Too SWEET- I got the brown sugar milk tea with 30% sweetness and it was overwhelming sweet, finally when all the ice melted, it tasted much better. Do not get true brown sugar drink but the regular milk tea with cheese foam on top is a must try.

Great onigiri for the price! And love that there are veggie options (plain with salt, enoki mushroom, and takana greens). The enoki was our favorite!

Received damaged box with coffee, did my review here, owner called and was very angry about my review. I removed negative review and owner said that he processed my refund.
12 days and no refund. Terrible company, DO NOT ORDER from them. I lost my money it okay but BE AWARE!!! THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL ..

Owner emailed me and said because I did Google review he will not do anything. But 12 days ago he sent me refund notification on ny email. All it means he lied to me and no refund was processed.

I stopped by this morning to pick up a couple of hot beverages and pastries.
1. The menu is vague.
2. No pricing for anything except one weird specialty drink.
3. High prices; small cups; lukewarm drinks
4. There’s a reason pricing for pastries are not listed…
5. Paid full price for stale pastries.
6. Service was meh; I was the only one ordering at the time. felt like I disrupted a lot of nothing with service.
7. I miss Starbucks (ex Target) as I would’ve saved 1/3 and received, well you know, better everything.

I gave our neighborhood coffee shop a chance and felt like I was robbed of time, money, and even the tip I gave before I experienced what will be easily forgettable.

Peach oolong milk tea was interesting. The tea flavor is different from anything I had before. But boba could be more tender.
Overall quite good but not worth the price ($7.06 + tip)

We ordered the mango pudding, they call it pinko-nut. It comes in a glass jar with a lid that is really nice and reusable. A really good portion and delicious dessert.

For the price, the stuff here is awesome. I got two onigiri for $7 - both of which were stuffed a great amount with filling. Rice was also very fluffy and tasty.

We tried a special drink "Wired Gandhi" which is the chai latte with expresso shot. It was interestingly good. It was a bit too sweet to my taste but the expresso shot absolutely play a part to balance the sweetness out. I love the factory vibe and yet relaxing atmosphere of this coffee place. Would love to come back to try other coffee drinks as well.

All the gear but no idea. Barista hasn’t been trained to make proper coffee or maybe just doesn’t care. Latte was watery and didn’t taste great. Good location and friendly service.

OK… it’s coffee. The guys were super relaxed with a tourist like me. The medium blend from the drip canisters was excellent! Actually wished I had gone for the dark..

Solid caffe latte with just the right combination of espresso notes, milk and crema. I love places that roast their own beans and enjoyed viewing the roaster on site while breathing in the rich aromas of roasted coffee beans. Service was average though the barista did share he was a highly satisfied regular patron before taking the job. That’s always a good sign. What makes this establishment special is a secluded courtyard in the back that allows one to bask in the sun while enjoying private space - right in the heart of busy, industrial SoMa district. Chart a course to Sextant and your sails will be filled.

Small mochi stand inside of japantown. I liked the fruit mochi here, nice flavors and excellent mochi quality and very reasonable pricing! Not a fan of the soy dango however, fruit flavors were exceptional.

Wow wow wow. My friends and I came here in the evening for some late night coffee. We were floored with how rude and stand-offish the staff were to my partner and I when he was confused about the menu and how to order. We ended up leaving without our order because they made us deeply uncomfortable. If you look at the other reviews, you might notice that all the lower ratings say similar things. If you’re queer, neurodivergent, or just looking for a more welcoming environment, stay far far far away from this place.

A bit uncoordinated, but decent coffee. Seems like early in the morning is not the best time for everyone. The menu wasn't completely updated (lots of items were shown to be out of stock when they weren't) and the pourover was missing!

Got a drip coffee though, and it was ok. A bit void of flavour minus a sharp acidity. Hopefully the beans I bought will be better.

Absolutely the worst boba drink I’ve ever gotten! The place is really cute and my friend was the one who told me to check it out and try. What I really wanted was not available so I had to get something else to try. I got the grape drink and my daughter got a smoothie. Both were disgusting! I lessened the sugar level on the grape and it was still full of sugar! Let’s say I got sick drinking it afterwards bc of how sweet it was. My daughter ended up throwing hers away and got boba at a different place!

Limited menu, but the vanilla latte was the highlight of my morning everyday! It was the perfect drinking temperature right away and I thought the price was reasonable at $5.75. Very convenient for anyone staying at the Axiom Hotel.

This place has an extensive menu of drinks and pastries (bars were the highlight). Everything is super good-looking and causes lots of indecisiveness! My iced mocha was very tasty, I couldn't complain if I tried. The pumpkin bar had good textures, was well-balanced, and actually pumpkiny instead of just sweet. I'm happy with this spot, and I'd come back to feed my curiosity on how good everything else is. There's no seating inside, but there's a couple of tables outdoors. The owners were super nice, too. I could see myself being a regular here if I lived in the area.

Wish more places sold traditional Japanese (correct me if I'm wrong) streetfood like this. Props to the staff and owner for keeping this place going.
I had the matcha mochi. Cool, chewy, but a bit too sweet. I like that the fillings were different but the sweetness overpowered the flavor of the matcha.
Order was prompt; tables were filled which suggests tables are regularly cleaned by staff.
Atmosphere: way too hot man. This mall needs AC or windows.
Japantown keeps the mall (and associated bathrooms) clean.

Highly rated for a reason. Great coffee and great service. We really enjoyed the organic food options. Indoor space is very nice with lots of room to sit and work. The patio outside is very nice as well.

Was in Japantown on a busy Sunday and had to stop by here since a friend of mine told me that they had some Onigiri's an Mitarashi Dango!

