What am amazing atmosphere & a memorable experience. It was a Saturday night, the restaurant was busy but the staff managed to find us a table for 9.
All staff were courteous & helpful but a special mention to Jatin who looked after us very well. His suggestions for drinks and dessert were helpful to order dishes to suit our taste.

Overall, very nice. Impressive sitting area. Food was tasty and fresh ☺️ couldn’t find the dish in the menu but I asked if they have it and they did☺️

AMAZING Indian food. It felt as if I was having my food at a restaurant in India only. Very flavourful food, authentic Indian spices, very aromatic and the service was very quick. Their recommendations were good as well. It was an amazing experience 😍

Their butter chicken is best, if you're Indian you might feel it bit costly but it's worth every penny. As a single portion it comes with Rice portion unlike India.

So I went with my cousin and ordered Chicken Biryani and Mili Juli Sabji and when the order arrived we were surprised to see the portions that they were serving. It was so small that even a baby would starve after eating the portion. We thought it was a joke when we saw the portions being served. Anyways we started eating and the taste was as bad as it looked (The biryani was disgusting and they even put eggplant in the Chicken biryani which is so unlike biryani and the taste on top was horrible. I don't know how is this restaurant even running)
On top of this the lady in the restaurant was rude as F***. I just took out my bottle to sip some water and the lady showed up and told me that I am not allowed to drink in from my personal bottle and started telling me about the restaurant rule in a very rude way. I ignored and when the bill came she started talking again on the water bottle. It was a big joke!

The worst place in Berlin is this restaurant Haveli.
The food dont have any taste and the woman is too rude . She dont know how to talk with customers. May be the restaurant will be closed soon permanently because of the taste and the behaviour of that particular lady.

had dosa to takeaway because they offer no service for dining in .. very disappointed with Service and taste of food. Dosa was soggy and Sambhar was watery .One could see the food makers (undeserving to be called chef) working in a very unhygienic and dirty kitchen. After having few spoons of Sambhar had to throw away the whole Thing. 20 € wasted away. Sad to see that such people tarnish the image of Indian cuisine and confirm the unhygienic stereotypes mostly shown in Media :(
Such an amazing place! Great quality and variety. Super tasty food. Everything we tried was so flavourful and well cooked! The staff is also beyond helpful. Definitely worth trying!
Went with my bf to celebrate anniversary. We both agreed it was one of the best meals we ever had and that the service was impeccable. We had the tandoori chicken with saffron rice as a side, two cocktails each and creme brulee for dessert. We left feeling that we got good value for our money and that the portion sizes were definitely large enough. We would absolutely return next time we're in Berlin

Delicious, authentic south Indian food. We ordered delivery so I can’t say anything about the atmosphere but the food was absolutely fantastic.

One of the largest Indian restaurants that I have been to. The service was really good. Host Navid was super humble and accommodating. He help me get the jain food and not just with minimum options, I got what I actually wanted in Jain. I am super grateful for that. The ambience of the place was lively.. Atlast, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the “Vijay” virgin cocktail. It was little sweet but still I liked the fruity flavors. They have outside, inside and also semi outside space and can serve more than 200 people at any given time without any major delays. Thank you for an amazing meal. I would definitely recommend trying it out once.

We ordered Chikka Tikka and it over priced at 18.90 Euro which is too high for just five pieces of Tikka. Service was bad as the lady informed us not to use water which we were carrying for my little kid. Request everyone to avoid this restaurant as much as possible
Amazing food and service! We had a great time and the food was very affordable. The meat was very tender and really well seasoned. After a whole day of exploring Berlin this was a great meal to end the day with.
We had today very good indian food in a very cool location near Potsdamer square in the heart of Berlin! Price performance ratio Was very fair. Bottomline, clear recommendation!

Two thumbs up. As an Indian it's hard to find a good restaraunt that serves a decent variety and fresh. This was a good chance find. The Rogan gosh was nice as well as the naan. The staff are warm and friendly (a nice change from many restaurants in Berlin, even Indian ones) as well as the manager who seems to be running a professional and successful smooth operating restaurant. And nice to get an Indian style side salad with onions! With some chaat masala. Not the Berlin version with mayo and lettuce and mango. Will be back again.

A very nice place for summer with different Indien traditional foods. Specially the bubble bread, the best I have had in Berlin. Curry dishes are also very tasty and lamb meat is soft. It deserves 5 stars!

