Honestly one of the best restaurants in Dublin, I will definitely be coming back! The food selection is impressive and each and every item is absolutely delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
It was alright but not for my taste..
The service was very fast but I found it difficult to eat because the warm boiled potato was too difficult to digest without a vegetable in the chicken shawarma
I found some traces of tiny pickles that were softening from the potatoes. I found the garlic sauce heavy, but overall it was ok, just not my taste.

Great joint serving Middle Eastern cuisine. We had a variety of dishes - mains and starters and we all enjoyed it quite well. I do not recommend any desserts as they were quite bad - hence taking of the star. Finish the meal with a traditional coffee though - was fantastic.
Very delicious meal at The Cedar Tree. We ordered the lamb arayes to start, then the chicken mansaf for me and the sea bass for my companion. Everything was very tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the mansaf. The flavours were excellent and the meat was grilled perfectly. Looking forward to returning here.
The only downside is it is expensive, but I had assumed it would be due to the city centre location. It is no more expensive than any other restaurant in this area.

Great food and experience! We split a BBQ platter for two. Good portion size and service. Food was flavorful and fresh.
Eaten twice recently and quite happy with everything except the cost. Food is quite good (especially the lamb shawarma) but I'm finding prices in city centre have really gone up considerably for the item/portion size provided.
Good seating well lit but unfortunately NOT disabled friendly at all despite good street access. Indeed, toilets are up almost 2 flights of stairs so difficult even for the elderly & visually disabled.
Recommended for the hale & hearty.

The quality of the food and the taste was good but the portion size is realy small (mainly the rice) especially with higher price compare to other places!

Absolutely love this restaurant, the service is super friendly and helpful, food delicious (my forever favorite is lamb mansaf) and the restaurant itself have great atmosphere. It's a brilliant place for a lunch or dinner, maybe to celebrate special occasions 😊Definitely recommend!!!

If there were 6 stars or more of mash that button. Had the 25 mixed grill kebab assortment. Out of this world flavors and tenderness. I'm going back tonight and taking my friends!
Really enjoyed the food here. Lovely people and massive portions. I thought I was ordering a sampler platter for 1 and it was 3 giant plates of food. So delicious, though!
Alice was an amazing, knowledgeable, warm, passionate and pleasant server - great sense of humor too! The food was well-presented and delicious; the atmosphere was fun and invigorating, and the entire staff was welcoming and professional! Great Lebanese wine selections, too! The falafel was the best I ever had! Highly recommend!
I loved my food so much, I got the chicken wrap and it was juicy and flavourful, perfect lunch and affordable the workers were so nice and you could tell they care about their food 1000000/10

From ambience, service and food everything were spot on. This is such a humble restaurant at the heart of portobello. We tried the Hummus, falafel and halloumi grilled starters- tasted amazing. I’ve been to other Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurants and the hummus and falafel tastes different from other places but good different in terms of taste. Aubergine mousakka was soothing , I had the dish by itself (rice is undercooked for my liking, probably that’s how it’s cooked traditionally-no problem) Chicken Shish it was juicy and succulent!! All of the salads and pickles were delicious too.

I came here with my friends and had an amazing experience! Loved the decor, the food was delish and the service was top notch. We also had the hookah and everything reminded me of the middle east where I grew up. The desserts were the best, I'd die for the kunafeh. Must visit for a good meal!!

Happened to come across this gem of a restaurant on our recent trip to Dublin. Delicious and has reasonably priced lunch choices. Would definitely recommend for those looking for vegetarian options!
Came here as part of a larger group. The food was not very flavourful in my opinion. I did only have veg though. One of my friends did say the lamb was good. The service was not great though. Orders took really long (yes we're a larger group, but the place wasn't busy at all). The person who brought our food out kind just tried to find who ordered what and dumped plates on the table, especially if we were slow in answering. The table was not cleared regularly and cutlery was not given unless requested after the first set was used. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be back. The place looks amazing though! Can't fault that.
I had a great experience in Rotana Cafe. I went there for dinner with my boyfriend and we loved our food. It was a different experience as I am quite new to Lebanese cosine, but for sure I will be back!

The food was good but not so good from the price point of view. It is approximately around 40 euro per person if you order drinks with it.

The restaurant is beautiful. The food is fantastic and the service perfect. It wasn't busy as it was around 1.30pm. So we just walked in and sat, ordered and HEAVEN. Kids loved the food. Rice vermicelli is gorgeous. The lamb meatballs/ the Syrian lamb stew and the mix grill (see pictures). Try the Syrian black tea with mint. Please check this place out
Extremely fast and professional with great prices. The Woman in the kitchen on her own did a fantastic job serving at a busy time, Great Vegan and vegetarian options for €10
Food is good and service is excellent. Prices could be a bit more competitive but the nice decoration makes up for this. It is a good place for being with friends or for dates, given the adorable atmosphere.
The grilled chicken sandwich is so tasty but it’s messy.

Very good place. Can be a little bit pricey for some dishes (small portions) but very tasty. Loved the mixed grill, the falafel full of flavor and yummy hummus and the halloumi bread. You can bring your own wine too. Friendly staff too.
Nice staff and cozy restaurant. The food is vegan friendly and the attention to the customer is 5 stars.
My favourite falafel place😊. I got the falloumi and my bf had his own wrap made up with humous and halloumi. Excellent value for money, the serving sizes are huge and food is delicious. Will definitely be back.
A lot of GOOD vegetarian options. The portions are big for the -very reasonable- price.

O’Falafel simply has the best falafel that I’ve ever tried. Also the chicken and the halloumi are amazing. You should try! And it is inexpensive as well.
(Edit: O Falafel has closed. Now, this Restaurant has a different name, Do Falafel. I tried it and it is not tasty and just standard. The staff seems approachable but I won't recommend it)
