This review is for FRONT DESK only...
So i called in and ask for an appointment and told them i have Ontario healthy smiles card as well...
Front desk told me yes we do accept Ontario Healthy smile card and there is no problem..then i asked that i want an appointment with one of the specialist( i did not knew that there exist two types of dentist) - front desk said thats fine and booking was done..
On the day of appointment when i went there from brampton to scarborough , front desk told me if you WISH TO SEE A SPECIALIST , HEALTHY SMILES CARD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, ONLY INSURANCE .
and i am like are you kidding me , why you not told me this thing when i booked an appointment...and i asked who talked to me on the phone and sending me mesaages - all three staff members said - IT WAS NOT ME ..well i guessed it so...
So not happy at all with this...they should have told me everything ...but i guess its a booby trap as well...once a patient is here they might go ahead and pay out of pocket..but not me ladies...
They love to upsell, especially if you have insurance. They seem to stretch 1 appointment into 2. It's always your going to have to come back so we can complete your work.
In my experience, this is an unhygienic and unprofessional dental clinic. While my hygienist was cleaning my teeth with sharp implements, the dentist was showing her funny videos on their phone, distracting her. The dentist had gloves on while they did this, and thereafter stuck the gloved hands in my mouth without changing gloves or washing hands. It's absolutely disgusting.
I’m really disappointed In my experience with Parkway Dental Clinic. They were incredibly insensitive to my family during our intake appointment for my young child. They failed to provide an adequate assessment of my dental needs and not only was the receptionist incredibly disorganized but the dental specialist himself was also insensitive and unprofessional. This clinic cares most about the cost of procedures and making money rather than the quality of there line of work and professionalism.

Had fillings done during multiple appointments. Most of the fillings were good, however my most recent filling done in June was a nightmare. Pain was unbearable and just over 2 months later and my filling popped right off randomly while in a meeting.
Not happy with how they do fillings. I’ve been going to parkway for many years. I’ve had fillings done by an older male Dr who was very nice and patient but his fillings always had a weird texture or were noticeable feeling in my mouth. I don’t want to be ageist, but I think his age may be impacting his ability to see properly and keep a steady hand. The most recent time I had a female dentist, she seemed impatient and frustrated. She kept make remarks to the hygienist that concerned me and make me anxious. She was also explaining/talking to me while drilling my mouth, I told her I couldn’t hear her over the drill but she just continued. Those fillings also don’t feel right. I also had pain the from injection site for over 3 weeks and still going. I never experienced this before. The dental hygienist who do the cleanings are usually very good and the receptionists have always been nice to me. I have no proof, but I feel like the more insurance coverage you have, the more they try to add to your bill.
I went to this dental office for a few years and had a terrible experience. I was given poor advice that led to more problems in the long run. During the last check-up I had here before I left, Dr. Pasch insisted I had "mini" cavities and needed more than 8 fillings. I have great dental hygiene and had never been told my teeth were in this condition by any other dentist. Not only did they exploit my trust, they tried to stretch the fillings into as many appointments as possible to make money. I ended up switching dental offices after getting the "cavities" filled and was told that my dental hygiene was perfect and that I had no cavities. Keep in mind, I had the same routine of flossing, brushing, and using mouthwash as before. I highly recommend looking for other dental offices.

Not sure why this place got a 3.6 review...I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've had cleanings, fillings, and wisdom teeth removal here and every time the service has been immaculate. I've neglected my teeth health for about 4 or 5 years so when I went back there was a lot of work but honestly they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They were friendly and patient and the price was waaaaaay better than the last place I went which charged me 400+ for a cleaning.
