We had ordered Pad Thai tofu, vegetable spring rolls and vegetarian Thai.
I enjoyed vegetarian Thai most of three, spring rolls were awful and pad Thai was decent.. could have added some more veggies in pad Thai
Portions were really good. They have very bigger space but somehow ambience was of like take away/ fast food type joint that’s what name suggests too.

They can do improvise and give nice touch to their interiors and can uplift the whole ambience.
Staff was decent though it’s primarily order yourself, and unlike restaurant served in disposables with disposable cutlery, so service really didn’t count.
Prices are decent enough. Place didn’t disappoint.
They have a lunch deal for 10.95 that's a main and a drink, and they don't charge an additional service charge.
The portions and taste are pretty great for the price! There's vegan options available too!
Loved it.
We went to Pitaya on The Strand twice and had very different experiences. The first time was on Boxing Day 2023 before we went to the theatre. We thought the food and experience were simply amazing. There was a lady at the door to greet us, seat us, and to explain how things worked; you order at the til or with the QR code and food is brought out staggered as it’s all cooked fresh. The food was exceptional that day. The balance of flavours in the beef rice bowl was spot on and everything was presented beautifully with a healthy portion. The soy sauce was delicate and the crunchy and colourful salad with chopped veg gave such lovely texture- all part of the dish. We went again yesterday afternoon and I ordered the same bowl. No staff at the door, which is okay, but my issue was really with the food. It was nothing like the previous time. There was a stodgy rice and too much of it, along with the veg that wasn’t cut into small pieces but lay there in think strips with lots of lettuce. The beef was cooked alright but when I mixed the bowl, there was literally a pool of soy sauce on the bottom. It covered everything and made it sticky and sweet. It was nothing like the previous experience of authentic and delicate flavours. Nice people. Good concept. But lack of consistency means I don’t trust coming back or recommending.
Fantastic foods and drinks, also great service. Staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to friends for authentic Thai food.

Good service, beautiful restaurant with okay food.
Vegan food is better labelled online, not the printed menu and when questioned, there was some confusion before confirming dishes.

Ordered the spring rolls (good) and tau hu pad pak (lacked flavour, needed more curry), with plain rice.
The jasmine tea was nice.

N. B. : It is located upstairs in the second floor of the building!

Nice restaurant with good food. We were sat up on top of the till which wasn’t great - I’m not sure why the seat even exists like they’re literally inputting orders right beside you and dealing with money.

It’s definitely not fine dining - kind of more like a family Thai restaurant. The staff were attentive and the food was tasty!

The lack of vegetarian options is very disappointing- they really need to get a tofu substitute!
You can order to your chosen table at the till or using the QR codes on the tables but the website is not the best. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. The Thai green curry was nice and spicy and you got a good portion. Wasn't a fan of the beef bobun with spring rolls as it wasn't to my taste. The fillings for the spring rolls were a bit mushy and the bobun beef wasn't tender. If you need to use the toilet, you have to ask for a code for the door which takes you to a stainless steel bowl with no seat. Overall the food was good and the tables were clean and well stocked with packaged cutlery and napkins.
Overall, food is just ok. They need to know that any Thai food will be INCOMPLETE without bird eye chilli and fish sauce.

What I am not that pleased, is the service. One of the waitresses looks “very unhappy and grouchy” to serve or even to take order.

Cute but extremely crowded restaurant in the heart of Soho. The food is unique and tasty but very spicy (especially the laap) and small portions. The house ginger and turmeric lemonade was really nice and just the right sweetness, but the £4.50 for a small diet Coke was a little bit steep... The glass noodle dish is their specialty but I personally thought it was their least interesting dish and I barely (if at all) tasted the crab, it was just a massive portion of noodles.

Had to wait just over 30min for two spaces for lunch - and boy, was it worth it! Tried pretty much everything on the menu. All excellent. Highly recommend the ginger cocktail, too. Fantastic atmosphere, at the bar, watching the delicious food being made, right in front of you. What a treat this was ♡♡♡

The spicy is real, really spicy. Love the grilled chicken, very juicy. Stir fry greens is very salty, better eat with rice. The noodle is really delicious, no wonder it is the most popular/top recommended dish.
This chain has some of the best Thai food I've had in London. Highly recommend their chicken satay, Penang curry and the sea bass in lemon grass and lime.

