A small but decent and clean restaurant. We were here in the morning and had Masala dosa, vada and puri bhaji. All items were tasty. Fresh milk tea was excellent. Good service and nice ambience.

Really very good and delicious food. And specially it's pure vegetarian restaurant ,jain food is also available and its also very delicious so I suggest if you are in AL nahda,sharjah then you have to visit at least once for delicious taste.

We are regular customers. We order at least 1-2 times every week. This review is about the customer service and not about the food.
Today we placed the order for 2 sets of idli around 7.50 pm. We placed the order early cz both our kids were sick and we wanted to have dinner and put them to bed early. Our toddler who had not eaten the whole day due to being ill requested for idli for dinner..that's why we made order for the same.
However..even by 8.45pm we had not received the order and my husband called and inquired and they said on the way. Around 9.15 pm he called and checked again cz toddler was getting fussy from hunger and tiredness. And the person who answered was very very rude! He snapped at my husband and spoke as if we are given food for free. So much for being regular customers!
He even said that "Just take the food for free"..as if we are inquiring the delay just to get free food!
Finally, we did not take the food when it arrived after 9.30 pm cz of this person's rudeness . And thanks to them my sick kid who wanted to eat idli went to bed in hunger!

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturti we ordered food for 45 people from Al Pateel Restaurant… Food was really nice in taste and quality of food was also good.. delivery was on time.. Price was in bugget.. Packaging was done so well it was easy to serve to every1.. Thank you Al Pateel Restaurant..

I had planned a birthday party of my friend at this facility and since we were coming from Abu Dhabi we had called and booked before visiting, to be double sure of the booking I had sent my friend directly to the restaurant and had confirmed our booking but when we had visited they simply declined saying that there was no booking and the staff behavior was simply horrible. No respect towards customers, the worst worst experience that i have had in my 15 years life in UAE. Please do not visit this restaurant.
I had the worst ever experience here today, the staff here was so rude. While i asked for more pani puri water he replies "yeah toh kha lo" and then doesn't even give us on asking?? Then while serving food he didnt clear the table when asked for he replied "its on side of the table, have your food" !!! I mean what attitude??? The manager is least concerned about the happenings and doesn't say a word!!! Wht an attitude???
We have ordered veg pulav and unfortunately we ended up having a Japanese cuisine which is half boiled and diet concentrated food. Don’t go by the name ‘UDUPI’ the city which is famous for veg cuisines.

I had a very bad experience there. It was our first visit to this restaurant, which turned out to be a horrible one. We sat in upstairs section, ambiance was not good. Long waiting to get food. The thing i felt horrible was that when i ordered a chemeen mango curry they brought half cooked chemeen in fish mango curry . I dnt take fish and i dnt like the taste of fish curry. So i could easily make out that they cheated me by putting chemeen in fish curry after taking away the fish pieces. But it still contained small pieces of fish with fish bone. My whole appetite & mood was gone after that. When i complained they replaced it with another chemeen curry but i didn't get the authentic chemeen curry taste. So beware, dnt get cheated by them.
Their onam sadhya was good, palada payasam was super good, but the vadai and unniyappam were not up to the mark. Overall it was a good experience.

Among the other restaurants it's one of the best restaurant in muweliah area. The inside very less space. The food and service was okay (not bad)
Always order food from here. If you want to have delicious North Indian veg and non veg food then must try this out. Butter chicken, chicken banjara , paneer butter masala, Veg Kofta, daal makhni, and all goes great with garlic naan. Staff is great and delivers on time.

The restaurant is good,I had a birthday party of my cousin in this restaurant and we we are able to do the setup we want for the event as well and I would recommend to try out the best chicken biryani and butter paneer like it's Soo good. They do the event decoration as well but my cousin did it since she is does lots of craft for gifts and events if you want just message @fahmapreneur I would gladly help you 😉😉
The food was really nice and tasty. The food had the right amount of oil and was very healthy too. The taste and aroma of the food felt like it was cooked at home. I recently had a very bad experience from this rest. Very low quality food especially onion in the chili chicken had off taste due to use of aged onions. I will never recommend this restaurant for anyone.

Food arrived after 1 hour of Ordering. To my surprise the Aluminum foil of the container was open and the delivery guy argued and was not ready to except the mistake and wanted me to accept the open container food. Very poor service of delivery and food packing and not at all friendly staff over phone.

The food was amazing. I tried the chicken biryani and the pani puri along with some malaise kulfi. I bought some friends with me as well and they loved it too. Service was good too and had my food in 10 mins.
Good vegetarian restaurant... We tried Dosa, Pongal, and Poori. I enjoyed their sambar; it is delicious. Pongal taste like home food... Dosa and Poori are overpriced as quantity is not satisfactory. Recommended for vegetarian lovers.

Small eatery with basic ambience. Pocket friendly. Decent food. This restaurant is very old and hidden away from main roads and yet visible if you walk in between shops. Their authentic kerala ghee rice/beef curry combo is a must try. I tried their ghee roast but average in taste.

I love south Indian foods, so always I eat in different different south Indian restaurants. This place also very good, liked the food. Staffs are very friendly & polite. Specially that Sukka Dosa Mutton was amazing, this is first time I eat this dosa. Last I ordered Jigatdanda, which was not proper jigatdanda, they need to make it right, it was like a cold coffee only.

The place is small and there's not a lot of place to sit and may not look that great but the South Indian food served here is exceptional and very reasonably priced. The Kappa Biryani and Grill chicken is phenomenal and can give other bigger restaurants a run for their money. I keep coming back to this place for takeouts because the food is delicious, the service is great and last but not the least, the food is prepared very quickly.

