Excellent food. Generous portions. For a curry in Brussels, good prices. Eclectic deco, which only added to the experience: new York loft meets Scandinavian coffee house.

Me and my girlfriend are trying indian food all around Belgium and we have tried quite a bit of restaurants at this point.
Le petit flagey won't disappoint you, the food is excellent, generous and so damn tasty.
The chicken burger was truly an experience to behold, and you simply cannot go wrong with the samosas.
The personal is friendly and I cannot wait to come back.
Tried the vegan burger for 8.50 eur. Good and fresh salad, fried burger with a good consistency and texture. Kind of Indian taste to it. Very tasty and spicy sauce. Kind of deep-fried aubergine and onions were on the vegan patty. Those were good! Atmosphere is not really present. Like any fastfood restaurant. The staff tries to give it a bit of sphere by nicely bringing your food, but overall it remains a snackbar feeling.

Good food and friendly service at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the vegetable curry and the naan was very tasty.

My girlfriend and I ate there on Friday evening. The food was really good and the service is amazing, they were so kind . Definitely recommend. We’ll come back!
Took the large menu. Food is Ok but missing some spice to elevate the overall taste of the food to the next level.

I've been a loyal customer of my favorite Indo-Pak cuisine in Brussels! It has been seven years now, and every visit has been an absolute delight. Their vegetarian options are truly outstanding, and I've had the pleasure of introducing many friends to their exceptional non-vegetarian dishes, all of which they've loved. This restaurant is a must-visit; it has a warm, family-like atmosphere, and the recent renovation has only added to the overall experience. And, last but not least, the owners and everyone there are truly lovely and make you feel very welcome!

Tasty food. Feels healthy. Ok portions: not too big, not too small. A lot of space. Stable chairs and tables. Not too loud music. Could be cheaper in my opinion in comparison with an average Indian restaurant, but ok if you compare with other cafes in the district

Small neighbourhood place that has been here for years and is almost always empty. Had a takeaway Chicken Danshak. Portion was big. It was tasty but could have been a bit spicier. Will add another star after trying some other dishes and asking for more heat.

I ordered a vegetarian meal but I received chicken instead. The staff reassured me that it was vegetarian but later they found out they were wrong. They didn’t apologise. When I finally received my vegetarian order I received a super spicy one even though I asked for a non-spicy sauce. No excuses were made, very unfriendly staff.

The owner was treating his waiter really badly, talking negative and short and almost yelling at him at seeral times, although his waiter was friendly, accomodating, fast, polite. The owner talked to the customers in a falsefriendly manner where the waiter before the owner was present was way more friendly even if he had a bit of difficulties with english language. We could make us understood by using the menu and appoiting items. But the owner was really feeling very fake and he was very unpolite and harsh on his waiter which turned the atmosphere for us ...
Food was Really Ok for us (although they added sth that was def not homemade and that we didn't ask for). If it wasn't for the owner's attitude we'ld go back.

The frustration is that the food is good but takeaway service can be truly woeful. We have been using for years and think this may be the last time, having ordered a meal at 7.15 I called at 8.15 to check progress and told food is on the way. I call again at
8.45 and initially I’m told the delivery driver left a ‘long time ago’ when I pushed for a truthful answer am told he is just leaving the kitchen.
At 9pm the meal finally arrives but nearly 2 hours for one curry, rice and a couple of sides is ridiculous.
I suggest ordering take away with caution, don’t expect a truthful answer if food hasn’t arrived and avoid Saturday nights… and Thursday nights too apparently!

The food was delicious, the portions were great and the service very attentive. The mango lassi drink could be a starter itself… so good.

I love Indian food and wherever I am I try to find a restaurant. Here at Shezan in Brussels I found the best so far. What makes it so fantastic

Atmosphere: the restaurant is very nice furnished and decorated. The whole setup of the restaurant gives you a very comfortable feeling. It is vey clean and the background music absolutely comforting.

Service: the service is outstanding. The staff is extraordinary friendly and absolutely professional.
It can be compared with the staff of a fib eine gourmet restaurant if you know what I am talking about.

Food quality: the most Importabgabe thing, the food, is incredible and outstanding.

