Just loved onion Pakoda. Ask them to make it spicy and you will just love it. Portion size is big. I also tried Sag Paneer which was also flavorful. At HOT level it was not that spicy. Spice lovers can go one level higher to bring the authentic flavor. Khir was also very nice. Roti was disappointing may be because I took the delivery.

I had the lunch buffet as this was only my second time having Indian food...I tried some of everything and wasn't disappointed by anything I tried, everything was delicious! I especially loved the Goat curry! Service was exceptional, my water glass was always full, and my needs were anticipated without being cloying. It was truly a lovely experience, I can't wait to go again! I officially love A Taste of India and Indian food 😋

Ive been here several times over the past 10 years or so for the lunch buffet. Its not a fancy place, and the spice levels are low because it's a buffet, but it's decent and one of the few buffets left. I would've given it 4 stars in the past, but today was different. After eating half my food, i bit into the chicken Tikki Masala (which seemed to be using chunks of Tandoori chicken like butter chicken uses) and it felt mushy on my tongue. Thought maybe it was flour or something, but spit it out and the chicken looked totally raw. Took it over to the guy who seemed like the manager, as I didn't want to be "that guy" making a scene. They took my plate back and somewhat apologized, asking me if I wanted a clean plate. At that point I had lost my appetite. So I went up to the register. I figured they'd say "oh, no charge", but nope, they took my money, and apologized again.

The money really isn't an issue, as I can afford to pay and wasn't looking for a free meal. But I can't imagine any restaurant charging someone after they just got served mushy raw chicken (which was impossible to notice until it was already in my mouth being chewed). Disgusting. No way I'll ever be back. Stomach rumbling now. Praying not to become violently ill for Christmas.

Paratha says vegan friendly on the menu. It came covered with ghee. Waiter told us they can't make it vegan. I don't understand why they label it vegan on the menu.

Best North Indian restaurant in town for sure! We ordered sev puri which is must try, we also ordered paneer kadhai which had authentic punjabi taste and we ordered punjabi lassi as well it was so creamy! Loved the food! Staff was polite too! I will highly recommend it!

The food is really good. Not spicy and still very tasty. Service was good as well. Our server was Jaydeep. He suggested a good dish and service was quick.

Seriously so good! The service was great. Restaurant was clean. Food was SO Delicious! My kids wouldn't stop taking my food! We ate the butter chicken, garlic Naan, chicken Tikka masala, chicken curry, Naan, the mango lassi, and some kind of mango fruit stuff! Just really fantastic

Our favorite restaurant in all of Bloomington normal. Great value, excellent service and amazing food quality. Calming atmosphere with Indian music playing in the background makes it very enjoyable for Friday night dine out. Favorites here are paneer masala. Saag paneer, Kashmiri naan.

We were really impressed with the generous quantity and quality of food . We ordered papad, poori, bhatura, and Chana masala. They served food real quick. We also got side of fresh onions and achar along with poori which was super nice. Ambience also nice.

Absolutely delicious. My all-time favorite Indian resturaunt in town. They've been here for years but keep the resturaunt updated. The owners regularly add new dishes to the resturaunt frequently, and are very communicative with the public on social media. If you ever need to know more about a dish don't hesitate to ask one of their sweet staff members. They decorate for holidays, thos set up was for Valentine's day. Cannot wait to eat there again!

Would give ten stars if possible. Ever walk down 4th Street Bloomington and smell something wonderful? It's most likely Taste of India. I would highly recommend stepping out of your usual food choices and try something new... Taste of India's food is my new addiction. I will be back time and time again. Great environment, great service, and such wonderfully tasting food. They even have lunch buffet options that are worth it.

I love Indian foods. Their service was good. But they gave me bills in the middle of having a meal. I felt little bit uncomfortable .. :) The food was good and I love their nahn. I will try another menu next time. Also, they have huge parking lot!