Best Indian food I’ve had in Berlin. Actually, best Indian food I’ve had anywhere (note: I have not been to India but I’ve had Indian in lots of major cities in the U.S. and Europe).
Es ist eine tolle Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant zu speisen. Angefangen beim freundlichen Empfang an der Tür über das Ambiente bis zum Service ist es einfach eine andere Klasse. Dazu kommt ein besonderes Erlebnis bei den Speisen. Ich war im India Club mit einigen indischen Kollegen und diese haben bestätigt, dass der Anspruch des Kochs traditionelle Gerichte in außerordentlicher Qualität zu servieren, erfüllt wurde.

Ate Samosa, Paneer pakoda and Gobi pakoda. The samosas were filled with raisins, onions, peanuts; no authentic flavour of samosa. The crust was very thick, dint enjoy the dishes at all.

Paramjeet Aunty and her family are a wonderful host and even being in Berlin for more than 30 odd years, she is still as much as an Indian (Punjabi) at heart and with her personality as well. The location is very nice as well. I definitely recommend this place (esp. for the North Indian taste) and will be visiting myself in future as well.

This place is located in a great neighborhood of Berlin and has absolutely one of the best Indian dishes I have ever tried. In a 5 day trip to Berlin, I ate dinner at Maharadscha twice and both times the place was filled with people. I was well served by the staff, the food came quickly, and it was simply delicious. There is indoor and outdoor sitting and the environment is cozy. I highly recommend. No complaints just gratitude.

Amrit is by far my favourite restaurant in Berlin. The atmosphere is great, the food absolutely amazing, the portion sizes perfect! The service staff is very welcoming, efficient and professional. We always go here on special occasions.

Such a nice experience. Food was super delicious and the prices are amazing. Owner and staff extremely friendly. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Berlin again!
Lovely place with great food and kind staff. The food was extremely tasty, the portions were big and the place is extremely affordable. They make recommendations and are willing to help you translate the menu and explain about the ingredients they use. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and the tastiest veggie meal I’ve eaten.

Nice indian restaurant! I always try chicken korma but the other dishes are delicious too! But sometimes the quality of the food is too low i dont know what is this variation!! The prices are really good. The highlight here is mango lassi, its really delicious! The personnel are also really nice!
The waiters are blessed to work with such a good chef and the chef is blessed to work with such nice waiters. And the owners are blessed to have such good coworkers. It was a great experience, I liked all the food and my friends from Maharashtra liked it, too. They say it's authentic, up to the level of spiciness :)

I had the dal makni and shahi paneer and it was out of this world. The naan was very thin and fresh, just as it should be. I also had desi chai which hit the spot... I'm here on a work trip and have been missing my chai time so to have it here was great.

This is the first time in Europe I have been given the bill before I asked for it. So efficient lol! Then I was asked to leave because they have people waiting for table. I was one person sitting at a tiny table. The bar looks really nice but food is mediocre compared to what I used to in Vancouver.
This place feels like an overrated restaurant. The starter we ordered came with just two pieces of chicken. It was less compared to the price. We ordered butter chicken and one other chicken curry. Both did not taste anything like the authentic Indian curry. Also it came with other veggies in it. Only good thing was the mango lassi. Also the place was very loud. The staff was welcoming and the service was good.

Schon seit Monaten wollte ich beim India Club essen, weil ich indisches Essen liebe. Also hab ich mir fünf gute Freunde geschnappt und wir haben uns einen Tisch bestellt. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht - Das Essen ist großartig, der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend (aber nicht zu aufdringlich!) und auch die Drinks waren klasse. Klar, die Preise sind ziemlich hoch, gerade im Vergleich zu vielen tollen indischen Restaurants in Berlin - aber für einen besonderen Abend absolut im Rahmen. Allein wegen des tollen Essen möchten wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Warum trotzdem nur 3 Sterne? Meine Freunde und ich waren relativ schockiert von der Toilette, diese war zwar äußerlich sauber, roch allerdings sehr unangenehm (Besuch am Samstag, den 25.03.2023) - Erinnerte an einschlägige Berliner Kneipen. Die Toiletten sind aus meiner Sicht immer auch ein Aushängeschild von guten Restaurants und ich finde es wichtig, dass diese angenehm sind. Der Geruch zog Richtung Ende unseres Besuchs auch ins Restaurant. Auch unserem Nachbartisch fiel dies auf. Ich würde wirklich gerne wissen, was da los war? Vielleicht wäre Raumduft eine Idee (ich meine diesen Kommentar nicht böse und würde eigentlich gerne mit der Familie wiederkommen).