Ordered paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken bhunagosh along with chapatis for lunch from noon food delivery app where 60 percent discount was available. Packing was below average.
Paneer Tikka Masala : 2/5 The gravy for panner tikka masala was average, and quantity is ok for 1 person but when the cost for this is high, quantity and taste have to be very good. Didn't enjoyed the gravy.
Chicken Bhunagosh 2/5. It felt like Normal Chicken curry, cost for this one is high but tasted normal.
Over all starting from packing till taste it was disappointing. May be it differs person to person by taste. Thank you.

The rates are reasonable, it was around 35 AED for two persons.

Please be watchful on the bills delivery team give you. Validate the bill before you pay since this restaurant has got a practice of giving free hand to the delivery team to print the bill, which i have noticed that comes manipulated. This unfortunately has happened more than once to me.

Worst food experience ever; Food delivered after one and half hours, additionally money charged for banana leaves and”dum” but not even the food is hot. Raitha, pickles are mixed on the rice, not worth to go with the restaurant.
Nice restaurant with typical kerala cuisine. They offer lots of traditional snacks with fresh milk tea. Along with thali and biryanis they also have Indian Chinese food with Gobi manchurian with kerala parotha.
It is a small restaurant but you would get all sorts of food varieties from morning 7.30 to night 11.00 pm. Poori bhaji, paratha, chaat items are available anytime. Their lunch and dinner Thalis are also very popular in nearby industrial areas and offices as they maintain the food quality and the offer a very homely food. Owner Jeetu Bhai and his son are very humble and hard working people. There are so many customers coming to this restaurant for years due to their consistency in taste and friendly treatment. You would also get the variety of sweets as well as mixtures. They do food delivery in all nearby offices and flats. Must try if you like desi food and you are in Muweilah.

One of the few places that's does authentic Kerala style ghee rice.. but even their barik set is very pure and give a home cooked feel and taste. The rice alone is very aromatic and can be eaten by itself.
besides tasty food and ambience, I would specifically add that the hospitality was beyond my expectations. the staff there is so polite and co operative. I would like to thank them for such services. plus the prices are so reasonable, its worth each and every penny. thank u guys, loved it.. Good ambience and I didn't felt anything special on their meals just an average I would say. They are not using fresh Coconut in their curries instead of the same they are using dried coconut powder which gives you a less quality to kerala recipes.
Nice little hidden gem of Sharjah. Neychor and Beef curry is my favorite over there. Malabari food with old world charm. Try it to feel it.....
Very nice place. Cannot boast of the space but definitely their service is worth some hype. They make juice and they have got Chai also. And they deliver promptly; be it to your location within sharjah there or in person. The also have grilled chicken, which from sight, one can guess that one will have a very beautiful encounter while dismantling the chicken. The price is average but the value you will get is above average.

Spice of India Restaurant is situated in Al Buhaira Towers - Ground Floor - Al Nahda St - Sharjah, UAE. Another gem i searched after a long time. I was yearning for soya chaap. While searching for soya dishes i came across this restaurant and that day i decided i will visit them. Yesterday was the day, i went and had delicious butter soya chaap, garlic naan, butter naan, aaloo paratha and veg biriyani.
Food was super delicious. My friends also enjoyed this food along with me. We were full but still we wanted to have more as food was super tasty. All type of vegetarian food are available. From north to south, you just name and in few minutes that item you would get on your table.
They serve the food with one green chatni, rayta and pickles which enhances the taste of food.
Take away and home delivery also available. Customers those who can't visit them can place their orders to them and get yummy food at their doors.
Nice place, proper sitting arrangement for all food lovers. There is separate sitting arrangement for family. Chairs are nicely placed with each dinning tables. Place is neat and clean.
Their staff also understands the requirement of customers and they serve them accordingly. You don't even need to ask them for anything as they are monitoring you and your needs continuously since the moment you enter in the restaurant.

Food was super delicious. My friends also enjoyed this food along with me. We were full but still we wanted to have more as food was super tasty. All type of vegetarian food are available. From north to south, you just name and in few minutes that item you would get on your table.
They serve the food with one green chatni, rayta and pickles which enhances the taste of food.
Take away and home delivery also available. Customers those who can't visit them can place their orders to them and get yummy food at their doors.
Nice place, proper sitting arrangement for all food lovers. There is separate sitting arrangement for family. Chairs are nicely placed with each dinning tables. Place is neat and clean.
Their staff also understands the requirement of customers and they serve them accordingly. You don't even need to ask them for anything as they are monitoring you and your needs continuously since the moment you enter in the restaurant.

The ghee rice beef curry combo from this restaurant has always been top notch. But I like the combination of porotta and beef curry more than the former as I always go there for dinner.
I was in Dubai recently during COVID times & while visiting Sahara center ,had craving for vegetarian homefood .On google search found this restaurant SPICE OF INDIA. It was a wonderful experience in service & food quality . Ambience & decor was also very soothing . Tried veg thali & dahi puri .Recommend highly for veg foodies in Dubai & Sharjah.

It's the best restaurant in the area. I had Special Thali. Food was delicious. Ambience at the restaurant is nice. There is a small hall upstairs where you can organize a small party for 20-25 people like Birthday Party. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for quality Indian Food.

It is a traditional Indian Restorent with Indian, Chinese and Continental menu. It is newly opened as a subsidiary of Ruwi hotel apartment and so there is a Party hall attached to it. The kitchen is an open kitchen and well hygienic. The tables are well arranged and enough staff to attend each table. The food is tasty and healthy.
