This was a beautiful venue and a beautiful night with friends and family that traveled from all around the United States. As the bride, I worked with this venue for a little over a year to Make sure everything went accordingly. Over this year I worked with three different people due to the fact of employees leaving that should’ve been a red flag to me. However, we had already did our down payment and put so much time and effort into this venue.
The biggest thing I would suggest if you plan on working with this venue is to get everything in writing ESPECIALLY IN THE CONTRACT hire a lawyer and make sure it’s what you want addendums are highly recommended.

Example: we rented the open bar from 7 to 11 originally but then when we started going over budget, they told me we could do it from 7 to 10 with 10 PM being the last call which means people would get their drinks and could drink till about 1030 1045 but everyone had to be off the premises by 11 however we were getting kicked out by 10:10/10:15 when people were still getting their drinks. Super confused the night of MY WEDDING and when I brought awareness to this, she said your contract says till 10 no matter what her employee said was possible. It wasn’t in the contract. Apparently, their employees words mean nothing which is unfortunate. (Probably why they have high turnover)

A few other example that the manger says are “untrue” when she wasn’t present and we have 130 guest eye witnesses….

-Sound vendor they hired showed up didn’t test sound left speaker was partially blown in sound had to be messed with by my husband. And could only play music to a certain volume because of the blown speaker.
-They were in charge of staffing the bar according to the guest count that we had they had two bartenders. However, the bar was backed up the entire night, and the response was” If we knew your guest were such heavy drinkers, we would’ve staffed one more but normally we have two and things are fine”.
-set up was behind schedule with vendors they hired.
-they charged a furniture moving fee when I as the bride moved 99% of the furniture since the staff they had were not present arriving late.

We had a party here. Wish I could give zero stars We should have backed out after our first coordinator quit. They lost the contract. The new contract had higher prices and offered less. The new coordinator did not know any about pulling together a party. The day of the party let’s list a few details: party was to start at 7:00. Furniture wasn’t arranged so we had to do it at 6:00. The sound hook up person showed up and left without a sound check so the groom spent 2 hours trying to trouble shoot as guests were arriving. One of two of the bartenders “kinda” knew what she was doing but was very slow. ( I was a bartender..) 2nd bartender had to keep asking the slow bartender questions like what goes in a 7 & 7. Couldn’t hand more than one drink at a time. We rented the facility until 11 with the understanding bar closes at 10’and people would start leaving. We would be out by 11. At 10:05 there staff is running around yelling that everyone needs to leave NOW. That was so embarrassing. Upon cleanup they said anything beyond cups and small plates they weren’t cleaning up. They wouldn’t throw away any empty boxes from desserts we were allowed to bring in, any papers or left over throw away small trinkets that they were just throwing in the ground bc they wanted to fold up their tables. Hence expecting us to crawl on the ground in our formal clothes to pick up the items.
This was only a few details that were very unprofessional. We have owned businesses for over 40 years with banquet and food being a few. We wouldn’t have ever have done this to our clients. Yes we tried to go over these issue after the party but everything was put back in our face. You may contact me with further questions and I will be happy to give you my opinion. We just want to save you the aggregation we experienced for the past year in planning what was suppose to be a joyful celebration.

First floor is an Asian restaurant. The second floor is a coffee bar. The other floors you rent out office tables or space. You can even rent out a floor in the evening for an event such as a wedding. Has two outside decks. All in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg.

Just had our Christmas party on the 4th floor of Station House. It was a success! Shout-out to Vianka for all her help throughout the process and at the event, as well as Olympia Catering, for the food provided. Great blend of indoor/outdoor space for any event needed. Definitely recommend!

Station House in St. Pete is hands down the best coworking space in town. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with a vibrant and productive atmosphere that's perfect for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and remote workers.

What sets Station House apart, however, is their commitment to their community. Today's offer of free coffee and bagels for everyone was just one example of their dedication to creating a welcoming and collaborative environment. It's not just a place to work; it's a place to connect and network with like-minded individuals. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, making sure you have everything you need for a productive day. Whether you're seeking a quiet space to focus or a dynamic hub for networking, Station House in St. Pete has it all, making it the go-to coworking space in town that I can't recommend highly enough.

Best coworking place in St. Pete for me 👍

This coffee shop is the best! My coffee was outstanding! The espresso was so smooth and delicious!
The place over all is a place to go meet people or go work at. I would say the place is great to work in besides the factor that there is normally way too many people in it. There is an upstairs area that is extremely cool to go up to. You can also go to the balcony and overlook some of downtown saint pete. There isn’t much of food options but they provide a ton of beverages that are not extremely expensive. Over all- the service is good. If you want a place that’s convenient to work at, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. But if you don’t need a ton of room and don’t mind a bit of noise, this place is great.
Kava was good- REAL good. Nothing else was though. Awful service, seems like regulars and staff have their own clique going on. Had to wait a while to be helped. But when I was, I will say- the kava was amazing! That’s about the only redeeming value to this place.

I love working in the cafe here. The atmosphere is conducive to focusing as almost everyone there has their laptop with them. I even signed up for a membership so I can work on the upper floors.
The best drinks and prices around. Strong!! Good atmosphere, and people. Dog friendly, although i couldnt bring in my cassowary because of the deadly sharp talons. The tea tenders are all devishly handsome and or georgeous. The housing market in the tambay area is being secretly ran by sith lords, so when im down and out, in the nice artficial turn ill sleep.
We showed up for Drag Bingo, which is once a month on the first Thursday. It was so much fun, and the atmosphere was super comfortable. The host Ariana Sparkle was entertaining and had us laughing the whole time. Great prizes too!
My first time attending a drag bingo, and I felt so at home. This is the most LGBTQIA+ inclusive kava bar I’ve ever been to and I absolutely thoroughly enjoy spending my days here.

