Polite staff, good selection of D.I.Y. tools and supplies, may not be the cheapest but all in one place so definitely worth a visit, good for trade too.

Forgotten how good it was not been hor a few years. Great deals and looks a bit more organised than B&Q.

Decided on Wickes to design & fit our new kitchen. Phil Jones was the kitchen designer. He did a brilliant job in designing a kitchen to our specifications especially building in a seating area which was a particular priority to our needs. Lukasz did a wonderful job in the fitting of the kitchen as did Andy the electrician. All the work was carried out to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

stockport wickes manchester road is the best place for electrical gardening plumbing kitchens.they've got everything they all the time put offers . tools and equipment stuff cheaper than other places good stuff. the staff is very nice polite always helpful stuff thanks

Poor. Purchased some materials through click and collect, responded to the email prompts requesting my arrival time, gave the morning after at 9am.
It's now the morning after at 9am, and my goods aren't available to collect.
A staff member collected most of the items while I was waiting but was unable to lift, move, carry the plywood board.
I had to pick.
It was just a waste of everyone's time.
Poor.

I recently visited Half Price Items and was disappointed to find that many items in the 'half price' basket were not actually half price. After trying a few items on, I noticed that the price tags on the tails showed the original price, which was significantly higher than the discounted price advertised in the basket. I brought this to the attention of a staff member, but they seemed unconcerned and uninterested in rectifying the situation. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty when it comes to pricing, and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that Half Price Items can improve their practices to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.

Wickes doesn't have a proper control over the fitters who are contractors. My bathroom is now being installed for a fifth week (fifth week without the bathroom and with the rest of the house in disarray!) Because the fitters put in only around 2-3 hours of work a day. Yet Wickes "cannot" address this situation.
