A little hidden from the main drag but quality people, food and beer. Walk the extra block.
Wish it had been warmer outside because the atmosphere inside is pretty sterile. They needed more than one bartender for how busy they were and people were left waiting a while for a drink. Tried two flights. Beers were ok, none we would probably get again. Will come back when weather is nicer to enjoy the music on the patio.
Just stopped by this winery and Thomas was amazing. Excellent knowledge about wines and interesting conversation in general. Highly recommend spending time at this winery and ask for Thomas.
The best experience with Ben tonight! He made the experience 10 x better and was so funny and knowledgeable at the same time. He really knew what he was talking about and really gave my step-mom and I a wonderful time. I hope he gets a raise soon- Amber Falls wine tasting was a 20/10 with Ben. Ben’s direction’s to get us back to our hotel was a 6/10. You can’t be great at everything but Ben was pretty close!

Stopped by for a girls weekend and had a wine tasting with Ismael. He was absolutely phenomenal! Great personality, knowledge! Fun and informative and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!
My husband and I were walking around the mall and found this wonderful gem of a winery. Ishmael was an amazing host and made the experience especially enjoyable. We ended up buying 8 bottles of wine and will definitely be going back.
definitely not worth it. A small space, a house that is not a mansion. Tasting in disposable glasses is minimal for the cheapest wines. It's not a tasting. And just a mini test. Even spending 75.00 dollars for three people, we were unable to access several areas. Detail is not winery. There are no visits to the barrels. You should learn from LAKERIDGE WINERY & VINEYARDS ( free tasting ) in Clermont! I do not recommend ! Feeling of losing money.
Recently attended a show at City Winery. The venue is great, the show was a blast, but I have never been to a more disorganized place. Never answered the phone or returned messages. Website re: food service is confusing at best. While there in person we were told sure you can order food and bring it in the venue. Tried to do so to be told no, you have to eat in the restaurant area. There was a breakfast buffet as the one option IN the venue. Eggs and wine just don’t do it! Passed on that and then saw other folks ordering food and bringing it in. A consistent policy that is explained in the website would be great.
I have grown quite fond of meaderies, so it only made sense to visit Nashville's first. The bartenders were just awesome and knowledgeable. The mead selection was great and spanned a vast profile of flavors. If your looking for an intimate chill spot with some flights of mead and jenga the. This is your spot.
I remember when I went to see the Bangles at the City Winery in Nashville! This is one of the best venues I have ever been to! And trust me I've been to hundreds of them during the last 30 years!

Very nice venue! Easy free parking. No wait to get in and greet hospitality. One thing we enjoyed most was the great atmosphere and acoustics of this place. We saw Matisyahu and his performance was amazing. We did have a few different small plates and they were all pretty good. We will definitely be back.
Catie helped us out today and provided amazing service. If you are in town for Nashville I definitely recommend making a stop in here. And the wine is great too !
We visited today and were totally disappointed. We paid $24.00 each for the wine tasting and grounds pass. During the wine tasting we were herded into a very small room where they had us 6 rows deep. We were handed a wine glass in which we received 4 one ounce pours of wines of their choosing. Only one of which I would have picked out of their selection of wines. The entire tasting lasted approximately 6 minutes at which time they collected the wine glasses and told us to explore the grounds. The website says they have a restaurant that isn't even open yet. They had very costly pre-made packages of charcuterie that were available but not what the website promised. We will not return and I would recommend everyone save your money.
Wonderful find in the Opry Mills Mall. Ben was our host and he was both funny and informative about their wines. We enjoyed 5 tastings for $10, and has many others have reported, we bought several bottles for home. My wife, who likes sweet and semi-sweet wines really enjoyed the Cottage Rose. Try the Cajunfest red wine for something different as well, it didn't disappoint!