The Thai iced coffee and Thai iced tea were also great.

Service was lovely.
Fantastic high end Thai food. Authentic and presented really well, the Beef Cheek Panang Curry being a particular stand out with ultra soft beef and creamy curry. The Satay and Calamari were also both excellent. Quick, friendly and attentive service throughout.

Not going to lie: we were actually this close to leaving before being seated (more like given a standing spot by the bar). We were craving Thai for our last meal in London so we stopped by, and the atmosphere was nothing like we expected: loud, lively to the point of chaotic, incredibly crowded, and more reminiscent of a bar or club. Nothing wrong with that, of course, as we enjoy our party scenes, but certainly surprising. The hostess asked us to wait a bit and while we did for over 20 minutes, she and other servers were greeting friends coming in. We were getting impatient as others were being seated, but eventually we were directed to the end of the bar.

With that being said, the food was excellent. Thai food is often whitewashed and "safe," but Kiln definitely does an incredible job with its authentic street style dishes. The laap sausage was light and delicious, and all the meats are cooked to perfection and enhanced with spices and garnishing. Expect the food to be truly spicy, so be aware if you cannot handle it. Likewise, the portions aren't huge, as you're expected to order a bit of everything.

Overall still a good experience, but not the cheapest meal, and expect a bit of a wait during peak hours.

The place and food were good. However, the service was very straightforward, the waitresses just asked about what we wanted to eat without offering any details about the food, and also one of them came to ask us if we have a table booked in advance when we were already seated drinking. Apart from that, nothing relevant to say, I can recommend the place because the food was very good

Every dish at this restaurant is incredibly distinctive. The Teriyaki chicken is remarkably tender, almost indistinguishable from its poultry origins. The hot pot rice noodles are also unique, they are quite delicious. Additionally, other items like vegetable salad are also very tasty.

An authentic, hearty Thai experience. I was here with a mate for dinner. Our starters consisted of pork skewers ( Moon Ping) which was rich and loaded with sauce, and veggie tempura which was impeccably cooked. Following that, I had Prawns Pad Thai, delicious and filling, whilst my friend had stir fry chicken/veggie with egg fried rice. Thai iced tea was delicious. Service was quick and efficient. My server was helpful and professional.
Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here.
yummy halal Thai food in central London.
We tried their basil chicken with rice, pad thai and chicken tom yum.
The basil chicken is very comforting, and tasty.
The tom yum is one of the best in London. not too sour, rich with flavour.
The service is relatively fast and the atmosphere is lovely.
Recommended.
Almost a home away from home where Thai cuisine is at. Pretty authentic with dialled down spiciness. Had the Padthai and it was laden with prawns. Good taste though a bit sweeter than expected.

The starter plate has siew Mai which is not Thai, and the crispy duck was a nice mix of Chinese style-just that it was a bit dry/hard. The sate peanut sauce was a little bland and missing the spiciness.

Overall good experience, great service, and nice ambience.

Ideally located in the lane where the great fire London started. he food and drink is fantastic. Really high quality. The service was fantastic as was the atmosphere. Really great evening. Do be aware that it is not a cheap option but it is of a very high quality so, if you can afford it, then it's certainly worthwhile

Great place, great food and good service. The place is a bit snug for us on the chunkier side, but that didn't stopped me to have a great time. the interactive tables are so much fun!!!! We also did the make your own sushi dragon... highly recommend it!
Outstanding taste and value for money. The food caters to many with a halal menu, a vegan menu, express menu and a brunch weekend special. The Bali Pork Belly (£8.50) came with four pieces of perfectly cooked - crunchy exterior, juicy and tasty interior - pork smothered in a sweet soy sauce. The Green Curry (£14.50) was fresh and full of flavour with a generous side of sticky rice. The Pad Thai Pawn was equally tasty with a good balance of peanut, shrimp and noodle. The service was friendly, efficient and proactive fully earning the optional 12.5% service charge. The interior and vibe is lively and buzzy. A convenient, laid back spot for tasty Asian food close to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street.
Freshly made and tasty food. First time visited the place, helpful staff. Food is halal, which was cherry on top! Ordered tom yum soup and sweet&sour chicken. It was super crowded, but food is made from scratch. Do visit once!
Did we all go to the same place? If you want below average Thai food you’d enjoy this. Nothing was bad but nothing was particularly good either, and for £14/£15 per main, there’s tons of better places to go. We ordered a variety of starters and dinners and everything was a let down. Even the cocktails, which even though tasty, barely tasted alcoholic and aren’t served traditionally. Also service wise, it was insanely average and we had to flag down our waiters for almost everything, even to get the plates taken away. Only pro is the decor is great. 3/5 would not recommend.

