We were really hungry when we arrived in the village. We wanted something to it before joining a tour group.
The people here looked after us and went out of their way to accommodate us.
The food was very delicious and had great flavours (and I can cook well). Wait time was fine.
Nicely decorated interior. In my view, the prices are reasonable.
If I ever visit Merzouga again, Nora would be my first choice.

Very good ambience, very good berberi musics, very yummy berberi's meals. All was great 👍👍
We went for lunch and the food was not very good. Very oily ribs, the Moroccan salad was mostly onion, and the kids had very oily pizza. They were nice, but I would not go back. We just had dinner at the Riad Ali and the place was superb.

Very relaxing experience, food is made fresh from time of order. Sit in peace, enjoy some nice tea, and await your delicious Berber Pizza. They bring the pizza out for you to see before they slice it up. Please note, for Americans, this pizza is not your traditional cheese pizza. Instead, it is filled like a calzone with meat and vegetables cooked to perfection.

We just tried Berber pizza and it was amazing. Our guide told us they make everything fresh when people show up, so it took them a long time to prepare food, but it was so delicious and fresh! So tasty. Our children that don't eat vegetables devour the pizza all at once.
In the end they brought beautifully cut fruits and tea.
Highly recommend stopping here for lunch if you're visiting Merzouga and Gnawa Musicians.
Delicious food, cosy atmosphere and great views.
Excellent location for drinking tea, view of the dunes around and the crowded street. If this review was useful to you, please leave a like.

Ottima location per bere un tè, vista sulle dune intorno e sulla affollata strada. Se questa recensione vi è stata utile lasciate un like .

After, a week of seeking a good cuppa Joe, we found it here! If you're missing an Americano or a cappuccino, look no further. This was the best coffee we had between Azrou and Khemliya but, even better? The Berebere omelette. Succulent, savory, well-spiced, we loved this dish, and never found one as good again during our remaining weeks in Morocco. The dusty road and endless sound of 4-wheelers dubs the mood but the food was fantastic and a great value.
The best place in Merzouga I could find! Amazing tajine and berber omelet!
I came here for a breakfast and I liked their Berber style Omelette which came with egg cracked over boiling tomato sauce on a hot tagine and tasted similar to shakshuka. It was served with a generous plate of olives and bread.

So I was happy with the food and the chill atmosphere on the terrace, especially after the overnight bus ride from Fes to Merzouga.

What I was most impressed though was an honest act by a staff there.

I was greeted into the restaurant by one man. When I finished my plate and wanted to make the payment, I did so with another man (I think). I got the accurate change. Later, a few minutes after walking out of the restaurant, a man was chasing after me on a bicycle, saying "One minute, money" At first, I assumed he was a stranger trying to hustle me and ignored him. He asked for my attention again and pulled money out of his money belt. I realized then that he was the first man who greeted me in. Then he said I paid 100 DH and I actually only needed to pay 55 DH for the food, and he tried to hand me the change of 45 DH, though I had already received it at the restaurant. I replied that I had already received it and that he should keep the money because I don't want to unfairly take extra from them. It took us a few back and forth of "You should keep this money" until he understood my point of view and said thanks. So I assume there was a miscommunication between the staff for him to chase after me to return the change. Regardless, I was very touched by the effort he made to be honest with his customer like this. It made my day 🙂
Best place to take the famous picture! And the prices for a coffee or a short meal is pretty fair.

Very delicious food. Everything is exceptional including their hand written leather menu. Enough parking space. Family friendly.

Tired the pizza which was excellent. The service and vibe was excellent. Tried meat pizza which was good. Ordered vegetarian pizza aswell which was nice also.
The meal includes big salad, tea and fruit dessert in the desert 🏜

Forgot to say the menu is written in leather.
What an amazing happy accident! We were driving around after having ridden camels to see the sunrise and came upon this wonderful place. Berber pizza and the house rice salad were phenomenal. Must come while visiting Merzouga!!

This place needs to win some awards!! Stopped in for lunch, and I wanted to go back the minute I left!
The decor and atmosphere is fun without being too stimulating. I could enjoy my meal while looking out into the desert.
I chose this place to have my first Berber pizza, and it was so good, it’s going to be the only place I get berber pizza!
Clean facility, including the bathrooms. Friendly staff. No rush to finish my food and leave, and the tea was delicious!
Highly recommend this place to everyone who will listen to me!

Good cafe/restaurant for food and drinks. Espresso was excellent, morrocan salad and the chicken kefta/skewer was good. Real chips/fries. There is no aircon but for sports guys/girls, we saw them screening football on TV.
