The owner of winery, Emily, went above and beyond to make our wedding so beautiful! We first met when we toured the other venue she owns and after talking, she suggested checking out Eden Try. From the beginning, she was so helpful and attentive to every detail. She answered every question we had and was so easily approachable. My husband and I booked the venue for the full weekend and stayed in the Manor House, which was so clean and aesthetically pleasing. It fit our whole wedding party and our parents. I was slightly nervous about the temperature and a June wedding, but the reception hall had fans and it was perfect. The reception hall also already had beautiful decor inside like a wall of mirrors and a LOVE sign that made it so easy to decorate. All my guests raved about the venue and I highly recommend booking Eden Try Winery!!

We chose this venue for our wedding in August 2024 and it was the most beautiful place to have it! The owners (Emily & Adam) were great to work with as well as the manager (Liz). They were all so helpful and accommodating to all of our wants/needs to make our day special. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book for any season it is beautiful all year round, plus the wine is soooo good!

We recently got married at Eden Try in April of 2024! Working with the owners was so easy and pleasant and the venue is just absolutely gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside and our reception inside! Emily (the owner) made sure everything ran smoothly and helped answer any questions I had and was always welcoming when we came to visit and see our vision for the future! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married!!

We had our wedding at Eden Try and it was perfect! The venue space is so nice and Emily and Liz were a joy to work with! It was so nice being able to stay at the Manor for the whole weekend and have all our families in one place, and the bridal suite is gorgeous. We got so many compliments about the venue. It was also nice having a Decor Catalog and Recommended Vendors List to choose from. It took a lot of stressors out of wedding planning. We are Eden Try members now and can't wait to go back and celebrate all our milestones and anniversaries there together!

We had our wedding there in October and it was amazing !! Absolutely beautiful scenery and the bridal suite was stunning !!! Emily also had so many little extra decor pieces to help add to our special day ! They were very accommodating as we wanted a food truck - they were able to help arrange all the details to make this happen for me ! It was a perfect day!!

This is more than a winery. They offer classes on wine making and sell many products to make your own. The owner knows his business well and I enjoyed Ody the dog as well.

I cannot say enough about the venue and staff at Eden Try. We held my military retirement ceremony/vow renewal here on March 9, 2023 and it was a phenomenal experience. Emily Morelli was super accommodating and responsive and Liz Watch was our amazing coordinator/bar tender. They removed all of the stress from the event and ensured that everything went off perfectly. I cannot recommend this venue and that staff enough for any event that you may be considering. They have really good fruit and sweet wines. They also have a great specialty wine selection. This place has a unique concept of offering wine making classes.

Yes, the location is not what you expect when you see the word "winery". But once you step inside you'll find a very cool tasting room, racks of the outstanding Bacchus wines, and all the supplies you need to make your own wine, beer and/or mead. Add in the cheerful, charming and well informed owner and you're in for a very pleasant discovery at Bacchus Winery!

I cannot recommend this winery enough! From weddings to just a simple picnic day, you will not find better staff or wines anywhere. My husband and I toured in 2021 for our 2023 wedding and did not have to look any further. The helpful staff and owners made our wedding experience amazing. With a few minor bumps along the way, the owners went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I and ensure we had a perfect day. Since touring in 2021, we have become regulars at the winery and will continue to frequent with our friends and families. The staff make us feel like family and the wines are incredible. The paradise and Fig Leaf are our favorites, aside from the wonderful seasonal slushies! This truly is a hidden gem in Virginia, you will not be disappointed! Wine tasting was awesome. The owner makes really interesting fruit wines (like blackberry, strawberry, etc.) along with classic dry wines and makes sure to give his customers the best experience. Can’t miss if you’re in the area.

We have just started the wine making class. Hal is fantastic. Knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he is doing.

10.7.23 - Saw Hall today. Picked up some bottles so I was ready for the 2 kits I have going and 2 more on the shelf. As always, Hal was great and had exactly what I needed. Thanks again for making Wine Kits such a fun hobby for me at home.

I read the previous reviews after I went. I can honestly say I can't agree. The experience was great and the wine was even better. The owner and his wife were absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. I can say since the tasting is free please make sure you support their business. Oh yea, how can I not mention the frozen wines..... It was a tremendous surprise. Go check them out and try their other food product.... Hands down I recommend.

Bacchus has It all. The winery, the tasting room and of course the personalize wine making area. You will enjoy it all along with a friendly and lovable dog named Odie!
I’ve made three different wines with Hal’s guidance and enjoyed his classes immensely. Don’t miss this gem that‘s a short drive off I95, on Rt3 west.

6 Stars! Hal is an amazing owner/operator. Wife enjoyed his wine making class so much she signed us up for a beer making class. So enjoyable. Look forward to making some IPA's in the future. Do yourself a favor and stop on by, you wont regret it.
