a commendable level of professionalism and kindness throughout this ordeal, and it is clear that my critique is directed solely at the management's handling of the situation. This behavior significantly detracted from our dining experience and overshadowed what should have been a joyful birthday celebration. It's disheartening to leave a review like this, but I believe it's important for potential patrons to be aware of our experience.

Sunday date night was lovely! The food was great — no complaints there. The wagyu carpaccio was favourite of the night and 1000/10 would order again. The rib eye was perfectly cooked but the truffle butter just wasn’t truffling. The lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were wonderful and the portions were great! Complimentary valet parking and cost check were a plus.

The service was good but not absolutely amazing. The hostesses could be friendlier and less cold/uninterested but I’ve noticed this is a trend across most Toronto restaurants within this price range. We have had better service at STK, Blue Blood and Akira Back.

Overall, would come here again for the food but not until we try other restaurants in Toronto first.
Came in with a small group. The service was friendly. I had the raspberry beret and the shrimp and calamari appetizer.
Good size for an appetizer. It was crispy and flavorful.

Food was decent, nice affordable dinner date for $35 three-course prix fixe that they also have outside of Winterlicious. Cocktails were also good. Seems like they were understaffed when we went because it was only one server for the entire restaurant. Otherwise would still come back
Big portions and good flavours. Nice atmosphere and attentive servers. A bit pricy for lunch but that dis not stop the place from being mostly full. Make a reservation.
The food here is delicious, the portions are very generous. Lamb chop was fall off the bone. I recommend this restaurant and I will be back
Came here to try the Winterlicious fix price dinner menu and very glad we did.

The food portions were excellent and our party of 4 agreed that we would definitely be back.
Fire alarm... that was a big problem other than that it was a wonderful atmosphere. Good food good company wasn't impressed with the deep fried calamari and shrimp it was soggy and greasy. Our charcuterie board was delightful will definitely order that again! My company had fish and chips and macaroni and cheese it was OK

Great food and great service. Free coat check and valet service was nice addition.

Food pricing is a bit steep but it is a high end Toronto restaurant so I get it. Cocktail pricing is absolutely criminal with no cocktail cheaper than $30.

Good atmosphere but music a touch loud to have a conversation with your party but didnt take away from the evening

I have been before and Ill be back.
We ate here with our friends for a birthday celebration. The food was top quality. We were heading to a Leaf's game and they were quick to accommodate our time restraint.

In a word: overrated. Went here to celebrate a family members birthday and ordered steak, fries, and lobster mac and cheese as the mains. The steak was extremely dry and the lobster was too fishy, but the fries had a nice crisp. The only redeeming factor of this restaurant is their desserts, which stun both in appearance and in taste. The build-your-own-s’mores kit was fun to use and tasted incredible, and the lava cake was the perfect temperature on the inside to mix well with the ice cream.

This restaurant is really out of touch, and the older patrons reflect this way of thinking. Very mediocre food but with downtown prices. Ordered veal scallopini and it was so tough I thought it was sliced pork. Vegetables on the side were uncooked and straight from a vegetable platter you'd get with ranch dip at a grocery stroe. Risotto was watery instead of creamy.

This restaurant has no right to charge 30+ for pasta or even exist on King West (maybe a suburb strip mall plaza would be a more fitting locale) when so many other better, innovative restaurants are just down the steet, but I guess they are kept afloat by long term customers who don't know any better.

Service was kind, but lethargic, 2 stars because at least it didn't give me food poisoning, and cocktails were better than expected - much more palatable than the food.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is outstanding! The value might be the best in the city! The carrot ginger soup and mushrooms were delicious, and the rack of lamb was amazing. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere here.
At Miller Tavern, the Caesar salad served as a delightful prelude, with crisp freshness and a well-balanced dressing. The main course of fish and chips surpassed expectations, offering a harmonious blend of crispy batter and tender fish. The dining experience was elevated by the inviting ambiance and attentive service, making it a memorable culinary venture.

Mario went above and beyond our expectations as our server. My friend and I ordered a Romaine Caesar salad to share. He came out with two already portioned out salad as our appetizer, which was unexpected and we appreciate his thoughtfulness.

We ordered the spicy shrimp linguine as well as the linguine with mixed seafood. It was great portion and lots of seafood, the tastes was great and the pasta was al dente.