Food is good for the price point, and good place to study if not for the heat indoors.
Not my fave kava bar in town, but still good. Loved the atmosphere and overall vibes. Was my 1st time here and was unfamiliar with their menu so I played it safe and stuck to common items that most kava bars have. Only beef was I felt the wait time was a little long for what I got and no one checked in after serving me. Possibly bc they were busy? At any rate, it's still not bad and I can see myself coming back

My favorite office-away-from home as a remote worker! Grassroots offers a great environment with the downstairs feeling more social and upstairs tending to be more quiet. As predominantly a coffee drinker, this spot has a great selection of drinks. The staff (and regulars) are wonderful and friendly as well.

Pleasant coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the USF campus. I live nearby, but only visit occasionally since I'm usually headed downtown. If you're looking for a quiet spot to have coffee outside or inside, this is one of the best places south of downtown near the water. The atmosphere is less institutional than Kahwa in the student center, and less corporate than Starbucks in the Hilton. The outside seating is relaxing, unlike the coffee shop at the USF bookstore, which has only a few uncomfortable metal tables with attached chairs along busy 5th Ave S.

How is the coffee? I can only comment on the regular latte, which is very good. They also offer the obligatory sugary drinks masquerading as coffee that many Americans prefer.

Speaking of sugar, one quibble: The multigrain bread is sweet (as is often the case). I'd recommend choosing something else if you enjoy a savory sandwich such as the bacon, egg, spinach and tomato (BEST).

Occasionally there can be issues with smoke outside.

For dinner check out The Tavern next door. It has live music, and the grouper is great.

Great place for studying. Chill music, plenty of places to sit, wifi and all kinds of coffee, tea, kombucha, kratom, kava, cbd drinks and some cookies and muffins and snacks. The art work is rad and you can buy most of it! They are open late too!

Where do I begin? This place is the bomb dot com! Family owned, friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Not to mention that the food and drinks are delicious! I have never had a bad drink here. Their coffee and tea are both super good. If you go, you have to try the Lox bagel! As a self-proclaimed lox bagel enthusiast, I have tried so many and I can honestly say that the Grind’s is the best one in the area. Good eats, good sips, and good vibes.

I had my first experience at Campus Grind today and it did not disappoint. I ordered a muffin and the caramel apple latte. Both were delicious, served quickly, and priced reasonably. The outdoor seating is just the right amount of sunshine to study and enjoy a beverage. Such a delight, I can’t wait to return and try all the lattes on the menu!

Gabby is a great manager and standout employee at this location, her attentivness and work ethic are notably one of the major draws. Additionally, all the bartenders at Steep are top notch, remembering regular's orders and preferences with ease. The atmosphere is very chill, one of my favorite places to remote work from.

I've also enjoyed the friendly sober atmosphere and have gotten to know friendly locals thanks to easy to have casual conversations with strangers here. I'd highly recommend Steep to those looking for a nice spot to relax, hangout and even work/study.

I also forgot to mention, they have regular entrainment, trivia, yoga, DJ, food truck, etc...

“Good vibes only” super chill place. My boyfriend and I enjoy every weekend at the Speakeasy in Central Ave playing some chess and drinking some herbal teas , they kratom is the best in town. Gaby is super friendly and always welcome us with a big smile. You have to try the turmeric latte is out of this world. Definitely a friendly environment.
Great spot!! I celebrated Pride this year during an alcohol-free diet. We were bar hopping on Central and I saw there was a local kava place!

My friend and I walked over and Speakeasy Central Kava Bar had my name written all over it!!! They had so many great canned and bottled options- from Perrier and Vita Coco to Liquid Death and Coconut water and a variety of kombuchas. They also had a snack display with Clif bars, nuts, and other assorted vegan and allergy friendly treats.

I ordered a kava 70-30 to-go (that the other bars were friendly enough to let me bring in) and a Living Vitalitea Paradise Passion kombucha for later- my friend got a Liquid Death water.

Customer service was excellent, no wait, and I loved the decor.

When you are good you don’t have to worry about being seen. You can stand in front of this place and not know what you are looking at. It’s protected with a garage door exterior and a canopy of trees to shade from the sun. It offers a variety of beverages and herbal cocktails that promote energy and happiness. It offers covered outdoor seating as well as bar and indoor seating. The prices are good and the service is welcoming. Parking can be tight but, surrounding areas offer short walk access.

Nice vibe and trendy deco. Definitely for younger clients. Drink selection is limited so as the baked good. It is considered downtown, so the price is considered high.

This co-work space is well decorated and very impressive at first glance. I was here on a day pass and found the working environment to be comfortable and the internet access acceptable. However they were a little under prepared for workers to be setup for a full day. they only had two desks available in a Phone friendly environment and only a single wall outlet to share between them. This put me in a bit of a bind as I needed to power two laptops. The space was clean and quiet and very well maintained for a building built in 1911. I will likely utilize this space again in the future.

Very happy with Grassroots. Internet didn’t work while we were there, but it’s a cool joint to knock out some work and have a nice coffee. Had the Cuban with milk and a cappuccino. Both were great. If you are always on the hunt for a coffee shop like me, you can’t go wrong here.