Meine Freunde und ich waren relativ schockiert von der Toilette, diese war zwar äußerlich sauber, roch allerdings sehr unangenehm (Besuch am Samstag, den 25.03.2023) - Erinnerte an einschlägige Berliner Kneipen. Die Toiletten sind aus meiner Sicht immer auch ein Aushängeschild von guten Restaurants und ich finde es wichtig, dass diese angenehm sind. Der Geruch zog Richtung Ende unseres Besuchs auch ins Restaurant. Auch unserem Nachbartisch fiel dies auf. Ich würde wirklich gerne wissen, was da los war? Vielleicht wäre Raumduft eine Idee (ich meine diesen Kommentar nicht böse und würde eigentlich gerne mit der Familie wiederkommen).
The food was delicious and came out fairly quick for how busy the restaurant was. It's a very big place so for people who don't like busy or loud restaurants maybe this isn't the right choice. Overall it was a good experience. The only thing that bothered me was that we had to pay for using the bathroom (we went here on December 30th so I'm not sure if this is always the case). I understand that keeping the bathrooms clean in such a big restaurant is a challenge however I feel like customers who already pay for meals and drinks and tips shouldn't also have to pay to use the bathroom.
Had the most AMAZING Indian food I have had in Berlin. The server was so wonderful and the food was incredible. Everything was bursting with flavour and the server even gave us extra spicy sauces when we said we liked spice. Great value for money, and has lovely staff and incredible food. Will 100% be back!!! Thank you so much! 😀

I would highly recommend the biryani as it is one of the best in Berlin. The food is very authentic and a lot of care if given for the presentation.

A very good Indian place.
Located 3 blocks from KaDeWe, far enough not to have the crowd, but close enough to have dinner in.
We lived in a hotel near by and came for dinner.
I will save this place in my favorites list and definitely coming back

I have to say Amrit has huge chains in Berlin but still their service to extremely good. Their staff is extremely friendly and service is fast. Ambience is great. The moment you step in it feels you entered in India and not only that the food is very very authentic. Every specific curry taste uniquely as it should in india for example. Additionally they also have happy hours cocktails offers. You must try Indian chai once and the recommendations by the chefs :)

Walked in and I was greeted by the hostess. I was taken to my table. Where I ordered a alcohol drink (Kamasutra). The drink came in really fast. I was surprised since the place was almost packed full. I ordered a lamb korma. The food was really delicious. I would definitely come back again. Really great atmosphere and the waiters were really helpful. It’s something new for me. I was pretty much blown away the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place.
Had dinner with my family. We had a reservation. Staff was not so much interested in showing us the table (three of them kept looking at each other to figure out whose turn it is). Once we sat at the table, we asked for a baby chair which we got. Staff brought 2 plates and two sets of cutlery. kid(not a baby) was not offered any plate or cutlery. We asked for it but still nothing. We asked again and finally got the plate and cutlery for the kid.(thankfully someone realized that kid can also eat). We ordered drinks and water for the kid. Again, didn’t get a glass even after asking repeatedly. At this point it was a bit annoying. Ordered starters, kulcha and swadistha thali(combination of multiple dishes served on a plate). At the end of the meal, asked to pack the food and staff says we don’t do that. Asked the other staff(who had got the plate, cutlery and glass for the kid) to pack. He asked one of his colleagues to do that. The colleague basically dumped all the food(around 5-6 dishes) inside a box. Attached a photo for reference. Basically all the dishes were on top of each other and mixed with each other(read cocktail of dishes). Had a terrible experience. Never again. Won’t recommend anyone with kid or anyone looking for good quality authentic Indian food in Berlin. Food, service, experience are all pathetic. Only positive thing is probably the art inside the restaurant.
Tasty and delicious Indian food. We went to this restaurant for Lunch and it wasn’t crowded. We had kadhai paneer and dal makhani. It was cooked perfectly at Indian spicy level. Tandoori roti was big enough. Mango Lassi was also fine. Overall good food at reasonable prices.
Literally the most authentic indian restaurant I have eaten in Europe. On top, they served Mutton haddi which and other Mutton dishes which are really Mutton, not lamb like in other Indian restaurant. Dum Biryani is also one of the best. I literally felt so emotional to have eaten here and the nostalgia brought back memories of India. Oh, and they also serve real Chapati! On top, the staff is super friendly and service is top class. Although it is one hour from my home, I still make sure to eat here once every two weeks, or when I am missing authentic Indian food.