Killer shows at City Winery tonight. Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar tribute group) and Springsteen Celebration (tribute group). Venue was great, food was excellent, bands good and both had great shows. I had grilled shrimp and wagyu flank steak. My son had the wagyu sliders. It was fantastic. Service was excellent as well. Loved the whole experience, I'll definitely be back.
Really great experience. Went with my love. and enjoyed the guided tour of the mansion, which was very informative and pretty interesting. The guide was friendly and funny which was a plus. The mansion is gorgeous! Truly loved the wine tasting and we bought 2 bottles! The grounds are just lovely and we enjoyed roaming and learning even more. Highly recommended...maybe not so much for little kids, as the tour is 45 minutes long and kind of restrictive for little ones.
I surprised my wife with a tour at Belle Meade. She absolutely loved it and was overwhelmed with the tour. We were able to take our time and walk the property. There were many opportunities for pictures. Our tour guide for the mansion was informative and at times very funny (which we loved). The property is also a winery so there was an opportunity to experience wine tasting. We purchased some chocolates and sat outside relaxing. We regret we didn't get to eat at the meat and three. There's always a next time!

The grounds are nice but it was a total reap off. We bought tickets for wine tasting for two $50 and barely got enough wine to get our tongues wet. We tasted only four wines and didn’t get a glass of wine of the favorite tasting as a complementary. Other wineries do provide a complimentary glass of wine as the favorite but not this place. The staff was quick to pour barely to taste and move people. The bottle of wine goes for $39, so it is way cheaper to get the bottle of wine. Avoid the wine tasting unless you wanna get reaped off!
Tried today for first time and it was amazing. The space is extremely inviting and bartender was extremely informative and easy to talk to. We were given a sample of original batch. We selected two seasonals that just started today, Spice Girls and Midnight Meow Meow. Wonderful first experience!!

Visited Belle Meade as a family with a small child. We enjoyed learning about the rich history of both the site and the state. It was wonderful to discover some kid-friendly activities, such as mini-golf and croquet, for when the history and walking got to be too much. All the food between the ice cream shop and the restaurant was delicious, but especially the ice cream and carrot cake. The only disappointment was discovering we paid a $25 premium to purchase a bottle of the Belle Meade Reserve Bourbon. After paying for admission, one would hope for a small discount, or at the very least, the same price as at the liquor store. My suggestion would be to skip buying it from here, and just get it when you get home.
We really enjoy seeing different historical sights. Wife picked this one out and I had no idea what to expect. Turns out this was an interesting tour, an opportunity to learn, a time to reflect with meaningful conversations during the tours. Do yourself a favor, do more than the basic tour and wine tasting. Definitely do those (awesome) but try another option too. Might be worth your time. We met very nice people working here and enjoyed talking with others on the tour. Very cool and interesting time. Beautiful grounds to wander around also.
If you want a nice evening out combined with great food and a great concert check out City Winery. There is no bad seat in the house and the staff are really friendly and helpful from finding your table to recommending drinks and menu items. Orders were promptly placed and hot food was delivered quickly along with cold drinks prior to the start of the show.
We went on a Saturday morning, there were plenty of people and tour groups but it was not overwhelming. I would recommend booking tours and events in advance so you can plan your visit well. We went on the mansion tour, walked around ourselves to see the places, and visited the winery/bought some wine & chocolates. I enjoyed the mansion tour- you're not allowed to take photos inside, only outside everywhere else. Our tour guide was sweet and very informative- gave us plenty of time to look around each room ourselves and gave plenty of historical background/context. There was a suprise free wine tasting (optional) after the tour which was fun and helped us decide to buy the blackberry wine. I loved the entire experience and would definitely go again or try more wines. The place is family friendly but I would only bring older kids not little children.
Chose to do the wine/bourbon and for experience. Maddi made this experience even better. The food was excellent and paired beautifully with the wine and bourbon. Made it taste even better. We had a great time and the venue room this particular tasting is in is breathtaking. Thanks yall for making my mom's birthday great.
We enjoyed touring the Belle Meade mansion and grounds. The tour of the mansion was very informative, and our tour guide seemed very knowledgeable of the property. We learned a lot about the history of the property and grounds. The included wine tasting was a bonus and was a great way to end the tour.
We were able to roam around the grounds and see the stables, winery, cabins, and other parts of the historic site. If you are in the area, I strongly encourage you to make a reservation and visit. They have free on-site parking which is a plus.

