Henry is a great trainer and the results I've seen have been amazing. I can't recommend him enough. A new program every 8 weeks and diet plan also. He is great to train with pushing you hard while still having fun.

Not a platinum offering. Dirty showers. Ancient and regularly broken gym equipment. What is working is one step from being in a state of disrepair. Perished seating material on machines, handles with broken plastic, poor fixes applied for those machine being ‘repaired’, pillows and gears on pin loaded machines have no smooth action. Management then put up the prices. This place is a disgrace. Just compare bond street in the city to this and you too will be shocked and disgusted.

I have been training for almost 12 months at this gym. When I first joined I provided feedback and Alex the club manager reached out and welcomed feedback and applied it. The staff always greet you with a smile, provide advice when needed on gym related questions, and always an knowledge you when you leave the gym. Although I train with max as my personal trainer 5 days a week all other trainers make me feel valued and welcomed in the gym, and I have observed other members share the same feelings. I am happy to say that thanks to max and the fitness first platinum Kings Cross team I have been able to achieve all my fitness goals, always feel valued and welcome and Alex contantly seeks members feedback on how the gym can improve. Highly Reccomemd Fittness first Kings cross a gym 10/10.

I’ve been a member since this club opened. The location and space has always been a plus. During the years staff and management has been up and down. The current club manager Alex has taken a hands on approach which has changed the club dynamic. It’s a nice welcoming space with a great layout and friendly staff. I’d recommend joining.

Enough equipment at busy hours. Enough plates. Not so many people (not crowded at all). It is clean. And good wifi in the quite lobby to have a meeting or something like that.

I'm more sanguine than others and enjoy this gym. I like to get lost on the rowing machine for forty mins while overlooking Sydney with the afternoon sun coming in. The only problem I have is with other gym users who seem obsessed with their mobile phones and sit on equipment while lost to their podcasts or social media. Maybe the equipment is old but its not beyond its UBD and I find it useful as do the generally fit men and women around me.

Mark is not only a kind & compassionate person he is also one of the most knowledgeable trainers I’ve worked with. His extensive knowledge of anatomy and physical science helped me develop strength in my shoulder which was weak due to scoliosis. His sensible approach to training has enabled me to build whole body mobility & strength. I hope to work with Mark for many years to come

I’ve completed a couple of classes now and I can’t talk more highly of Barry’s Bootcamp in Kings Cross! All the trainers are super fit, extremely friendly and know their stuff! I was a little worried before coming here because I thought I may be out of my depth but during the workouts they give you different levels to run at (beginner, intermediate or advanced) and there are lots of weights to choose from. After a workout you can buy a healthy smoothie at the yummy fuel bar or freshen up in the facilities there which are extremely clean. You’ll also have a locker to put your belongs in which is secured. These are honestly the best HIIT/cardio workouts I’ve ever done! The music and vibes are amazing!

I'm living in Sydney temporarily due to reno at our Newcastle home. Prior to meeting Ivan I had got into a rut with fitness/ exercise due to Covid and two hip replacements and the necessary move out of home.
I had been a relatively fit and strong late 60 yr old before this.
I found Ivan to be a hard task master but thoroughly professional, polite and encouraging. I got so much out of the weeks I spent training with him - he doesn't take no for an answer! I didn't expect to be able to leg press 100kg by my last session-in fact did not believe Ivan a few weeks previously that it was achievable.
I had feared training as hard due to my hips, but now know that I can do heavier work without ill effect. I even got used to looking over Darlinghurst Road on the assisted pull up machine!
I really learnt a lot about myself through my work with Ivan too, so for that I am very grateful.I will always hear his voice - more STEPS! :)
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a trainer and wish him well in his training etc too

Took me three months to actually turn up to the "red room" at Barry's as an overweight menopausal 50 year old lol! Not sure why I waited so long, the whole team were and are absolutely amazing. Don't feel any pressure from all the fantastic people training there, this workout obviously works if everyone looks as great and are as fit as they all are, walk on the treadmill if you need to or interval jog, the training environment and team are absolutely fantastic and 50 minutes flys by! Sets me up so strong mentally for the day ahead in business. Thank you guys for making me feel so welcome! MB x

I was in Sydney for a few days from Melbourne and I have never been to a fitness first before. I purchase some casual passes for two days, and I loved the experience. Here it is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. It is very clean with great facilities like weightlifting equipment showers, and they also offer you a towel.

