I recently went and ordered a very large platter of food from this location for my work and was served by workers Fadi and Omar. I don’t even know where to begin. The food was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, hot, fresh and delicious. The service was even better. Both Omar and Fadi were very welcoming and polite people. Overall couldn’t be happier and I can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing!

Chadi is super nice and extremely friendly the second I walk in the building, smile on his face mixed with the deadly meal prep and quality food, I’d give this place a solid 10/10 in every aspect. Is becoming a regular spot I’d recommend 👍👍

The best Shawarma in the city! Very friendly staff and very authentic Lebanese menu. Highly recommend trying the garlic potatoes! Very flavorful and great priced!

Positives : good service , tables were clean and as well as the overall atmosphere , free parking lot , Turkish bread piece was great.

Negatives : not worth for the price when other competitors are offering better food with best prices , poor portion size , fries were cold and I felt that fries was just a manipulation to make the plate look full in quantity , rice is just regular rice which doesn’t have much flavour , lack of flavours in meat too , doesn’t taste like good quality meat .

Overall , I’m just not satisfied with the food , this team has good potential to do better and should focus on improving the food .

I got an Uber Eats order for pickup. Among other things, I ordered chicken shawarma wrap and paid for extra chicken. What I got wasn’t extra chicken at all!! I order frequently hear and this time I was frustrated.
Also, when I picked up my order, the guy there went “please bring your bag next time, we’ll let it go this time” asking a follow up question, turned out he thought I was working for Uber Eats. He then qualified and said sorry, but it was an unfriendly gesture.
Update: I went back to the restaurant today and I met Omar the owner. He was very welcoming and courteous that he insisted on giving me an extra side dish for free on top of the meal that I originally ordered too. I appreciate the nice gesture and definitely will be back.

Our server, I believe her name was GHITA she was an amazing host for the evening. She was welcoming, friendly, attentive and professional.

Super juicy and delightful kebabs. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the garlic toum was perfection. I got the meal to go but even after a 20min drive, the fries were still crispy and meal was still perfectly hot.

Salad dressing of pomegranate molasses and lemon over crunchy cabbage mix. Paired very well with the different meats to keep things interesting.

Service when placing order was very pleasant and you could tell the restaurant area was well taken care of. 5/5!

I always love going to Paramount. The food is absolutely amazing, all cooked fresh in house and delicious. The fresh pita are unmatched. Food is fairly priced, and the portions are big - making it a great deal.

The staff are always friendly, the whole place is always spotless. I'll absolutely be going many, many, more times.

Went to eat at Sahara about 1 year ago and been wanting to go back since, we finally came back and the food was just as phenomenal as I remembered. I’m looking forward to our next visit

Shawarma here is super delicious and the fact that comes with some fries is a plus. Alao really enjoyed the Lentil Soup. Will visit again.

I had a fantastic experience during my lunch visit here. The bread was freshly made, hot, and puffy, which paired perfectly with the delicious hummus. The food and customer service were beyond amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend this place. A special thanks to our table attendant, Nida, she was incredibly friendly and attentive.

I have been in a search for a great place for Arabic food. This Lebanese and Turkish inspired restaurant is the best I’ve tried in a long time.

Located in the north side of Edmonton, worth the drive to be honest. The place is big and can cater to big parties and families. The food was amazing, tasty and will leave you wanting more. I promise you, you will not be disappointed and you will come back for more.

Can’t wait to come back. You can see that my nephew’s really enjoyed it a lot.

We really liked the food, the portions are generous, I tried the lamb and my husband the chicken, both very well cooked, for an appetizer they gave us super tasty fresh bread. Drink options are very few.

$18 for ice cold fries and a small beef wrap. I was concerned about the price but the guy said it would be worth it.
Im a 3 minute to home. The fries should be hot.

I can walk 2 blocks to a similar place and get close to the same thing but way better for $13 .

