This possibly ranks as one of the worst restaurants in Melbourne.
Food is average, if I consider the whole menu. Never order naan here.
Service is horrendous.
I put an online order in. Order said pick up in 45 minutes. I had ordered two noodles. Nothing fancy.
I rocked up after 1 hour.
The girl on the counter said that they didn't even know that I have an order. Figure that.
Took them another 20 minutes to get my order done.
We been to have dinner, but we were very disappointed with the customer service,
When we entered we asked for the table for three and the waitress asked us just order through the scan code on table, we take it normally and ordered our food, after 15-20 minutes she came again and put the plates on table corner and go away, it was only one table in restaurant, but her behaviour with us ended up not to sit and eat.

Not recommended, coz if they don’t have time to give you a menu and take your order what you expect to get in fine dine restaurant especially when they have only one table.
Had goat curry today
Was delicious also cheese garlic bread
Was very much like pizza.
Overall very good
When we first walked in we were greeted to a quiet restaurant. We walked up to the counter and was served by a very patient male who stepped us through most of their menu!! He was so kind and the food was absolutely incredible. His recommendations were delicious and we will definitely order from here again. Thank you!!

We had Chicken and Goat Dum biryani as always but this time we dined in instead of take away. Chilli India Docklands, Preston and now Epping, so consistent with the Biryani taste. Service was very customer focussed even though they were swamped with take away and phone orders. Definitely has room for improvement for ambience compared to other Chilli India franchises. Definitely will be returning to dine in.

Got Goat haleem for take away, will update tomorrow after trying it.
UPDATE: I don't recommend the Haleem. Taken a star down for that which otherwise was a 5 star dine in experience.
We had our kid’s event last week and everything was fantastic . Thanks Naren and team for making it all perfect for us and everyone enjoyed it to the fullest . Highly recommend it for any celebrations and events .

Last night We went to Aroma Indian Cuisine Epping . The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything . I can't wait to come back again!” “The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. There staff also helpful and nice . I’ll prefer to everyone visit the o restaurant and enjoy their delicious food…
Worst experience of dinning at chilly India.we ordered paneer butter masala which is tasteless only gravy small chunks of paneer only. For the bhindi masala they make it in gravy and put curry patta and mustard seeds in it seriously bad taste naans are so expensive it is $5 for one.no recommended

On Valentine's Day, my partner and I visited this restaurant for a dinner date, where we indulged in the delightful Hyderabadi Chicken Dam Biryani. The flavors were exquisite, truly a treat for the palate. However, our experience was marred by the lack of attentive service. Upon arrival, we waited patiently for a greeting and a table assignment, only to find ourselves overlooked for several minutes. While we understood the restaurant was busy and operating with only two staff members, the oversight continued throughout our meal. Despite our request, basic amenities such as water were forgotten, and when provided a bottle of water, no glass was given. As patrons, we believe in the importance of feeling welcomed and cared for during our dining experience. We hope that Chilli India takes this feedback constructively, striving to enhance their customer service to match the excellence of their cuisine.
They took more money from my bank than the actual bill amount, while I ordered online. This is like ripping off genuine customer., but there was no attempt of help from them to fix it. I now realised I wasted my money, time and my energy to get me money back.
After a dinner I asked for tax invoice and paid cash. I got a BILL with no ABN or GST on the total. A week later went to get the tax invoice, the lady at the reception was rude enough to apologies and correct her mistake or deliberate action. Kept saying you asked for bill. Being a trades person, tax invoice is what I always asks.

Avoid paying cash and check the tax invoice before you leave.
Don't know why there are so many negative reviews on this place, none of my usual take out places were open for business today being new years so I decided to get food from this place even though it is a lot further then I normally order from, it turned out to be amazing. Chicken and lamb biryani, butter chicken, garlic roti and onion bhaji. Everything was cooked to perfection, imo this is the best Indian restaurant from Reservoir to Epping thanks a lot guys. Next time I will dine in.
I celebrated my 50th birthday party in October at Taj on High. We had the entire restaurant booked with around 100 guests. Excellent service, great ambience and delicious food. It was very well organised and the venue looked beautiful. Raman and team were very friendly and helpful. Our guests had a great time. A big thank you to the chef at Taj on High for the delicious buffet🙂
Our guests also enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!!!
Aroma Indian Cuisine in Epping is a culinary treasure trove that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. The food here is nothing short of exceptional — bursting with authentic flavors and crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Each dish is a testament to the chef's culinary expertise and passion for Indian cuisine. From the fragrant biryanis to the rich curries, every bite is a delightful journey through the diverse and vibrant world of Indian flavours. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with friendly service, makes dining at Aroma a truly memorable experience. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this place is an absolute must-try — it's a culinary adventure that keeps me coming back for more!
I had my 18th birthday here and I don’t have a single bad thing to say. The food was extraordinary and all my guests enjoyed themselves. Thank you to the wonderful host who made sure decorations, lights, food were just what I wanted and requested. I highly recommend this reception centre as they catered for my guests extremely well and I am happy with their service.

Went for dinner today and ordered a variety dishes, including the Special Goat Curry, Tandori Chicken, Garlic Naan & Mango Lassi.

