We were in the South Asian Festival and just thought of trying some food. The owner was very pushy and she kept asking us what we want to order without giving time to us to think about it.

We purchased just 1 Samosa Tikki chaat and was charged around $16.85. The portion was nothing. It was like 3 or 4 spoons. The taste was not great either.

They were the only place with no prices on their menu among all vendors.

We later checked other vendors and realized that they all had way lower prices and were not pushy.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to go to their stall or try their food.

I wish I could give them 0 stars.

To the female owner of Indian Rasoi, who was in front at Yonge- Dundas Square today. I ordered samosa chat. $16.82 for 1 samosa is no where in Canada. Tgere was no prices displayed, I couldn't imagine that one tasteless frozen samosa gonna cost almost $17.

And learn respecting your employees, Yelling at your employees not gonna increase your sale.

Zero hygienic... please avoid this restaurant in future.

YOU DON'T DESERVE A SINGLE STAR.
I had a wonderful experience at Bombay Chowpatty! The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, capturing the essence of Indian street food. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommended!
Remember those beautiful evenings at Chowpatty? This place takes you back right there. As you enter, the experience begins with the aromatic whiff of butter and Indian spices. An artistically designed interior sets the stage for your experience. I ordered for the Pav Bhaji and it tasted amazingly well! I washed it down with a Falooda and then ended the meal with sweet pan. It was a beautiful experience and the staff there are out to make sure you're having a good time!

I would happily recommend this place to anyone I know!

Pav Bhaji - The buns were fluffy but a little dry, white bread meant it had a slight sweetness that goes well together with the savory veggie gravy, that was well spiced with Indian masala and based on potatoes. Served with raw onions and carrots.
Exceptional experience at Bombay Chowpatty. The cuisine was superb. The staff were attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience!
Great experience. Service and food was top notch.. would revisit for sure. Lasooni cauliflower, although tasted nice but had less of garlic flavor. Soya chaap was as described mild and creamy but nicely complimented the other dishes. Samosa chat was amazing.
I was so excited to have Vada Paav here in Toronto, but it looks worst after opening the box. The Vada looks cooked in the morning and microwaved and given. The breads were looking old too as it was breaking. Really didn't like it and it was below the expectations.
Loved all the food we had every time we've come here! Sooooooo delicious! Highly recommend the eggplant fries, the signature cauliflower dish, and Leela's chicken. Everything was spiced really well. Some amazing vegetarian friendly dishes on the menu. The restaurant has a fun vibe, a great patio, and nice and attentive servers as well. Thanks for the great service, Raj! Looking forward to coming back soon.
Best Indian restaurant in town. Honestly have been here twice, tried different dishes and have not found anything I didn’t like. For the quality of the food, the price is actually very very good. Another thing is that they have so many good vegetarian dishes, so if you have friends that are vegetarians, definitely bring them here. I don’t know how their lasooni cauliflowers and eggplant fries are so addictive. I would recommend everyone to bring their friends and family here for all different occasions. Our server was Raj. He was very friendly and efficient on taking orders. I would say the service is beyond expectations for a little street food bar.

Their papri chaat was lacking tamarind sauce and spiciness. Their sugar cane juice was alright. I didn’t like how we were lured into eating with them by the girl in the front who practically enforces you to grab the menu and look at it. Overall I wouldn’t come here for papri chat maybe just sugar cane juice. Also they were fighting with the next door business which was unprofessional.

Mamtaji's spirit is enough. The food is bonus 💝
We've driven a good 300 miles to get her food and the yoghurt she prepares with such devotion

Even for take out to enjoy back at our place, it was tasty.

We ordered gol gappa and daho fuchka. Both tastes good but price seems little high in comparison to other shops in that area.
Ordered a pani puri and vada pav
Pani puri was okeyish
Vada pav was yummy - but had to wait a lot for the vada pav

Management is fine.
I can say that they can improve more on dealing with customers
All in all it was a nice experience

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this authentic Indian restaurant, and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the aroma of fragrant spices. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home.

Now, onto the food - let me tell you, it was exceptional! I started off with the Amritsari kulcha, which was stuffed with a delicious mix of paneer and spices. It was served with a side of chana masala that complemented the kulcha beautifully.

Next up was the halwa poori, a classic North Indian breakfast dish. The poori was deep-fried to perfection, and the halwa (a sweet pudding made with semolina, sugar, and ghee) was the perfect accompaniment. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of richness.

The pani poori and aloo tikki chat were delicious as well.

Finally, for dessert, I indulged in the kulfi - a creamy, frozen dessert that is a specialty of Indian cuisine. The kulfi had a rich, almond flavor.

Overall, I can confidently say that this restaurant truly captures the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes are bursting with flavor, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is perfect for a cozy meal with family and friends. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and trying out their Amritsari kulcha, halwa poori, pani poori, and kulfi - you won't be disappointed!