A Taste of Authentic Thai Grill in the Heart of London

Nestled in the bustling heart of Soho, Kiln is a remarkable Thai grill restaurant that offers an authentic culinary experience reminiscent of the vibrant street food culture in Thailand. It's one of London's hidden gems, catering to those with a penchant for Thai cuisine that transcends the usual offerings. Kiln sets itself apart as a small, unassuming venue with a unique twist on dining, offering a memorable experience that is a delightful alternative to traditional restaurants.

Atmosphere and Ambiance:
Kiln's cozy interior is characterized by its compact size, making it an ideal choice for an intimate dining experience. However, it's worth noting that booking a table for a group is limited to the downstairs area. For those who prefer a more spontaneous dining experience, there's a walk-in option. The popularity of Kiln often results in a queue, but the wait is absolutely worth it. The counter seating provides a front-row view of the bar and the bustling kitchen, allowing you to witness the chefs skillfully preparing your dishes. The use of hot coals in clay pots and flaming woks is a captivating sight that adds a layer of authenticity to the dining experience.

Menu and Food:
Kiln's menu, though not extensive, is a testament to the culinary creativity of the team. The offerings are constantly evolving, ensuring a fresh and exciting dining experience every time you visit. This commitment to variety and innovation reflects the dynamic nature of Thai cuisine. The wine selection mirrors this ethos, with an ever-changing list that complements the dishes perfectly.

The food at Kiln is a true celebration of flavor. The dishes are characterized by a delicate balance of spices and an array of high-quality ingredients, some of which are sourced locally in the UK. While the menu might not be vast, each dish tells a unique story, and you can instantly sense the thought and care that have gone into their preparation. The noodles and the chicken and sausage dish were standouts, showcasing the chef's dedication to delivering dishes that are both tasty and authentic. It's worth noting that the cuisine at Kiln leans towards the spicier end of the spectrum, so be prepared for a flavorful adventure.

Ambiance and Service:
The restaurant is bathed in low lighting, creating an intimate atmosphere that perfectly complements the culinary experience. The slight haze from the grill and the background soundtrack transport you to a different world, enhancing the feeling of escaping to the bustling streets of Thailand. The attentive and friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are more than willing to help with any questions you may have. The prices are fairly reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the unique experience Kiln offers.

In conclusion, Kiln is a hidden gem in the heart of London, offering an extraordinary Thai dining experience that transcends the ordinary. It's a place for those who appreciate authenticity, flavor, and a bit of spice in their life. With its small size, constantly changing menu, and commitment to quality, Kiln provides a culinary journey that's worth every moment of your time. So, if you're looking to "fly outside Europe" through your taste buds, Kiln is the perfect destination. Just be prepared to wait in line – the experience that awaits is well worth it.

Great food and service. Even though we are in our seventies we enjoyed playing the games. Food was very quick to arrive. I suggest you order just one or two dishes at a time. The instant we pressed the button for assistance a member of staff came. Would recommend this as a pre-theatre dinner as it is an 8 min walk to the Apollo Theatre to see The Time Travellers Wife as we did.
A lovely place to visit for Thai food.

Plenty of options on the menu, including for vegetarians. The curry was flavoursome and they had one of the best tasting mocktails I’ve ever had! Service was quick and friendly although we had to wait a bit of time to pay.

With a starter, main and drink, we paid about £45-50 each - so expect a higher price than your standard Thai restaurant.

Would recommend.

I would not recommend this place - much nicer restaurants for a similar price in the area. Spice levels inconsistent. My friend and I ordered dishes that were both “two chillies” heat level. Hers was good, my beef stir fry so hot that I could barely eat it. The beef was also extremely chewy.

