Recommend checking this sport out if you're in the mood for some roti and curry. We stopped by yesterday and the food portions were great, the food was delicious and came quickly, and the service was great too! I really liked their sour - which we got with the poulourie and egg balls. Highly recommend!!

Overall, my experience at The Roti Hut was delightful. I left with a full stomach and a smile on my face. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Caribbean cuisine!

Got my hands on a veggie roti today and, wow... it was incredible! This place never misses. Every bite was like a burst of flavor and comfort—my stomach is literally doing a happy dance. If you're looking for food that satisfies both your cravings and your soul, this is the spot. Plus, the cashier was so kind and accommodating—top-notch service to match the food. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

A friend referred this restaurant to us so we decided to try it. We called ahead to see if they had any doubles and pholourie left which they didn't but could make more if we wanted. When we got there it was about ready so didn't wait long and man it was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, the service nice, friendly and professional.

The taste was fine but hygiene was questionable. I saw the guy stand on the countertop with his shoes on to get something and then cut cheese or something at the same spot 🥲

Go-to roti spot with good vibes and service. Dhal is always pillowy, curry goat was tender and flavourful, and doubles were amazing. Portions are good too — a $20 a meal fed 2-3 of us

Food is delicious and great value for money. They have an actual Tandoor to make authentic naan which is awesome. Curries are flavourful and the snack menu items are tasty.

I discovered Roti Hut on TSN Radio First Up and decided to try their Curry Goat Roti. The flavors were rich, showcasing quality ingredients. For spice lovers, it might be a tad mild, but the well-balanced combination and tender goat meat make it a delightful treat. Pro tip: don't forget to ask for hot sauce!

I took out food from here and had dinner at home yesterday. It was my first time ordering Indian food. So I asked the staff a lot of questions, but he explained things very kindly and recommended food. I ordered butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, and naan. The food was very delicious and the naan and chicken curry went really well together. Here you can see naan being made and baked in a clay oven.

My very first Roti was back in 1983, and yes, it was from the Roti Hut. It has been at least 30 years since I have been to the Roti Hut, to be honest, like many restaurants. I thought they closed years ago.

Today I happen to be the area working on a project, and had not eaten in hours, the traffic was terrible, so I turned into Pitfield hoping to avoid traffic and find a a convenience store, when I spotted the Roti Hut! It was still in the same spot. It was bigger, and it had been rebranded, but when I was hit by the lovely sents of spices, I thought, could it still be as good 40 years later? Can I tell you that it might be bigger it might be shinier, but the one thing that did change was the amazing taste of their Roti!!! In a world where little stays the same, it was amazing to eat something that was super tasty the first time and still super tasty now. It was such a nostalgic experience. If you love Roti....go to the Roti Hut, you will not regret it. I ordered my Roti spicy with boneless chicken and channel with extra gravy.....it was unforgettable the first time, and it is unforgettable 40 years later. There are not a lot of restaurants that have this kind of consistency after all these years!!!!!

Mediocre today compared to the many times I've been here. Not sure what it was but roti didn't have the same flavour or consistency was more dry today not much 'fluffy' to the wrap like it used to be today was super thick and too doughy and not much sauce.. maybe just a one off.
Service was also mediocre
Place always clean, spacious, have a sink you can wash up before eating and washrooms in bsmt have always been clean
There's always seating here every time I come. I see most orders are takeouts.
Parking can be a pain at times depending on the time you come

Great prices. I’m vegan and they had lots of options for me. I was able to get a meal with three different curries, rice, a spring roll, and a freshly baked naan for 10 dollars. The owners were very nice and filled my friend and I’d plates to the brim. They were very sweet and the food was good. My friend got the chicken biryani and that’s the food in the picture.

Small lunch spot with communal seating and limited menu, but good portions and flavour. This might not be a place for the purist but Yonge & Sheppard has been devoid of some consistent Indian food for a while and this fills the gap with reasonably priced options. The menu is not large, but you should expect this from what is essentially a whole in the wall. The lunch specials are the best value with a main curry, side curry, rice and bread for under $10. While the butter chicken wouldn't win any awards, it is still a great option and consistently good tasting.

Just tried the lunch special today $7.99.
The staffs are very nice and patient to explain how it words and the fools they have. We ordered the curry beef, curry chicken; we didn’t take their veggies this time. The staff strongly recommended their butter chicken but my friend wanted some curry curry today, the staff end up still out a little bit of the butter chicken sauce on the rice. We found out that the butter chicken is actually the best out of the 3 kind meat curry, thanks for giving us the sampler to try out. The naan is very chewy and freshly made.

Tried this place today. This area has just 2 Indian restaurants and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness at this store.
The prices are very reasonable and the food is made fresh to order. We had to wait 10 mins for our meal but we were really happy with the quality. Honestly it felt a little like home cooked food.
The best part was the naan was fresh out of a tandoor over and not like the factory processed one which most stores keep.
