Was visiting and glad I ended up here. The staff was super friendly, the food was authentic and delicious. I would highly recommend and come back.
We eat a lot of Indian food so whenever we get the chance to try out a restaurant we do!
The food, service and atmosphere at New Punjab Indian Restaurant are EXCEPTIONAL! The chef prepares everything FRESH! Their Chutneys and sauces are phenomenal and can be purchased to take home.
Do not be put off by their unassuming store front facade! If it’s your first time do not be fooled by the Indian restaurant you may notice on the right as you turn off of International Drive!
New Punjab is on the left in a modest looking store front most likely with shades drawn!
Do not order goat meat, they don't know what goat meat is. I didn't feel that food was made with passion. It was one of those orders that we gave and they made. The lady over the phone counted pennies then dollars. The sweets were excellent, meat quality was very poor. Chicken and Goat. The rest was average. They should improve in catering.
Restaurant serve Desi Food, they have lunch buffet also, food was average. They serve lunch buffet until 3:30PM and I reached at 3:35PM but they refused to serve buffet because I was late 5 minutes.
What a wonderful gem of a place tucked just off the main road. The food is amazing! Mater paneer, lamb madras, garlic naan and veg samosas cooked to perfection and eloquently served. Definitely get the garlic naan - best I've had! Service is top notch with lovely people attending to the meal. I wish I lived in Orlando, I'd make it a weekly staple to visit!
Excellent Indian Food! I ordered the Mixed Tandoori for the first time and was perfectly cooked and arrived very hot and well done. The garlic naam was a good appetizer. They have the diet coke in can or by fountain, and the fountain have free refills. The rice was good too and served plenty per person. The place is a little dark for me, I prefer more illumination. The services were good and the waiter explained to us some part of the menu. My spouse ordered the Vegetable Somosa and Chana Masala, and she said it was fine. I also see they have buffet during some time of the day. They have seat booths or tables, and maybe they can refresh the menu they give to the clients, using different print outs papers more colorful and with more photos. I also see they have a pickup option so you can order by phone, maybe Uber Eat or any other courier. If you are in the area and like to taste Indian food, it is a good place to come.
Ok let’s be honest! I came in for Lunch Buffet, we all the know food/curries isn’t freshly cooked but worth the price of course.
The least you could do is heat it up and not serve it cold please 🙏🏽
Found this little gem tucked away on international drive next to oshucks karaoke bar. Was greeted by a lovely lady and felt very welcome.

The food was absolutely delicious!!

The drinks were a good price.

The staff were so friendly!

5 star 🌟
Always good! And the Lunch buffet is the best in opinion for Indian food lovers!! Great variety for meat eaters and vegans a like. Also the buffet is super clean and is alway hot. The food is super fresh and very delicious!! I have been coming here for a while and I think they are my go to for amazing Indian dishes.
Delicious food. Incredible food. Incredibly understaffed too :/ someone work here and help these guys out. Also the Chai machine wasn't working so UNFORTUNATELY I wasn't able to try the Masala Chai. They didn't bother to tell me until 40 minutes after the fact.

That being said, the garlic Naan, Methi Malai Chicken, Lamb Tikka Masala, and the chicken samosas were INCREDIBLE. the interior is nice too.
Pretty good food. We ordered: chicken tikka masalah, chicken korma, and mutton curry, which were all good. All dishes were medium heat, which was quite mild. We ordered the mutton curry as hot, and it was delicious with the right level of spice. I would recommend a hot option if you're used to eating Indian food.

On the downside, the tandoori chicken and dhaal were bland, and so was the biryani chicken. We came here specifically for the tandoori chicken, which was okay. It came on a sizzle plate with a bed of onions and green peppers, which were still raw. The chef could have sizzled the veggies first before adding the tandoori chicken.

I don't know why Ian indian restaurant would charge for naan. That should be available for free. It's just flour and water and will get people to order more food. Each of the plates came with the option of either white basmati rice or naan. The naan is good, but I wish they offered more with the plates.

Final note, I don't understand why there's a mandatory gratuity for a party of 5 or more. The restaurant was empty, and the server did the same work as any other size party. Yet we were charged 18% gratuity, let me decide what to tip based on service and food quality.
The food is really good.
We have been in town for a short vacation, tried multiple Indian restaurants, this restaurant is probably the one we will be going back to. Staff is very friendly, and well serving as well. The quality of food is similar to the taste of food from Punjab. There is difference in food taste from Delhi and Punjab. This is more of Punjab.
💯% recommend this place!! 😍The most authentic Indian food and drinks you will ever enjoy! The people working were very friendly and happy to talk about how uniquely awesome each spice and dish etc were. The atmosphere was extremely peaceful. Just a beautiful experience overall for a perfect date and to over indulge. We have to take our 2 year old toddler with us and they made her so happy and feel special too! We are for sure happy to go back and eat way too much deliciousness♥️!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice restaurant with a well thought out interior. The papri chaat dish was a great find. Very authentic Bengali dish I’d say. The chili chicken was a great choice. The garlic and bullet naan were great and went nicely with the chili chicken.
Finding an Indian buffet is much harder to come by these days.
Orlando is a bit out of the way, but my home town has shut down its buffets since COVID and hence.
This place was one of many to choose from but the only one that offered goat. Many offer just veggie and chicken dishes and personally I prefer goat or lamb.
This place did not disappoint!
Ahmed is a very simple and humble restaurant.
The service was good and the drink refills were never requested but attended which is so appreciated!
The food was wonderful. Tons of flavor and such a beautiful assortment of veggie, vegan, chicken and meat dishes with fresh buttery Naan.
For $12.99 at lunch I truly cannot think of a better value anywhere, let alone an Indian buffet!
Cannot wait to go back.
Absolutely authentic and delicious! I found an article about this gem in a Trip Advisor online search. We decided to visit here and try it out . Definitely was worth the drive. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. The place was clean and our entire meal was so good. The spices and flavors are so different from American cuisine. We will go back and highly recommend.
