Phil and his team have just transformed our Edwardian hallway by adding the most beautiful tiled floor.
Phil’s team, notably Sam and Ged, are real grafters, skilful, conscientious, considerate, polite, and punctual. All round a very professional and friendly team.
We are delighted with the work they have done for us, which had its challenges, nothing is straight in these old houses, and would highly recommend.

Their attention to detail when installing a linear floor on an un-level and wonky hallway was second to none. They worked tirelessly during their visit and always with a smile on their faces, despite some inclement weather.
We can’t stop looking at their excellent floor and we are so pleased that we chose them.

Phil and the team were by far the easiest, cleanest, quietest contractors to come into our house! The initial help with choosing the tiles seemed an age away from getting them laid, but you don’t want someone doing this job who is available at short notice! The team worked over 6 days, delivering an amazing job. The tiles are totally even, look good in any light and the previous slight slope in the floor is gone. Would totally recommend for supply and fit of traditional Victorian tiles and anything else would be child’s play to these guys!

Putting into words just how great Phil and his team are is no easy task - a bit like our hallway floor! I did a LOT of research prior to getting quotes to make sure we found the right person for the job in our wonky Victorian house, but as soon as Phil came for a site visit, his knowledge and experience was evident and I knew he was the man for the job!
The execution of the floor is exceptional, the level of detail and quality of the finish is truly outstanding and I cannot believe the difference it’s made to the feel of our home. Worth every penny! The floor aside, the lads were just a delight to have around the house while they were working on the floor, equal measures polite, courteous, professional and also a right laugh! Shout out to Chris too who grafted over and above the hours expected on several occasions to make sure the job was finished and we could start getting the house straight again with a toddler. Another bonus for me was just how clean and tidy they left the house at the end of each day, big tick, by far the most considerate tradesmen we’ve come across in our renovation so far.
In the words of my husband, putting it politely I am a ‘very exacting woman’, something Phil would probably (definitely) agree with, and to be honest they all deserve a medal for accommodating my nit picky indecisiveness with not so much as an eye roll. Oh, and this was on top of me casually asking if he could tile the adjoining toilet floor and wall ‘while he was at it’…And of course he did!
What’s more, Phil didn’t hesitate to travel the (not insignificant) journey back to our house to reseal the floor for us, no questions asked. Honestly I couldn’t recommend them more if I tried. So much so that this is the second time I’ve written a review as I recently discovered that it didn’t register first time around! These guys deserve so much credit and I can’t thank them enough for making my Pinterest hallway floor dreams come true!

Can't say enough good things about Phil and Chris. They did an amazing job tiling the hallway and porch with such attention to detail, professionalism and care - not just in the work but care around clearing up and tidying. Little things that just make a huge difference.

They took time and care to make sure the floor was perfect - it’s created a real wow factor in our home. After some extensive research, we found The Victorian Floor Company. Phil and the team spent several days replacing our tied worn-out Minton tile floor. The results are fabulous and the heated floor they installed at the same time works beautifully. The floor has been down for several years now and it still looks like new and creates a stunning finish to the entrance and downstairs hall. We highly recommend Phil and his team for any Victorian tiled floor project you may have in mind. Thank you Phil, we love our perfectly designed and fitted floor!

My experience has been wholly positive. The Victorian Floor Company have an eye for detail and precision. I’ve just been to look at the floor he laid in my hallway some 6 months ago before writing this post. It looks amazing and worth every penny.

Ours, like most Victorian floors was quite a specialist job. I was determined to have it completed in a certain way to my specification and the company exceeded my expectations. What this very small team do not know about tiling isn’t worth knowing.

I watched them taking pride in their work and the lengths they went to to ensure each grouting line was perfect was beyond expectation.

I’ve had a lot of tiling work done in my home which has been renovated top to bottom and I only wish I’d found this team sooner because their work is superior in every way.

Just as an aside, the team are family men and I felt very safe having them in my home with the children darting about.
