This place is literally some of the yummiest food I’ve ever had and the lady that owns the restaurant is so kind. I normally don’t leave reviews but this food was so good it made me want to.

I usually do not leave reviews, but this place is amazing. Truly do not understand how the reviews are not 4.8+. This is the best middle eastern food that I have had in Cleveland and the service, time, and quality is top notch. My absolute favorite lunch spot in the area!!

This place was excellent! I haven’t been able to eat Mediterranean food since being diagnosed with both a sesame and dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt, butter) allergy. The lady inside was extremely accommodating to my allergies and let me know what I could and could not order based on that. She also was willing to alter the ingredients on the pita I ordered so I’d be able to have it. She was also very lovely to chat with and we had a wonderful conversation about her business. The meal itself was still warm when I got home and tasted great! I got the chicken pita wrap which was my favorite. The samosa was a bit spicy for me but I ate it regardless. Will be coming back!

This is one of our favorite takeout spots! The food is always consistent and delicious. And if you’re a fan of spicy food, you have to try their hot sauce. Also, the folks who work there are always so nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the food! Falafels were great and the service was absolutely fantastic. The lady on the front was so welcoming and caring that it was more pleasant eating inside the restaurant. Come here if you love Mediterranean food!

It is a tough call for which is more incredible between the actual food or the Staff.

I ate here weekly while working DownTown for 2 years. Everything on the menu is above standards and expectations.

Excellent, excellent food. Stopped in because it was close to my hotel and had good reviews. So glad I did. Had the falafel plate and it was 10 out of 10 amazing

Food was so bad. Meats we got were obviously reheated from day before and dry. Sauces sucked. White sauce was just a mayo and their hot sauce is basically tomato sauce. The cheese maneesh had pizza cheese and the zaatar didn’t not taste right at all.

Fantastic and quick service. Owner/chef very engaged and helpful regarding gluten free options. Asparagus salad special was perfect. Fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend for vegetarian and gluten free options.

Nice little spot for lunch or breakfast with delicious, flavorful shawarma! I had the chicken shawarma pita and it was excellent, loved the homemade hot sauce that came with it. Service was very friendly. The space has a couple tables and a long window bar sweating if you want to eat in. Looks like it has a patio, not sure if they put tables out there when it warms up. Found a new favorite lunch spot...I will be back.

Zaytoon Lebanese Kitchen is a golden gem for great breakfast and lunch favorites! The minute I walked in I was met with a smile and fast service! I researched this place and I quickly found out why it’s rated very high!

I ordered the Large Fatoosh Salad w/Chicken Shawarma (also offer smaller size). My order was ready in no time and the generous portion of chicken was steaming hot (see the video) atop a huge bed of fresh salad greens and delicious seasoned pita chips that were perfectly paired.

The chicken was rustically lightly seasoned and was cut in pieces that you didn’t have cut again. The salad greens were super fresh and crisp alongside nice bite size pieces of cucumbers, radish, green peppers and onion.
Their salad dressing is sunny, citrusy and really wakes up your salad. They also have a hot salsa. Surprisingly the salsa was not a bit watery like most other places! It was a perfect blend of vegetables and spices. It was nice and pulpy and I loved it in part of my salad. These are all made in house daily!

Tried Beef Shawarma but the meat wasn’t good at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place for Beef Shawarma platter.

This is Mediterranean fast food. Bowl style is similar to Chipotle but with an Alladins eatery style food in it. For me tastes were too plain and I wanted more spice or dressings in it.

Solid hummus and falafel. Very good fries. The woman who took my order was very nice.

Cute and clean space with amazing staff and great bowls. One of my consistent go-tos in the neighborhood. Adore the friendly employees, and feel like there’s enough variety on the menu to never be bored with options. Always recommend this spot to visitors looking for a quick bite!

I’ve been daydreaming about this food since I left Cleveland. Hoping to visit again soon because it was so fresh and flavorful! I’m usually a sauce person and I ordered the Boaz dressing for my bowl, but didn’t even use it because the bowl was already so delicious.

Asked the owner to recommend something for me to try, and with 30 years of experience, she helped me out. The KEFTA was very delicious! Sadly, Idon't live closer, or I would definitely become a regular!!

Really great, fresh food on the go and at an affordable price. But they should definitely include (or at least offer you) bread with your meal! Usually Lebanese spots include it so I didn’t think to ask until I got home and saw. Otherwise top notch.

Ordered from them twice last week. Prices are a little more expensive than similar establishments but the quality is pretty good. I enjoyed everything I ate. However, on my visit today I was scolded for using their restroom and not ordering anything. I explained I had just ordered last week but was told I needed to order something today. I will not be returning.

Great fresh food, and fresh juices. Love the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Great customer service as well.

Food was pretty on point - only thing is I wished the hummus was served warm. The we got beef shawarma and falafel and they were both very good. The toppings tomatoes and cilantro (?) were fresh as if they were recently cut. Overall very filling and affordable

This review is specifically for their breakfast sandwich on Sourdough bread served during breakfast. This sandwich is beyond doubt, amazing, cheesy and delicious and left me longing for another trip to be able to consume this again. The quality was sustained on the second visit and I would highly recommend trying their breakfast options if you are in the area during the times they are open.

Friendly staff, decent number of options on menu, and delicious food! Hardly any wait to order, and the food was ready very quickly. Cute little restaurant and a great one to support because it's local instead of the typical chains that populate Uptown.

Waiter was very nice. Falafel wrap was yummy! Fries were thin, fresh cut... Very good, but a touch on the greasy side. One minor complaint was that the salt was too coarse for the salt shaker, so we had to remove the lid to get it to come out.. We took home spinach and feta pies which were fantastic just heated in the microwave. We also grabbed a few pieces of decent sized baklava, and a bowl of lentil soup which were all very good. This is definitely one of my favorite stops in University Circle for a quick bite to eat.