If I wanted ice cold fries, I could have dug some out of the gabage at McDonald's

I must say this is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Edmonton or even Alberta. They start you off with humus and freshly baked bread from the oven (both complimentary). They have a large menu but i think their lamb chops were among the top rated. Their beef kababs with good and seasoned potatoes were quite different with unique Arabian flavour. I am not a fan of chicken overall but chicken skewers were decent.

Always satisfied with the service and the food that i come all the way from Saskatoon to here. One of the best if not the best place to eat in Edmonton. So much food and very good price.

Food was amazing, their Turkish bread is so fresh and it’s complimentary. Loved their Turkish coffee and Baklava as well. Restaurant has ample amount of parking in front. This place gets super busy, many items on the menu were out of stock and you may need to put extra efforts to get the attention of the servers 😉

10/10 recommend you come here! We enjoyed a delicious lunch, served with soup to start! The chicken shawarma is a generous serving of deliciousness. I highly recommend asking for the Arabic tea! Andrew was an excellent server, who was the nicest and added a personal and fun experience to our meal!

I have been going to Paramount for several years now and i can definitely say for a fact that the food has gotten better recently. I dont know if they changed their cook, but whatever it is they did, food is delicious. The atmosphere and the music top it all off amazingly. Service was quick. I didnt wait too long for my food or drinks. Polite staff, family friendly. 5 stars, would definitely recommend going there for my next family outing.

So I finally was able to try this place after being recommended so many times by my barber Alex, first thing to talk about is the restaurant, the restaurant is so beautiful and I love the entrance fountain is very unique and fancy, I was there around 8 so it wasn't so busy, I first ordered the three type of hummus and the cauliflower bite things, they were ok not so amazing and I found it to be way to flavourful and couldn't really taste the other stuff, then I ordered the beef platter which was ok, I find it to have waaaay to much rice and barely any meat and some of the meat was very over cooked. The service was probably the most downside of things, the service was really bad it took forever to order our food and we never got our drinks topped off or asked if we needed anything else to drink. Over all it was an ok expirence, for the drive is not worth it just yet.

This was hands down the BEST restaurant experience I have had in a while. My Kid and I wanted to try a new place and came across Sahara Palace. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken by the calm, cool atmosphere, and the warm welcome and hospitality we received from Andrew.

We choose the set meal at $45/person as it seemed like a great way to try a bit of everything. We weren't wrong. From start to finish every dish was not only delicious, but a beautiful work of art. Simply stunning!

For those thinking the price point is high, NOPE! The quality was top notch and there was so much food! We had to stop eating and box up food to take home to save room for dessert!

Seriously incredible! Andrew (our host) is super personable and friendly, portions are massive, and O. M. G. the food is all so beautiful and absolutely FULL of flavour! We got the Set meal so we got to try a variety of items and despite how full we were we couldn't help but order some baklava anyway! 100% from me, definitely coming here over and over!

Update: he brought out tea with the Baklava because he's just that awesome

One of the best Lebanese food I have tried. Their freshly baked bread was just awesome. The food was delicious and so were their drinks. Must try PARAMOUNT SPECIAL in drinks session. The Desert was fresh and amazing. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that we came to enjoy the food and they were looking to get us out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. I can understand that the restaurant closes at 9 PM we were also looking to get out by 9 PM but one should not look to get their customers to finish their food quickly so that they can close their restaurant. In every restaurant that I have been to, they patiently wait for their customer to finish the food, the only thing they would do is inform the customer that the kitchen is about to close. Also, there was a chef/Owner of a restaurant along with me and he said, if this was in his restaurant he would have had many calls by morning. The second reason is that the manager nor the person who was waiting at our table did not have any idea about the desert. When I asked the difference, he could not explain. Even when we asked the manager he could not explain. However keeping all this aside, I would still go and again and would recommend others to go as the food is just amazing. Maybe our timing was bad. Hopefully, we will have a better time in the future.

I recently dined at Sahara in Edmonton and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The decor was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The menu had a great variety of options and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the beef shawarma wrap and the baklava for dessert. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable. Food was so good I didn't take pictures haha. I highly recommend Sahara to anyone looking for a great meal in Edmonton. Five stars all around!
