From start to finish everything went smoothly and efficient. I was referred to Home Design from a neighbor, for managing our kitchen remodel. I was pushing it off b/c I’ve heard the stories of everything going wrong and things getting delayed with other remodel companies. This was NOT the way with Home Design. Mark was my designer and he was very fast and attentive. Within an hour of meeting them for a consultation, Mark had provided me a rendering of my kitchen remodeled. He was really patient with me when I had ideas of change, and I didn’t feel pressured at all with them. Other renovation companies like to say, sign with us within 3days, but Home Design has integrity and I never ever felt pressure. As soon as we finalized the kitchen 3d design, Mark got to work ordering our cabinets and scheduling a prompt start date. Within a week of ordering our supplies, they were at my house starting demolition. They came everyday for 2 1/2 weeks straight, they left my home clean each day, and even dealt with my curious dog popping into their work area. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Home Design. I will definetely be using them in the future. The general contractor Ebu was great at overseeing the work and the owner of the company even came out a few times unannounced to check thank everything was running smoothly. We completely gutted our kitchen and took down a wall and they finished in less then 3 weeks. Don’t waste your time with other kitchen remodel companies! Home Design is the very best! No pressure, always patient, prompt, and such a pleasure to work with. And the best part is they can do everything, not just kitchens, they build houses, so it’s a one stop shop for any of your remodel needs. Home Design finished ahead of schedule and surpassed my expectations! 5stars all the way.

Over the years, several of my Virginia-dwelling family members have used Home Design DC for their kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room remodeling projects. Knowing how pleased all of them were with the results, I was thrilled when they agreed to renovate my kitchen in suburban Maryland.

From the beginning I was impressed with their timely and clear communication. I did visit the showroom to choose countertop and cabinets materials, but everything else was handled via email, text messages or phone calls. Every time I contacted them, I received a prompt response.

I appreciated the patience I was shown with my evolving ideas and the expert advice provided every step of the way. It should be noted that we were expected to choose and provide some materials, such as appliances, a sink, faucet, tile, flooring, paint, & cabinet hardware. Their input was great, but a good chunk of the preliminary work is yours. They were also more than accommodating when changes ultimately had to be made during the process.

Once the actual project began, there was no stopping these guys! Every single day I could expect a crew to show up to accomplish another task. Unlike the contractors I know friends and neighbors have used, they never disappeared to go work elsewhere. Every worker had a tireless work ethic, and I was repeatedly contacted by my designer, Mark, to make sure I was entirely pleased with the progress.

Ultimately, all our cabinetry, several appliances, the countertop, backsplash, and ceramic floor were replaced, within the short timeframe promised. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Home Design was an amazing company to work with. We originally got quotes for our kitchen renovation from 5 contractors and before we even saw Home Design's reasonable price, we knew that they were our preferred choice. John was so responsive and came to the house the same day I requested a quote. We met Mark at their office, who went over our design and was very flexible and responsive to our questions. Once we decided to go with Home Design, the team quickly went to action and started the demo of our kitchen. We were amazed how quickly the work progressed and how clean they kept everything along the way. They started the work within 2 weeks of signing the contract and had cabinets to install 2 weeks from then. They communicated well along the way and any questions I had, they quickly answered or met me at the house the next morning to go over. Ebu was an excellent manager of the project and made sure that the quality of the project was up to their standards. We ran into one unexpected challenge and within 24 hours, Home Design had two engineering consultants look at our problem and come up with a solution very quickly. Overall, we were very pleased with the final result of the kitchen and working with Home Design. They turned our closed off alley style kitchen into an open concept with an island with seating! Floors, cabinets, counters, lighting, plumbing, and electrical were all replaced! They also installed recess lighting in our whole floor. We would definitely recommend them to any friends and family!

We recently completed our Kitchen and bar renovation. John and his team at HomeDesign were professional and responsive throughout the entire process. Cabinets were superior in quality (solid plywood construction). Prices were very competitive compared to the big box stores. After placing the order, all products were delivered before the estimated time. Also purchased Countertops. The whole process of placing the order, measurement and delivery was excellent.