We were gifted the bottomless sushi as a Christmas present. I did read the reviews before we went and so was already expecting to be disappointed and very much was. The restaurant is very dark. The staff member showed us to our table and explained how the screens worked. She then left us to it and when I say that I wanted to smash the screen through frustration...!!! I could not scroll down to the bottom of the menu without accidentally opening up a food item. The bottomless menu is quite limited. We ordered 6 dishes as suggested. I wanted a tap water which wasn't on the menu so used the 'call service' button twice but nobody came. Eventually I managed to call someone over but that defeats the point of the feature. Once your food has arrived, you have to push all the plates out of the way in order to use the screens again. We tried playing ping pong but the lag was too delayed so that was pointless. As it was a paid for gift and the restaurant had the voucher code, we got up to leave at which point the waiter said there is usually a service charge..... What service?!

Quality of food was below average, we enjoyed the Szechuan chicken but that was pretty much it. Was most looking forward to the pork belly but that was 'unavailable'.

*food has been eaten, this is not how they looked when they arrived!!*

Went here last night with a friend, I’m vegan, he’s not, I was impressed!
Highly recommend spring rolls and the aubergine curry, both 10/10!

The weeping tiger soy dish was a nice flavor but terrible consistency - so tough! The pad Thai was honestly absolutely rubbish, no flavor at all, but was okay when I mixed the noodles with the aubergine curry sauce.

Davide, the Sicilian server, was super nice! Attentive and friendly!

Had the afternoon tea option. Prebooked this with a voucher. The food was fast, and the bang bang cauliflower was really good. Would have been helpful to run through what was what. Mint tea was just hot water, which considering was the drink option with the afternoon tea it was poor. The rest of the food was a bit average. The puddings were nice again. I had no idea what was what, staff not about to explain. Table was fun while waiting.
Every single time I come to the restaurant I love all the food , service and stuff
Food 10/10
Stuff amazing friendly 10/10
Service 7/10 late
But overall great, I keep this restaurant on my list when I come from dubai to London

Loved it! Nice "hidden room" vibe in the downstairs dining room.....with great service and top qualify Thai food - genuinely first class! The soup was amazing (how they get those zingy flavours is unbelievable). Other stand out dish for me was the mutton tartare - wow! Not as spicy/ hot as Speedboat, but perhaps a classier vibe. Both great.

Basic.
Honestly nothing special! We went for dinner with some friends and 2 out of the 3 plates that I have ordered it was not available (no ribs, no duck breast). My rice bowl with pork was pretty basic, nothing exceptional or flavourful.
Pad Thai was ok (maybe there were 3-4 prawns in it).

Service is very slow, we have been asked for drinks and no one has taken the food order for over half an hour. Food arrived slowly al well and as soon as served we were told pretty much immediately that the kitchen was closing - taking into consideration that we had a reservation for 8PM and that the kitchen closes at 10PM, you can imagine how slow and inefficient the service was.

Lastly: the do not take Amex! Be aware that there is no sign or anything that states that, so you will find out only when you will pay. Unprofessional!
Putting aside my personal opinion, that Busaba is a big Company and not the chicken shop around the corner, you should inform customers of your payment restrictions.
I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. Maybe we went there for one of the particularly bad days? But it was one of the worst foods I’ve had in ages. Seaweed (Wakame) salad was disgrace with discoloured, over-hydrated wakame and poor flavours. Somehow the side dish kimchi fried rice was served with the starter and did taste very stale. Beef in the rendang was very hard. Laksa and pad Thai tasted really not fresh. I think food can really be subjective to people’s taste and given it’s Asian food, I really wished I’d loved something, but nothing there seemed to have a good taste. I wouldn’t go there for food, it’s just not worth it.
Loved the food & the cocktail & the dessert. The Singapore Noddles is one of the best that I have had, and the pancakes with cinnamon icecream was too good to skip though you are full from the noodles. The cocktails had the right kick and was refreshing.
I went there on a lunch break with a colleague and it was the most disappointing lunch I’ve had in the area.
The service was so cold and I found them to be really rude so there was nothing to make up for the poor quality of food.
The calamari was inedible so we sent it back and they brought us back another portion even though we said we didn’t want it. It was slightly more edible the 2nd time but we only ate one piece as was still horrible; they charged us for it and no one mentioned anything or asked us how meal was

I promise you’ll be disappointed, just avoid- so many fantastic options in the area!