Everything was perfect for lunch, thank you for a great meal and service!
1. I chose the dish based on the photo from Google; they were joking with me and said “See, it is same with the photo )
2. It is a delicious food;
3. Very kind waiters; they provide a half cup of cider for free since they don't have enough;
4. A few guests on our side ordered a lot of dishes. I believe they like the foot also. : )

Service was very professional and quick. Never waited for anything. The food was good, a great meal, but not outstanding for what I consider somewhat expensive. I had the Shrimp and Rapini linguine and my friend had veal scallops one. Atmosphere was very nice, I’d say romantic. Felt quite formal.

Biagio was fantastic in every aspect. The food was just phenomenal. I especially liked the tiramisu. I was there with a private party, so obviously the atmosphere was great for me. But the overall service and ambiance of the restaurant was certainly in it’s on class.

Haven't been here in years and the interior has changed so much however food is still delicious. Came for a pre-show dinner as it's so close to the theater. Enjoyed our meal as well as some post-dinner drinks. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Will come back again.
Food was delicious, a little on the salty side but overall very enjoyable. I would go back. Service was amazing and servers were very attentive. Ambiance was lacking, very quiet with no music or background noise.
From the bread to the dessert, hands down to how they cook here in Italian perfection. Come hungry, and you will leave full, you never have to think about the portions or serving size, because they’re big on taste and flavours. And her. You have no less that Señor Biagio overseeing the service, you’re sure to get the feeling and comfort of being served in an Italian home.

Came here for an early dinner during a trip to Toronto. We made a reservation for 5p, right at opening time, so we could make it to our walking tour on time. So glad we tried this restaurant! We were sat right away, the server was super attentive. We received complimentary bread (the good, crusty kind!) with butter and bruschetta! We tried three different entries and all were delicious! My favorite was the agnolotti hands down! The sauce was creamy and flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly! The chicken Milanese was pretty good. The chicken was a little over cooked and tough but the sauce was tasty. The veggies were perfectly cooked, a little Al dente, just like I like. The fettuccine bolognese was delicious too. I am not a fan of veal but I honestly wouldn’t even know it wasn’t beef. The sauce was super flavorful and the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. Really loved the setting too. The design is muted but elegant. I would definitely give this a try if you’re in the area and want a nice meal out.

Nice spot on King, compared to a lot of places on King the food quality was great. They have good selection of seafood items on the menu so I'll be returning for some seafood again. All of the dishes were good and also desserts.

Our server was very attentive and friendly. Thank you 😊

Both steak and fish came with generous portion and the food was good. Steak tasted rich but was a bit below my expectations given the restaurant’s reputation and its price. Seafood was good. Mushroom had too much wine cooked into the taste so that it’s a bit too much. They don’t have Margarita in menu but they made one for me which was really nice.
Had a really great time. Service is quick and food was great.
Crispy seafood app was a little too oily for my taste.
Scallop ceviche is the best I've ever had.
Generous portions too!

Super good restaurant, the main dish was excellent, classic but a bit different, and the shrimps were buttery and a bit spicy. The wine served was delicious as well. Amazing service too, the servers were very courteous and helpful. I would definitely come back for sure! I only removed one star because the apetizers' prices were too high.

What a wonderful experience!! The food here was top notch, well presented and extremely tasty. Our server Roberto was friendly, chatty and gave us great food and wine recommendations. The restaurant itself had a bright airy atmosphere though it could use a little of an update. The washrooms are not connected to the restaurant and located in the basement in the building. It was very dimly lit and felt pretty sketch.

We had winterlicious lunch menu, which includes Veal and Calamari as main course. They are very fresh and tender. I like the atmosphere of the setting of the restaurant and we also were told how to pronounce the bill amount in Italy, quite impressive and friendly.

Was our first time at Biagio and found it a lovely experience - everything felt and smelled Italian.
Nice place in the heart of Downtown with a decent patio. The staff were very welcoming and helped us to order great set of dishes. The warm cheesecake cake was the rock star!!!

Visiting from Vancouver with my partner and came across La Fenice while exploring downtown, and it was meant to be - our server Kelly and the restaurant director Greg were so kind (and both from our hometown of Edmonton!) and the food was some of the best authentic Italian we’ve ever had.

The grilled shrimp is HIGHLY recommended, the linguine vongole with white wine sauce was delicious and generous with the clams and you know the pasta is good when there is so much flavor from simple ingredients with the linguine aglio e olio.

Thank you for an amazing dining experience and we will definitely be back next time we are in Toronto!

Celebrated New Years Eve Dinner and the food was exceptionally good. Service was top notch and I can appreciate the old school service of having experienced men serve us. Price point was worth all the good flavours in our dishes. It was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back to enjoy the other dishes.