I can’t believe how amazing this wine tasting was! It was the PERFECT mid day spot for our bachelorette weekend! Bartender was great; staff was great & the wine was flowing!
Love this place! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on their wine! Did 5 wine tastings for 10 bucks and got convinced to purchase some for home!! Love there, peach wine it was one of my favorites I had to purchase to take home for the wife!! Nashville is a good place to come and explore with the family!I recommend this place for all the wine lovers!
I enjoyed my experience with City Winery!! The host immediately greeted us. He answered any questions I had and seated us promptly. The waitress was patient, friendly and explained the table protocol while the show is ongoing. Any issues we had she promptly remedied the issue or offered suggestions. Kindred The Family Soul were excellent! Food was just as excellent. I plan to attend another event soon!
Although this winery lacks the beautiful secluded views of many wineries, their prices and quality are top class. Service was super friendly and personal. Very impressed with the Autumn wines. Highly recommend a stop when visiting Brown County. Cheers 🥂
Camryn was awesome as a bartender. SO friendly and knowledgeable and really made us feel welcome. I have never had mead before so this was new but I will be back and would recommend the “secret garden “ out back! Very groovy
We had a great afternoon tasting wine with Catie! She was personable, knowledgeable and fun. I definitely stop in again at the Winery at the Market next time I'm in Nashville.
We did the plantation and mansion tours today ($45 combo). If you only choose one, do the mansion tour because you cannot enter the mansion otherwise but you can see the plantation grounds on your own and read the plaques scattered about. Casey was our tour guide and he was great. We were there 2.5 hours and had plenty of time to see everything, including wine tasting.
I attended the Barbie drag brunch. It was my first time attending an event at the winery. The show was fabulous and then some. Because of that. I will definitely attend a performance there again. I also plan to go for a wine tasting. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the food.
My wife and I stopped here on our way to Nashville recently and were very pleasantly surprised. We had the pleasure of being served by Zach, who was knowledgeable, attentive and super personable. He made our day! The wines we tried were very good, and the seating outside on the patio was pleasant, despite it being a very hot and muggy day. We were so glad we stopped in!
Venue was great, staff was friendly, wait staff was on top of everything. Amazing intimate show with a great performer Joey McIntyre was perfect. We drove from 25 miles west of Chattanooga to Nashville and we had an amazing time the Truffle Fries were so good.
What happens when you combine three of the best things in this world? Beer, Tacos and Jazz. Well, in the humble opinion of this chef, taco ambassador, certified Mexican, passionate about music and beer taster this place has become my quintessential happy place. But it's not just having a great product made with local ingredients and talent, that's not enough, customer service is exceptional. The guys at the bar are literally smiling the whole time and explaining their product to you, this is the only mead distillery in Nashville, possibly the entire state. The food is authentic (and I mean it) completely authentic Mexican cuisine (possibly the only 100% original) in the entire city. The service is THE plus of this comfortable place, you return because the food and the mead give you a smile to the soul. This place simply has the best trio (food, drink and music).
Nice place to get a cold beer in Nashville. Sometimes they also have live music. There is a food truck on site, we didn't try it but it smelled good. They have games you can play while you enjoy a beer. Nice place, will be back.
Absolutely incredible experience… the meads are exciting and not too sweet, their conservation awareness with their apiary is so crucial, the music/vibes/company/board game selection is PERFECT……. And they love dogs! It truly doesn’t get better than here
New start up buisiness in Nashville. Still working on the set up and interior. Sampled a couple beers and ordered 2 beers to sit outside and enjoy. Not all beers are on tap yet, so we bought a 4 pack of the Moisiac IPA that was not on tap. I am enjoying it now as I wright this review. Would definitely recommend stopping by, just keep in mind it is a work in progress and looks to have a bright future.

Back in March, my girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place by luck. We actually were planning to go to a different place for drinks, but it closed early. While walking around, we came across this winery. As we we’re looking at it, the staff greeted us and asked us if we wanted to enjoy a wine tasting with a charcuterie board that was prepaid for but they never showed up.

