It was a wonderful experience, we tried a lot of different dishes but the lamb shank stood out the most, it literally melted in my mouth, it was so soft and yummy 😋. Everything was quite balanced and had a great flavour. The wings, mantu and the lamb shank are especially the showstoppers. Really really good.

The atmosphere was really nice too, it's a good place to go with family and have a good time. The staff is really friendly and they seem to enjoy what they are doing. I highly recommend checking this place out.
Food is excellent and portions are great for the price. We ordered the chicken combo for 2 and it was more than sufficient for me, my spouse and 4 kids and even had to take a to go box. The restaurant is clean and the customer service is okay. Definitely would recommend. This is our 3rd time in Toronto and we always have to stop at this restaurant because they never disappoint.
Great place
This was my first time here and my first time eating Afghan food. It was a great experience. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is great and portions are big. The prices are fair. I recommend everyone checking this place out.

The food is the highlight- it’s fresh and tasty. The ambience is great too if you plan on dining in. The staff are polite but they could be more attentive.
Nice arrangement
Polite staff
Food presentation was good
The chicken the barge were very good 4.5/5
The kobideh kabab was either not fresh meet or Australian meet or not Well spiced ( unusual for afghani restaurant) 3.5
Finally the lamb shank was really bad, could be because we went their on Monday so it was a lift over from Sunday meals
I asked the person working their if it is Ontario lamb or Australian lamb
One did not know the other gave me the impression that it is Ontario lamb which taste great usually, I believe that this was either not fresh or Australian lamb

I recommend that the owner tell the staff about the type of meet they use
The rice was 100% authentic and was perfect 6/5

So over all I would not recommend this unless I get some explanation for unpleasant experience

Wash room was clean and the restaurant was clean too

We ordered combo number 4 and small order of mantu ll. The food was delicious and they provided great service it’s a great place to eat Afghan food with some authentic flavours.
Chicken Jhol Momo a must try, flavourful and very tasty. Everything was good but the man on the front desk was not as we expected.( was arrogant and tried to argue with us). My friend was just having fun by joking and clicking a photo, my friend was trying to be friendly but the man didn't look happy. Other wise our visit was good.
Cockroach in my dish (see photo)... Discovering a dead baby cockroach in the corner of my meal was beyond disturbing. The presence of a baby cockroach suggests a breeding population that is likely entrenched and probably a widespread infestation — the result of ongoing neglect of a clear pest problem. It's hard to imagine they weren't well aware of this.

Technically, I ordered this dish from Proud Vegan, which is essentially a front for Mt Everest — they share the same kitchen and facilities. A glance at their DineSafe records shows a clear pattern of infractions that speaks to a history of poor food safety practices.

As well, the fact that 'Proud Vegan' operates out of a kitchen also preparing meat dishes is a significant concern. This isn't about personal dietary preferences; but transparency and honesty in how a business presents itself to its customers. Failure to disclose this information is deceptive and undermines the trust diners place in them. This is an important detail that many vegans would want to know.

In posting this review, I expect the standard “we are investigating” response from the owner; however, given their record, such claims seem to be empty damage control rather than a commitment to real change. I urge fellow diners to avoid this restaurant (Mt Everest and Proud Vegan — same place) at all costs. Their kitchen just isn’t sanitary and their “investigating” the matter is an empty promise (I’m not the first to voice this complaint).
The only afghan restaurant that uses good quality meat.

Kebabs are juicy and tender, everything else is super delicious and fresh.

Service is great.

The place is spotless.

Can't wait to come again.

Delectable food, warm and friendly staff, excellent service. We had take out before but this was our first time dining in at the restaurant. The tandoori chicken is my personal favourite but every dish goes well together (based on the recommendations of our helpful server). The chef’s soup was to die for, honestly I have not has such a spectacular soup in ages, it should be on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Can’t wait to return for some authentic Indian food.
This place is great. The establishment is very clean and the service was professional. Of course the highlight was the food. The lamb and chicken tandoori were delicious and I was left completely stuffed! I think the lunch specials are also very reasonable considering how expensive everything is these days. Lastly, even the rice and naan very tasty. Definitely recommend!
Loved chili chicken momos, sauce was amazing. Definitely recommend chilli chicken momos.
I've been eager to experience this place for quite some time. Being recognized by the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years, it intrigued me with its blend of fine dining and Indian cuisine. Opting for their tasting menu proved to be a delightful choice – the experience was truly exceptional and justified the cost. Tej, our server, stood out with his extensive knowledge and helpful demeanor, adding to the overall enjoyment. Despite not capturing photos, the culinary experience, especially the Lamb and Dal makhni, was unforgettable. Looking forward to returning soon!