Nicely decorated place. It is one of the decent restaurants in Berlin. The hospitality of the restaurant was good. We went there with our friend and family during last dec 2022. They provided happy atmosphere along with their reasonable prices on the dishes. Behaviour of the staffs were good. We ordered vegetable and non-vegetable dishes and the food taste was awesome. Dal was so tasty, we enjoyed a lot, it was a good experience to be there. They served complementary cocktail for us , we were so delighted.
The first time I came here they gave me the best yogi tea I've had in the area. Second time it was not as good but still enjoyable.

Amazing food quality.. Best combination of Indian spices.. Starters were just melting in mouth.. I recommend pink pearl for non alcoholic drinks..Giving one star less just purely because soya chaap in Main course was a bit chewy but overall wonderful experience.
Friendly services. The waiter greeted me outside and gave a menu with larger writing. The food came quickly and the waiter was very attentive. Excellent flavour of food. Definitely come back next time.

Sat outside of the restaurant for dinner. Ambience was nice and plenty of seating. Dishes were tasty and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian cuisine.

I usually went to this restaurant at least once a month for lunch. I will pick the Day Menu 'Tages Menu' which consist of a soup of the day - my fav is the pumpkin soup and chicken/lamb/fish/vegetable dish with salad and rice or Batura (the bread in the picture). The level of spiciness is mild. The portion is great and the price is reasonable.

The service is really good here. Nice hospitality. Paneer Tikka could have been prepared better. The portions served are quite good. Would love to visit again and try something else.
This place is just awesome. I visited this restaurant 9 years ago and I made a recent return. Visit. The food the people were just awesome. I had the samosas and a platter with lamb curry butter chicken and it was oh so good. I would have to say it is the best Indian food that I've had in Europe. This would be my go-to place whenever I want Indian food and I am in Berlin . Do yourself a favor and if you have a desire for Indian food. Do yourself a favor and go here.

A hidden gem. One of the best curry’s in Berlin. I saw it had decent reviews so tried it out. The service was fantastic, the owner even offered to make me something that wasn’t on the menu! A lamb sag (lamb with spinach), highly recommend.
Probably the best Indian food we’ve had in Berlin. Very authentic place, proper use of spices, the garlic naan was absolute fireworks. The staff is very attentive too. I’m decreasing a star because they charge for tap water and that’s very unusual and annoying.
One of the better Indian restaurants where you can expect to get some authentic Indian food. The staff is super helpful and the food is also quite good. The prices might be just a bit above the normal average but I would recommend it given the quality it provides. Totally recommended.
Food was okay but the didn't expect this kind of pathetic attempt of cheating the customer. They sold me what they called mango lassi for 3.5 euros which out of an unhealthy mango juice carton which had the price written on top 1.79. I would highly recommend to not take the customers for granted and try to provide better service
I have to admit that the main courses were delicious. Rice and sauces very yummy. For sure I will order them again. But the starters weren't so good. Chicken was fine but those balls nothing special, not enaugh spices I guess. The big minus were dessert, not bad in taste, but for 3,5 euro it was for sure to small - this i don't recommend. But anyway the main courses were really great so I know that I will order here again.
Best Indian restaurant in Berlin, perfect authentic Indian flavors. We tried some chats and Chhole Bhatura and they were just delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff is very cool. Highly recommended!
One of the oldest exotic restaurants in Berlin. The owner is always there and super friendly. I am a frequent here. It’s like a cult following, so many old loyal customers. People visit even from other cities.
Very friendly staff. I wouldn’t call it completely Indian of course they have to adjust to the local flavors. But they are always kind enough to make it more authentic for me with chapati.

The food was delicious with really good portions. The place simple decorated but beautiful. I came with my daughters and the waiter was very friendly and kind, bringing them chocolate and stickers.

Nice place to eat with seating outside as well! They have a huge menu (maybe too big to decide), but all the dishes I tried were really delicious! Prices are OK for that area in Berlin, main dishes around 7-10€, starters for around 4€