All of the dishes were extremely well presented and prepared and had a great flavour. The service was very friendly and prompt.

Best indian food I have ever taste in Australia. Their chicken briyani is the best I've ever had and chicken was really good cooked really well. Wanted to meet the chef and say that he is a genius.
The chicken biryani was below average and a 2/5 rating is actually generous. Uber eats has a 4.7/5, I don't know how and that is completely misleading. The taste and aroma wasn't great but the price is at par with restaurants around that serve the same cuisine. You can say the biryani was absolutely bland or tasteless. Extremely disappointed. They should really improve their service.

our first time eating here and it was wonderful experience. Fish fry was amazing we ordered second time again. Overall good experience, friendly staff and chef. Food was tempting and delicious. Love it❤️ must visit
Very popular and spacious venue!!! Always feel very comfortable coming here due to the hospitality by Narinder and Manisha team. Ambience is very beautiful. They have right room for any size party. Many options to choose from.
I ordered 5 butter naan and i got a horrible undercooked naan and no butter in the naan. I tried to complain on the phone but they just hung up on me twice. I ordered this on 03/11 at 8:22 pm. I had a good impression of Chilli India but it let me down big time and im not going back. Who ever is the chef working that time didnt do a good job. And instead of taking complain properly, hanging up on customer is not acceptable. I take this as a very rude customer service. I hope the management take this complaint properly otherwise you will lose your loyal customers.
We had catering service from Chilli India Epping for a party. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Pratheek did an amazing job and ensured that the process from ordering including delivery, and setting the food warmer for the party was seemless. Pratheek also made sure that the food was delivered on time.
Chef, Aravind is also awesome.
I would highly recommend their catering service !
We had our girls birthday party at Heritage Reception, wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I particularly give 5 stars for looking after our guest well and they all had amazing time. Thank you for a memorable night and I will definitely be returning soon!

Good tasty food, reasonable price, atmosphere was bit blah, otherwise good place for some good indian food.
We had food delivered promptly. They all had punchy flavours, portion sizes were solid & overall a reasonably priced dinner option!

Its a good place with tasty food. We ordered samsosa chat but came to know that it was off the menu. We requested the chef if we coukd make 1 for us and he did!! Super thanks for going an extra mile for us. The samosa chat was delicious.
We also ordered chilli chicken, mutton curry, chicken roast and garlic naan and everything was 10/10!
The food ordered was tasty but the fish pakora was burnt and hence 4 stars. We would like to get a rain check for the fish please kindly take a note please. Thanks
Thanks to Narinder bhaji; we had our party on 18th March, everything was so organised beyond our expectations… really worth to spend money and will definitely book in future…
My family and I went for dinner here and it was amazing! The staff were very welcoming; especially the lady who greeted us when we entered. We were advised to scan the provided QR code for the menu and quickly ordered our dinner. We first ordered some masala chai which was good! Made me feel like I'm right back at home in Fiji. My family really enjoyed their food, while I enjoyed the Mango chicken and cheese Naan that I ordered for myself! Restaurant was clean and very accommodating. Will definitely come back here if we visit Melbourne again 🫶🏼
Was told to try this restaurant on my next trip to Epping, I’m so glad I did. I ordered a recommendation from the server the chicken taj special and asked for it hot some plain rice and a garlic nan bread. I should of ordered a plain nan too to scoop up the rest of the curry. The food came pretty fast the clientele were all Indians so I knew I was onto a good thing here. The food was really authentic and tasty. Washed it down with an Indian beer called kingfisher. I would highly recommend trying this one out. I was a little sad that there was a large fire at one of the nearby shops so closed this place down for the last 2 nights of my stay in Epping. Love Indian try taj on high 👌
I’ll start off by saying I’ve been to little Indian restaurants but Taj on High I really did enjoy the food, the only reason why the restaurant lost 2 stars, we’re that the seats were uncomfortable and we asked for the spiciest spicy food and we did not believe it was their spiciest option which was disappointing. However we did enjoy the food that we got and will return here and order through Uber eats to our home which we have before. A special shout out to their paneer stuffed naan and garlic roti which was delicious!

One of the best venues in Melbourne. The management is very understanding and they will go any length to meet your requirement. We did a function and loved the feedback from guests.
one of the best reception centers in Melbourne for any event like marriages birthdays and other corporate events
talk to Narinder for best deals with food and other decorations.

venue is very good today and clean with so many decoration options available

staff is very courteous and welcoming. prices are very good to meet your requirements

food is halal you can tell management to cater for your desired menu with dietary requirements...
When it comes to looking for authentic food, we always like to take bit time to drive to the neighbourhood where many of particular ethnic group reside. We worked in India for 2 years. So every once a while we would hit an Indian eatery, it brings back some fun memories of India. Taj on High doesn’t disappoint.
The flavours are on point. It is spicy, it is flavoursome, it is not overly sweet. The place itself is not hard to find with plenty of car space in front. The waitress was friendly. We didn’t make reservation beforehand. There were plenty of tables when we got there. Overall a very satisfying experience.