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Not a lot of fussing from the staff but they are around and attentive to needs which creates a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
The food is so flavorsome and rich without being heavy at all. The calamari was particularly delicious.
Will definitely back again soon!
Came here on a weekday for an early lunch with a work colleague. I ordered a Chilli Basil with Chicken and requested chilli's on the side. Unfortunately when my meal arrived they had chilli's on the side but it had chilli's cooked throughout and there was barely any chicken included. Upon bringing this to the attention of the staff they got my meal remade.

Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet due to the time we were there but I can imagine it's quite a buzzing atmosphere during peak times.

What an absolute treasure of a find. Was looking for a pre theatre Thai meal and googled this gem. The staff were friendly and attentive. The service quick and food freshly cooked. Price was very reasonable for soho. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend the sea bass. Deffo eat here again 😃😃
This is a great spot for some good Thai food. The panang curry and broccoli with shiitake mushrooms was delicious! Service is not that good. Try to avoid the lunch/dinner rush to get better service especially if you’re trying to go and see a show! Try and find a spot that’s not underneath the air conditioning - the food gets cold too quickly.
Fantastic place to eat Thai food, both service and food were on point! It is out first time here but we will definitely come back. We liked it so much that we suggested to the team (Napoleon) to open a branch in Canary Wharf!

We ordered tom kha gai (chicken and mushroom soup with coconut), prawn lemongrass salad and beef Thai basil chilli with egg fried rice.

All dishes were flavourful with good presentation and the service by Napoleon was friendly, professional and attentive.
Attracted by the exterior decoration at the entrance and the distinctive interior decor of the restaurant. They offer set menus for both lunch and dinner. The Tom Yum soup is incredibly innovative, different from what I've had in Thailand or the UK, and it's quite spicy with a lot of chili oil. The appetizers and main courses are decent but not exceptional, with the chicken cashew curry in the main course having a very Chinese-style taste. Overall, the food is average, service is good, and the restaurant's interior design is a plus.

It was very nice Asian restaurant. Service was very good. Enjoyable seating, reasonable price for City of London and that quality of food. Our favourite was samosa, aubergine and avocado burger. Chicken was good but the duck bun was too dry. Finishing with chocolate mouse was stunning..
I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. The staff provided excellent service from the moment I walked in until the end of my meal. The food was incredibly delicious, transporting me to Thailand despite being in London. Highly recommended!
The food here has always been upto high standard... I visited after a very long time and we were a big group of 14 and everyone loved the food. Highlights from the menu: sea bass in lemongrass sauce, lamb shank massaman curry, fish cakes, spring rolls... Can keep going!
I had bottomless brunch, the food was fresh and flavourful. Cocktails were good but the rum bucket was disappointing as it’s basically just ice, rum shoot and coke in a bucket. Pineapple pancakes was delicious.

I don’t usually like steak but I absolutely love the Charolais Ribeye steak. The seared scallops and broccoli were delicious too. I really enjoyed most of the food. The Wagyu Beef & Foie Gras Burger was a bit meh… I expected better and I found it to be quite dry. The apricot & stem ginger compote part of the vegan mess was not for me but the coconut mochi was yummy. Our waiter recommended the Clock of Roses cocktail and it was really nice. Service was 10/10. Our waiter was attentive, polite and extremely attractive. Probably one of the most attractive men I’ve ever seen.

Mber do need to do some work on their bathroom though. There’s limescale around the taps and soap dispenser; & looks like it needs a bit of an updo, or at least a deep clean. I’m not sure if the mirror was just tinted or dirty. Considering the cost of the food, and the rest of the restaurant, I was very disappointed with the bathroom. It did make me wonder if ambience is the only reason they have dim lighting.

I had read some reviews with some reviews which had low ratings recently and whilst it was ominous, we were still hoping for the best despite this. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were accurate in their concerns and the whole experience was extremely disappointing.

Food: Disappointing is the best way I can summarise it all as it wasn't great. For a sushi and tapas all you can eat, we were hoping that we could've had more of a selection as on the whole we felt that it was rather limited even though we did try most of it. The best thing on the menu were salmon, the beef and the fried chicken but they were still just okay at best.

Service: The first waiter that we had was really nice, courteous and patient with us as he explained the menu.

However, we also had one instance with a waitress who was extremely rude to us which entirely mired the experience as well as didn't make an effort to tell us when to leave, and tried to kick us out. They also didn't communicate clearly with us that we were near the end of our service and it unfortunately left a strong impression on me and my friend who filed a complaint to the manager.