The Food: I went with a Spicy Salmon Onigiri and the Mitarashi Dango. The Onigiri was quite filling. It was bigger than what I'm used to getting in my area, which was quite nice. The salmon filling inside the Onigiri was plenty and flavorful. The Dango was good! However, I wish it was heated up when we got it. It was a little cold when I picked it up.

The Service: Orders will take a while if it's busy. I waited about 30-40 minutes for some onigiri's and dango. Staff members are friendly though. It's just the wait times that is frustrating.

The Atmosphere: Can be very crowded at times. There are some seats and tables for you to eat at, but not much since it's at an open court area.

Overall, a 4/5. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try. But only if you have the patience to wait about 30-40 minutes.

This might be one of my favorite boba places of all time. I had the peach oolong milk tea with agar and red bean boba and while it was definitely not cheap, it had amazing flavor and a generous portion size in a very cute bottle.

The red bean boba was so unique I even sucked one out to take a picture haha.
My bf got the pomegranate and chia seed tea and that was very good too, but I definitely liked mine more as a milk lover.

Great coffee shop — look for the blue awning! We buy a cafe au lait and a vanilla latte — fresh, warm, and delicious. Definitely would come back for crafted beverages. Also appreciated the pastry selection, which included a gluten-free lemon bar and macaroon cookies.

A surprisingly good spot for breakfast. They have very nice pastries and coffee drinks. And they will also cook up a variety of breakfast meals for you.

My favorite is the Peach Oolong.
They used authentic great quality tea.
It's my first time trying this one in Japantown, went to the Westfield ones quite often.
The decorations of this booth is so cute very Japanese.
Even though it's half an hour before my dinner reservation at BanSang, can't help to get myself a cup of Joe. Yummy Oolong, taste so good.

Solid coffee with great gluten free pastries!

I recently hosted an event and I bought a large container of coffee. Their service was super fast and they had it ready in 15 min.

They have a variety of Asian flavored desserts as well as the usually croissants and cookies. They also have a few gluten free options, I recommend the banana walnut cookie

This shop has been here for so many years! I always dropped by when I was still in high school.

According to the employee they changed hands 4 years ago, but looks like the new owner is doing a good job of keeping the old menu & authenticity of this place, also added some new items. Surprisingly the prices haven't changed much!

The onigiri was freshly made (rice was warm when they gave it to me); the mango mochi I ordered had nice texture but was too sweet. I'd definitely go for more traditional flavor like matcha next time.

Kissako Tea is a great spot for a light snack!

In the plaza, it is a great spot to try out different kinds of small bites. I had eaten some pastries from Jina Bakes, and grabbed a matcha drink at Cafe Maiko.

Ordered the spam and umeshiso onigiri. Rice is served hot. You definitely need to eat this ASAP so the seaweed doesn't get soggy.

Staff is friendly. Street parking along the block.

This place hands down has to be the coffee Mecca for all of Bay Area if not Cali! I haven’t seen a more authentic coffee shop - they had fresh coffee beans getting roasted. You will be spoilt for flavors in any kinda coffee that you may want! If you’re starting to get into making coffee at home - do visit this place!

We got the pumpkin spiced latte and the Nutella latte - both were perfect drinks to give us a mid day pick me up nudge on a windy day in SF!

I loved the balance flavors of coffee in this place. Coffee is perfectly creamy with right amount of bitterness. Tried their latte, cappuccino and mushroom croissant. Loved them all.
If you are in the neighborhood, you need to try this place for sure!

I've been visiting the Japan Center mall since I was in high school, I've never failed to visit this shop. It is a part of every trip because I love their small plate offerings! I've gotten to try so many different onigiri thanks to their reasonable prices and fair portions (and well distributed fillings!)

This last trip included a new (to me) flavor as well; umeshiso. It is essentially a sour plum jam with mint. The rice is still salted, so it has a surprisingly well balanced profile of sweet, salty, sour, and fragrant. The sour note hits hard, but as you get accustomed to each bite, you notice the sweetness come through more. Balanced with the salt of the rice, the mint's fragrant flavor elevates the whole thing further. Really enjoyed it!

If you prefer more standard flavors, they have an assortment of meats, a mushroom, and plain onigiri as well.

Do yourself a favor and try the different soda offerings as well! Pair them with a scoop of ice cream, you will be very glad you did.

Spotted this place while on a walk and I'm so glad we stopped by, such great service and coffee.

I got a mocha and it had the perfect balance of chocolate and coffee. The man behind the counter was very friendly and gave great recommendations for treats and drinks.

They have baked goods and a great assortment of coffee beans.

It's a small space once in the shop so a line was forming out on the sidewalk, and masks are a must.

Pinky and Christine are phenomenal bar tenders! They are charming and witty and deliver seamless service with the added bonus of the elegance of the building. Also Sephora is next door and is great to pitstop in for drinks. The happy hour menu is decent and they have mimosas in the morning. The Turnt chicken is so good. Go see the gals and treat them right. They're damn fine company

Should have read the actual reviews! Service is just horrible and fun is about the same! Dry toast, confused when people come in ? How strange... took over an hour to get the worst omelette and crunchy toast.

Nice rest stop near a tourist hotspot. Always loved the food here and they have decent alcohol too. Fun, funky seating with free WiFi and lots of places to charge your devices

I liked the chai latte, but everything else was awful. Very overpriced. Lasagna was the size of my palm and burger ordered medium came out burnt. Two stars for latte.

Very overpriced, but they have an area open to anyone with very comfortable seating. We had 3 hours to kill before we had to catch a bus home so we waited here and used the free wifi, and charging stations. The bathroom is downstairs and you have to ask the cafe employees for the key.

Very nice atmosphere with a wonderful staff. However, many of the menu items here are way overpriced, especially the beverages.