This is my first time in an upscale Indian restaurant in Canada, probably 2nd time ever. There's something elegant about the food here, besides being flavourful. Perhaps it wasn't too oily? I'm not sure what it is but I'll definitely be back. Of course, there's certainly level of creativity from the chef, it wasn't common simple Biryani or chicken Tandoori. Service and atmosphere were top-notch as well
Authentic Nepalese dish, service was great and very friendly. I really like the momos.
Washroom really need cleaning up!!!
Walked in for dinner on a Friday evening. Got a table instantly. The dishes are quite expensive but good portion sizes (had leftovers at the end). For 2 people, after tax and tip, the bill was ~$ 60/person
We got 2 appetizers, and 2 main dishes accompanied by some naan and roti. Personally, the appetizers were better than the main dishes. The butter chicken was quite average. The pav bhaji on the other hand was really tasty, and flavourful. Even the chaat was good! The Chili naan was interesting and worth a try. The roti was also cooked well.
The service was very good, and the servers gave us recommendations, and asked us multiple times during the meal if we needed anything else and how everything was.

Best Indian food I had in Canada, everything is so flavorful! Great service and atmosphere! We had the lunch special which is a set meal let you try all kinds of dishes. The butter chicken is so delicious.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Wow! It did not disappoint. We’ve been back more than once now to enjoy their tasting menu. Each course is just as delicious as the next. They also offer a wine pairing option as well so you can enjoy a different glass with each course. This is a very filling, absolutely mouth-watering dinner experience each and every time. The servers are so friendly and knowledgeable. They explain each course as they come. I highly recommend doing the tasting menu so you can enjoy all the different menu items.
This place peaked my interest based on its inclusion in the 2023 Michelin Guide. I was not disappointed.

The service was excellent, the vibe was chill, and of course the food was top notch.

I got the tasting menu which came with 5 appetizers and a main dish which consisted of small portions of different curries, rice, 2 garlic naan pieces, Gulab Jamun, and Raita.

It was the perfect amount of food to fill us up but not get too stuffed. The quality and taste of the food was what I was expecting from a place that made it into the Michelin Guide and the service was also up to standard.

Overall, I strongly recommend this place if you're nearby and there's an open table! Note that we went on a Saturday at roughly 12 and it was very open, but this place gets much busier at dinner time.

Great service and amazing food! The Khasi Ko Maasu is a MUST try! Went really well with the Piyazi Kulcha naan!
I was looking for a fine dining experience with art of food and heard that this restaurant got the Michelin recognition so I had to try it. The ambience is beautiful , the dishes are delicious and the patio was cozy .Must try the Prawn curry , Samosa , Daal , Spicy lamb chops and Eggplant fries .This really is a hidden gem on Bayview. We had an amazing experience and will be going back as we live right around the corner.

Amazing food, good service and generally great experience. We got the non veg bohjan special. It comes with a couple of appetizers, naan, basmati rice, two curry dishes (kahdi chicken and butter paneer) and a mix of tandoori and two other meat on a sizzling place and dessert at the end. (~$65 with tip and tax). The khadi chicken curry dish is as exceptionally tasty. Highly recommended.

I visited this place for dinner with my family to try nepali food.
Good:
1. Variety of nepali food options
2. Fair ambience
3. Quick service
4. Polite and welcoming staff
5. Genuine pricing.
6. Nice presentation of dishes

Not so good:
1. They don't serve salt and pepper
2. Food taste:
- Tandoori momos: no salt, filling of momos were tasteless
- veg soup: tasty
- malai kofta: tasteless, no salt and gravy was like water with some spices
- garlic naan and roti: super tasty
- Aloo Tama and Bodi: tasteless, no salt, no spices

Overall, not worth for 2nd visit.
Visited here to try the authentic momos, and it was really tasty. Especially their chutney. Also, tried jhol.momos for the first time and it was also good. Taste of momos was same as we get it in India.
Ashwin's service was wonderful.