Fortunately, what salvaged this situation a little was the manager who we felt handled things well so I appreciated the manager and the first male waiter as stated in the first paragraph as they both were helpful, courteous and understanding.

Atmosphere: Unfortunately, for a Friday night this was also extremely muted as well. Perhaps it was because we were sitting on the bottom floor, but it was just us and one other family when we were there. It's a shame, because this venue could've been absolutely electric.

We were hoping that we could've had a wonderful experience with the games provided and the all you can eat but this place unfortunately did not deliver that.

What a terrible place to go to.
The gimmick of interactive tables wears off quickly . The games are laggy, the table probably hardly ever cleaned is a sticky mess.
The food uninspiring and the sushi quality is quite low. The sushi and tapas set menu is a complete failure with very little variety .
That was the good part, then we come to the service - wow ! That was terrible. Never ever in my years of dining have I seen service this bad. Absolutely no personable staff. Just dump on to the table and walk away. One staff in particular, Sameeya who we had to specifically complain about was atrocious. We were made aware that she was new, however with that attitude I can't see how she got the job. She blatantly lied to our faces and then stormed off a few times swearing and muttering. The manager in charge waived the service charge, however I'd rather she have fired the lady on the spot.
Sorry, not one I would be returning to ever again.

Amazing food! Some of the best dishes I’ve ever had in London. The noodles were a stand out and full of flavor. Chicken was also some of the best cooked chicken I’ve ever had. We both love spice but be warned, the spicy soup (that they warned us about) was indeed very spicy but just soo tasty. The food was 5 stars. Unfortunately a waiter just wasn’t very nice to us and he kind of ruined the experience. The rest of the staff were lovely and the food was incredible. Sometimes people can have an off day so I wouldn’t let it stop me from going back, but I couldn’t give the overall experience 5 stars.

The most inauthentic Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The screens on the table which you order your food from do not work half the time. The menu available has barely any sushi on it! We only eat halal or fish and there was hardly any sushi with fish available. Sushi rolls were mostly rice with barely any tuna or Salmon in them and had no taste. Crispy salmon skin sushi was so stale and dry, inedible. Vegetarian dishes lacked flavour. Bang bang cauliflower is deep fried and then coated in shop bought sweet chilli sauce. Even the fries and prawn crackers were dead! Don’t know how this place is surviving really. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

The pickled lotus root was meh… the soft shell crb tempura though was amazing and so was the peanut brittle dessert. We also ordered the pork bao and the steak and sliders. The pork bao I wouldn’t mind more of, but the steak was not worth it at all…
Lovely restaurant, Food was not better than my local Thai, so although I enjoyed it, there would be no need ro travel and spend so much for so little in return. Flavours were not surpassed, presentation was not spectacular. My dish was not sizzingly as stated on menu. Slightly disappointed given the central London location. Extremely poor that you can bring your birthday cake, sing happy birthday, but cannot consume the cake on the premises.
I went here with my 2 friends for the bottomless brunch. It was fantastic! We got a 3-course meal (and the food was LOVELY) and unlimited cosmopolitans. The service was so quick, once we had finished our glass they instantly refilled it. The interior was really nice, with cool lights/plants/objects. I HIGHLY recommend, especially for bottomless brunch, you really get your moneys worth.
The environment is very nice. The food is tasty. The chi Chu Jumbo prawn is very nice. The pork neck is not bad as well but a bit sweet for me. The signature cocktail Thai Inter is nice. We also ordered the papaya salad, which tasted good. However, both of us have diarrhea after. 😂 It doesn't seem that we are compatible with food.

Amazing place!! We went Saturday night for bottomless dinner - the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are the best in London. Normally bottomless drinks are weak, but these were delicious and had a really good amount of alcohol. Our drinks were constantly topped up by the attentive and friendly staff - we didn't have to ask for a refill once! The food was delicious and authentic - and so much of it. And all this for £30 on a Saturday in London!! It sounds too good to be true but it is. We even arrived late and the kind and polite staff have us out full 90 minutes. The inside is so cute and beautifully decorated. We will be visiting every time we come to London! We loved it, thank you so much to all the staff

Had teams lunch here. Amazing Calamari and Beef ginger. They also had Pad Thai as lunch Special for £12. Instead of £14. But none of us ordered. Service could have been little bit more attentive.
Literally a bottomless brunch of dreams! Great food, amazing cocktails and such a cool vibe inside this hidden gem. The restaurant itself had awesome hanging signs as if you were inside a market, and it just got better from there. The cocktails were fantastic, full of flavour and so unique compared to some that I've seen before. The food itself was lovely and the perfect size really. I would definitely recommend a visit, as it was fab value for money too!

