For my taste, the food is way over seasoned. However, I understand many people want it this way. They were slow seating us tonight. The manager introduced himself and had us order a couple appetizers on the house. Good customer service.
Yesterday many towns were out of power. Most restaurants had no power. Longhorn not only were very accommodating for 15 of us (business Christmas dinner) but were in very good spirits. They were VERY busy with families trying to get themselves dinner but were not turning away anyone. It was just nice to see.
45 minute wait, but went right in and sat at the bar. Bar tenders were prompt, attentive, and friendly. Food was great and the lunch menu pricing was easy on the wallet.
My family's experience was amazing we had an amazing waitress we were in the section behind the hostess stand in the 6 chair table.
I can't remember her name but she was amazing!
Now there was one waitress I won't soon forget she brought our food to our table her name was Megan she completely rude if we get her as a waitress we would rather leave.

Our bartender was nice and served us quickly. Drinks were well made. Steak came out perfectly cooked and was juicy. Prices were reasonable. Busy place, 35 minute wait for a table but was able to get a seat at the bar as soon as we came in. Was happy with the experience.
Longhorns has always been a top five on our list for our family to go and eat and have a good time with great service. Yummy food and good drinks. You can't go wrong. One of my favorites is the parmesan crusted chicken. The big portion and then I can have leftovers for lunch the next day. So good! 🙂
Arrived for 6pm with a party of 9. Was told it would be 30 minutes. Finally was sat at 7pm. Clearly they don't accommodate larger parties comfortably. Small table with chairs pulled up to a booth. Had we known it would have been a hour to be sat, we could have requested to split the party into two booths. Service was relatively prompt. Macy was our waitress. Food was good, ordered the 12oz ribeye. Others had burgers, chicken and ribs. No complaints on the food.
My husband and I REALLY enjoyed our supper Oct 9/2023 at Texas Road House, Bangor. Due to Covid we hadn’t been in Bangor in 4 years. The rolls they started us with are the best and the steak meal was delicious. What made our time there fantastic and special was our waitress “Sammy”! She is so sweet and absolutely amazing and such a wonderful personality. She looked after us from the beginning til we left. A big thank you goes to Sammy and they are lucky to have her!!
They were less busy than usual. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was nice. The food was great and came out super quick! The staff were nice. I highly recommend it! Five stars!
Wow. The steak was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Definitely a spot to have a great steak dinner!
If I could give a 10 star I would! Our server (looks like Chief Stew from Below The Deck) was incredible!! The pictures speak for themselves. She made the experience top notch! They let me decorate ahead of time.
It was an average Texas Roadhouse, the food was not as good as usual. One out of the three meals were great. The others not so much. However!!! The service was amazing. Quincy was the best waiter/server I’ve ever met. Love the guy he is so spectacular! Would come back just for him and the service ever again! Thank you, Sir!

I brought my daughter to Kobe's for dine-in to celebrate her birthday... and our server Rayanne and the whole team made her feel extra special.
My daughter had the Tokyo Monster, while I had a Pork Katsu-Don Donburi Dinner. What I love most about this place is how the meals not only taste amazing, they are also beautiful, like works of art.
After thoroughly enjoying our meals, Rayanne surprised with a complimentary ice cream dessert! When my daughter told her with wide eyes how she liked cherries, it touched my heart to see how many of them they lavished on top of her red-bean ice cream bowl.
The only thing I would recommend: bring a small flashlight with you. The ambience allowed us to relax and just talk... but it was too dark for me to see the menu.
Kobe's of Bangor has earned the title as my daughter's favorite restaurant of all. We hope you will check it out.

Overall experience was just ok, I had higher expectations based on looking at their websites, but let's just say they must have had a great marketing budget. The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was awesome, but I found the food was disappointing, especially for taking a fillet mignon as I found there was not much taste. In my opinion, if the sides (pilaf rice and broccoli) were better than the fillet. They don't have any sauce, the only option is A1, and there is no Pepercorn sauce. The flame grilled corn sounded amazing, but there really wasn't much taste.
Overall, would I make it a priority to go? No, but if someone would go and ask me to join them, I would. In my opinion, you're better off going to Texas Roadhouse if you're looking for better taste.

We made a last-minute decision and called, and they were able to get us in, but I would definitely recommend reserving in advance. I loved that they ask you as you enter if you want to select your meat, this is an awesome addon as you can select what you like. Overall, the bread was excellent, and the butter is delicious and has a taste of cinnamon. Their fillet mignon was amazing, and even asking them to make it well done, it was tender and flavourful. Their rice is good, but I found it has a bit of a corn taste to it, and the vegetables are great. Eliza, our waitress was by far the nicest and by far the best waitress we had at any restaurant. She was talkative and laughing with us, which made it more of a fun experience, and the price was excellent compared to down home in NB, Canada. If we ever come back to Maine, this will be a must stop, and we will definitely be asking for Eliza as our server next time we come as she's awesome.
This place is just amazing. I grew up going to Makotos in Florida. Since then, the Chefs are more interactive. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is traditional, and you get share laughts and excitement at the hibachi tables.

First time trying Kobe today for lunch. Won't be the last. Very nice atmosphere, clean restaurant. Convenient location near the mall. We ordered hot and cold sake while we perused the extensive menu. The restaurant is divided into the hibachi area and the regular restaurant. We decided to order a few rolls after eating our salad (crunchy with plenty of ginger dressing) and miso soup. We shared the Manhattan roll and Incredible roll and both were beautifully presented and delicious. We'll definitely go back. There were so many rolls to choose from, not to mention several Thai dishes, hand rolls, and sashimi. Everything was fresh and so yummy! So happy that we finally tried Kobe. Highly recommend.
Updated 7/10: another great lunch. I'm convinced this is the best sushi in the Bangor area. We enjoyed a Manhattan, Alaskan Beauty, Crazy Ninja, and Incredible rolls. All excellent.

It was a short walk from my hotel so it was very nice that the food was amazing!
The service and wait staff all 5 stars. Very quick and friendly..
Ended up ordering The famous platter of garlic sauce beef..seevice with fried rice, came with miso soup and salad.with ginger dressing.
Also ordered shrimp tempura for appetizers .
The cocktails came out nice and strong
Highly recommend if you are in the area or the from the area..

The food was great, the cook was engaging and funny. The waitress did good although I asked for a mildly spiced cocktail that was so spicy I couldn't drink it. I asked if she had told the bartender that I wanted it not real spicy and she just said yes and dismissed the fact that I said it was really hot! Another guest on our party that likes spicy food traded drinks with me and he couldn't drink it either.
All in all the food and service were good but when ordering a $12 cocktail and $90 of food between 2 people, it should have been corrected.