Henry is a great trainer! He is super enthusiastic and motivating. He helped set some really clear goals, came up with a plan and nutrition guide. We smashed the goals and I've never felt stronger. Went for a trial. Some trainers are exceptional, others unprofessional and disinterested in the classes. I was surprised despite speaking to a couple of the trainers none of them had the ability to sign up me up as a member... I have since become a member elsewhere and had a far more professional, enjoyable and more welcoming experience.

I had the pleasure of discovering Henry and his training methods at Virgin Gym where he worked as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach.
I had been doing weight training for about a year and a half before I met Henry , so was still fairly new to weights and although I had been working through a program set for me be a previous PT , I was becoming a little bored with the training regime and I felt that I had plateaued with my development. I also had some historical shoulder weakness issues which in spite of the exercises I was doing were not really improving.
I took on a twelve week program with Henry and what a joy it was to work with him. Henry instantly developed a good rapport with me and developed a program that addressed my objectives and areas that needed improvement, such as shoulder strength and mobility.
I trained twice a week under Henry and I would have to say that working under his guidance showed me the right way to train. The sessions were intense and always challenging but fun and rewarding at the same time.
Henry’s endless enthusiasm and positive encouragement throughout the workouts always made the sessions something to look forward to.

Henry is an amazing trainer who makes you feel very comfortable. Exercise with him is a fun and every time he puts an effort to get the maximum from me. I appreciate his ability to change the exercise when it is not comfortable or is not provided in good way due to the body limitations. Rory is an honest and dedicated Personal Trainer. He checks in regularly and truly cares about his customers. Never has a bad day and makes training go so fast and fun.

I haven’t been to a gym or done any real exercise in 20 years so the idea to participate in one of their classes was absolutely terrifying and completely outside my comfort zone.
However, I am so glad I did.
From the moment you walk through the door, everyone makes you feel so welcome and helps you get started and excited about the idea.
The facilities are absolutely gorgeous and spotless.
The classes I have attended so far are very challenging, but the entire environment makes you push yourself much harder than you ever would.
You get so much done too. The 50 minutes you spend in the red room have you work out non stop. I have to admit, it’s all a bit overwhelming when you first walk into that room, the music pumping and the lights go down. By the time the class is over, you wonder where the time went, but your knees will be shaking and you’ll be soaked in sweat.
The instructors I have experienced so far were incredible and really keep the energy going. Despite the number of people in the class, you never feel disconnected and you have the feeling you have the instructors attention when needed. They are amazing at what they do.
The team thought Barry’s Kings Cross engages with you in a way that feels very genuine, and at no time do you feel like you are being sold any memberships or any pressure to sign up.
Also, be sure to order one of their delicious Shakes/Smoothies before your class. They are a great healthy reward to look forward to after class!

Exceptionally clean and well maintained facilities and equipment, and private exclusive training areas where you're not on top of other people training. The atmosphere is good. There's good gym etiquette evident (i.e. people put their weight back where they belong). The email reminders for sessions with the trainer and the portal are also excellent

I am been going to Savage squad gym for a whole year now and I am really happy with my fitness results. Staff members are really lovely and helpful correcting posture, giving tips and motivation. The gym members are nice too creating this unique fitness community in inner Sydney. Workouts are challenging but it’s easy to modify to fit people with different fitness levels.

I've been training with Hugo for over 1 and a half years and he has always kept me motivated, helped me with my strength (I was at level couch potato when I started, lol) and also helped me with a very bad shoulder through strengthening my back. Totally recommend him, he will also teach you how to count in Spanish! I love the gym where he is based now, so private and COVID Safe!

F45 Potts Point team are literally the best, they moved fast and provided great support online throughout COVID restrictions, holding ourselves accountable and creating the same sense of community we were used to In studio. Now we are back in studio and they have taken all the steps to meet all the safety standards. I am so glad with the results I have achieved so far and am looking forward to continue training with them and improving my body, health and mind! All the instructors are awesome and they will push you to your best in their own way, but I can’t go past Nicole Christey’s workouts, they are AMAZING!!! I recently started training at F45 in Potts Point and absolutely love it here. Tyler is an outstanding trainer who brings so much energy and motivation to his classes. One of my concerns about starting F45 was the group class environment meant people might not get the attention they need from the trainer to avoid injury. Tyler clearly has a thorough knowledge of the body and puts a big focus on maintaining correct form throughout the workout. I would highly recommended training here and would highly recommended trying one of Tyler's classes