Prize: very reasonable absolutely top

Resume: one of the best Indian food restaurants I’ve ever been.

If I could I would add a 6th star

Great place to be! I always look forward to coming to this place! Very cozy yet classy! I went there Saturday with my family and three little kids. The youngest was crying and had tantrums, and the weighter kept assuring me that I didn't need to stress about it. He even took the little baby in his arms! The food was delicious and fingerlicking! You won't regret coming to this place! Greetings from Yasmina (wife of sofiane)

Ordered a take-away chicken tikka masala, got my order in ~6 minutes.
Sauce was prepared right after I ordered instead of pre-made, chicken and rice cooked to perfection, would come again, best of luck to the owners.

Absolutely delicious butter chicken, jalfrezi, and tikka masala curries - we loved it and will continue to go back. Our portions were large, with enough leftovers for a second meal the next day. The staff were very friendly and gave you the opportunity to experiment with flavours and spices (great for those who don't want the dish too spicy!). A new gem in Ixelles.
My boyfriend went the other evening, the restaurant practically empty yet we had 10 min to seated and 15 min for the waits person to get our order.
About 10 min later we got our samosas; which were clearly store bought. Let’s not even get started on the vindaloos advertised as their spiciest curry, even somebody with as little spice tolerance as my partner was able to handle it with ease. The naan was also clearly store bought, we couldn’t even taste the garlic. Now, let’s tackle the hygiene. The velvet chairs clearly haven’t been cleaned in a while, and I’m sure it sure it would be very difficult to remove stains from velvet carpet.
Drinks were nice though…. 2/5!

The staff was friendly, but the place was a bit to crowded for us. Tables are so close that we could hear our fellow countryman, let's call him Jan, was talking to his wife or girlfriend about the price of every dish (how come I always feel embarrassed when that happens)...
The food was okay, I had better Indian food to be honest, but it was value for money.

Newly renovated and expansion of space, this makeover was a pleasant surprise! Been to the resto before the remodelling as well. Food is very good. Taste buds never disappointed. The boneless chicken tikka is so good. Simple dish yet complex in flavour. It’s my go to when I go there. The chicken tikka masala is quite nice. They can make their dishes from mild to spicy. Appreciate the flexibility. Kind and friendly service. Definitely recommend this place for really good Indian cuisine. Added plus is it’s open on Sundays for lunch!

Halal food available. A very good place for indian and Bengali cuisine.. recommended for every type of food lovers.
No alcohol is served or allowed.
Most amazing South Indian food I ever had in Europe!
Truly faithful to the Southern Indian cuisine, extremely fresh ingredients, all sliced and prepared on site by hand.
Very nice and cool decor. Great beach style terrace and amazing inventive cocktails. Will definitely go back there often.
The very nice plus is that digestion was very smooth ;-)

So great to find this place; I was really upset when they disappeared from City 2.. And here they are, better than ever! Delicious, tasty Indian food. And their cocktails are very good as well. Welcoming and smiling (even behind the mask),... It's an absolute go-to!

Mumtaz is a good place for Indian food, both if you want the classics or if you want something a little different. They don't take credit card and they aren't super fast, but the food is good and the prices reasonable. The vegetarian selection was nice and I recommend the paneer with peas. Choose the Nepalese chicken if you want something completely different from what you are used to.
We were here at lunchtime on a Fri, the restaurant is clean and cozy. The staff was friendly. We had Momo and samosas for starters and loved the momos. Naan /rice and curry were all tasty. I would have liked my curry a little spicier but I guess it tasted great. The prices were reasonable too. Would be happy to go back again.

We trusted the high ratings and the pictures seemed to match. BIG MISTAKE! The restaurant is actually Indian-Pakistani, not Indian and the taste of the food shows that. We ordered Paneer and all of us thought that it was store bought (the whole thing, gravy too) and so did the Naan. Uploaded are photos of the path to the bathroom to wash your hands. Only the eating area is lush, nowhere else. Not recommended.

I was craving Indian food so just went on Google maps and this was the closest to where I was. It did not disappointed. It was late so I was the only customer. The waitress was super friendly, came to check if all was okay. The food was excellent. As mentioned before, it doesn't look like big portions but they are! Very tasty.