We enjoyed one of the family tours that Belle Meade offers - the tea time tour. As this was a new tour we were lucky enough to be the only ones on it! Kelsey was an awesome tour guide who took time to answer any questions we had. She has immense historical knowledge. After the tour we went to an upper floor balcony where a tea party was set up with cookies and different teas. Lemonade was also available. We were showed the 'proper' ways that tea was enjoyed back in the day and had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves while music played in the background. I would highly recommend this tour to all families!

job and saved a star. One star penalty for average wine and food that had clearly been sitting out too long. The tuna was overcooked and dry. Bison sausage was also dry coated with what was akin to Kraft BBW sauce....not what most would consider "chef inspired".

I'm new to Mead. I stopped by here for a tasting. A little expensive at $40 to try the 9 flavors (you get 2 oz of each), but I was able to narrow in on the flavors I like and did end up buying a bottle of their ginger flavor for special occasions. The two flavors I liked the most (both having lower alcohol content) are not currently bottled, which was a bummer, but they were really delicious.

Disappointed. Building was empty when we walked in. Person finally came. Did not like not being able to try beer before committing to a glass via sample or even paying for a flight. Left without beer and went elsewhere.
Loved this. We’re not huge wine drinkers but we enjoy learning about the process and history of the place. Macon was a very knowledgeable and fun sommelier. Overall great way to spend a few hours in Nashville.

Cute location with good mead. It's a very dry mead and not sweet like your typical mead is. Luckily, they let to try some first thing before you even pick. The flight was a cute option. I liked their seasonal offerings. The apple cranberry mixed with the mulled mead was on point. Love the atmosphere, lights, plant and, decor! Definitely recommend.
Did the Segway tour with Emma and let me say it was a blast. She gave such good info on the history and her instruction for the Segway was very helpful. Definitely worth it.

My husband and I have been to brown country state park and downtown nashville about a million times, but we never had a chance to stop at this winery until now. We did a wine tasting, which was complimentary by the way... that's awesome! We loved pretty much every one we tried so we ended up buying a case of 12 different wines. Everything was very reasonably priced. Also did a little shopping in the little store. They had some really cute Christmas gifts for my girls at work! We then decided to take a bottle and some snacks onto their patio area. Such a nice relaxing afternoon getaway! Can't wait to go back!

My husband had a beer while we stopped for a break from shopping in Nashville. Definitely worth stopping. It had a great taste. We like IPAs and chose the American IPA(we couldn't remember the name and it wasn't on their website) We think it was just opened and connected to the Cedar Creek Winery in Bloomongton. We would recommend for a shopping break. Friendly staff.
I cannot recommend this place enough! Amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown take some time to pause and treat yourself. From the yummy charcuterie, good wines, and even better service you will not find yourself disappointed. Some of the staff, Chris and Katie, even take part in the live music you can enjoy Friday- Sunday. While Kendra does not play music, she is still engaging as a friendly face and conversationalist. Don’t forget to stop by, you will not be disappointed!
We had a great experience here for a wine flight. The food was really good and matched up good with our wine. We had reserved seating waiting for us. There was entertainment in the middle to listen too including the guy who served us ended up singing too. It was a really neat environment.

Spent the afternoon strolling the grounds of Belle Meade Plantation and Winery. The gift shop is adorable and has something for everyone. Definitely make the time to tour the property and go take some pictures by the stream. After the mansion tour we did a small wine tasting and loved the sweet wines here! Be sure to stop by Coop and Scoop ice cream and fudge shop also located on the grounds. I’m not a big fudge eater but ended up buying a 6 pack box of different flavors they were so good! Plenty of places to sit throughout the grounds and enjoy the beauty. Enjoyed the history on the horse racing line that originated here!
We hosted a Will you be my bridesmaid wine tasting at the Amber Falls Tasting Room. Had a fabulous experience. The service was wonderful and the wine was delicious. Our favorite was the wine served warm!
I really enjoyed this place. First off great variety to try. Second they give you 6 free samples which is unheard of these days but I really appreciate that. There were very good about waiting on us even though it was crowded. Love the Blackberry wine if you like sweet wines. Definitely try the port wines if you like that style they were deliciously smooth and tasty with a kick. We were fortunate enough To be there on a sunny day so set on the porch and drank a bottle of chilled win. Great way to spend an afternoon. Reasonable prices for their wines just make it that much better. Weekends