Came here for a meal before seeing the play that goes wrong. Food and young male waiter was amazing. Cocktails were lovely and ambiance was lovely and quite .well need when in the bustling city. Seems a little pricey but location and quality of service and food is good value for money
Always wanted to try street food and this was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint. Tried various dishes and they were all amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient and restaurant was very clean and tidy

If you're going to Theatre land and require a great tasy meal before or after your show, you can't go wrong . Book in advance and take your taste buds on a fabulous adventure. 👌 Proper cocktails 🍸 big tick 👌. We were in on a very hot Sunny 🌞 Friday lunchtime, and it was not busy. As a result, service was swift . My wife had been here before on a busy Saturday, and service was still 👍 good, hence a second visit for her. Portion size good. All dashes looked and tasted fab . Chilled ambience in the restaurant . Service charge 12.5 % . Worth every penny. Thank you for a great meal experience. Will check it out next time we are up in the Smoke. 🍸🌞👍

Every time I come to London I must stop at Busaba! This time Soho has been my favorite location by far. The calamari was the best I've had ever! Not to mention the green curry is to die for.
Nice restaurant with many food option. I went for Malaysian with some vegetables spring rolls and a Mee Goreng with vegetables and tofu. It was delicious 😋 I totally recommend

You place your order through the interactive, digital menu which is on the table. You can also use it to create digital drawings. It is a very funky idea. The food was delicious and the portions were a good size.

I would say, definitely visit if you’re looking for unlimited Japanese style cuisine and beer and for the interactive menu experience. However, it is not a place I’d visit twice as I don’t feel like it was worth the price. Especially because some of the food items had an added cost.

I actually came year a year ago for my birthday in April but kept forgetting to review. I booked for about 20 people and it was an amazing experience. The email responses for my preorder was quick and efficient. The food was amazing and the waitresses were very accommodating. They even bought out a dessert with a candle. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back soon.
Hello, fellows.
It is very interesting place. Reminded me the canteens from the former USSR :). But the difference was that the service was great and the food was excellent. Was really good surprise taking its location near a tourist spot - Oxford Street.
We came there just we were hereby but enjoyed the time and food and would definitely visit the restaurant again.
Best regards,
Rustam

So I have come here twice for work lunch. Both times I did have a 4 star experience.

I have had way better, and even authentic, Thai food elsewhere. The chili prawn fried rice is very good. The soyamari appetizer can be good if you are a vegan. The curries are just okay.

I am not a fan of the concept of sharing tables and at Busaba this is expected. The wait staff once did get confused on which guys around the table are in our party.

I wouldn’t say the food was Thai-rrific.

For a Charlotte Street restaurant location, I guess I expected better. That said, it was ‘ok’. The service was pleasant though.

We had a very watery Massaman Curry. I love a rich taste with this curry type and also a thicker sauce. This was very much the opposite. The pad Thai was also ‘ok’. It’s not expensive as such. We paid £29 for two dishes plus rice & a sparkling water.

I visited Thai Tho with a mate for dinner and was happy with the choice. The restaurant is very conveniently located just off of Shaftsbury Avenue and has a fairly large dining area. We found it wasn't too busy and was able to get a seat having no reservation. The food was very good and portion sizes were more than adequate. Prices are fair for its location. The ambiance of Thai Tho is very good with a modern feel of bold reds set against neutral greys with flowers and natural wood ornaments. Staff were friendly and did not rush you through your meal. For a relaxed meal, this is a good place to visit.

Amazing place, brilliant food, kind and fast service, good atmosphere. We waited only for 10-15 minutes, and our order was ready and delicious. The music wasn't too loud and fit perfectly to the place and created its atmosphere. I really recommend visiting 👌

One of the few restaurants that are really worth it in London! We just walked in on a Saturday, no wait. The pineapple rice is A MUST. Also lovely Thai milk tea ❤️

It’s quite nice here. They’ve got lovely and respectful staff.
Perfect for a dinner night with friends and colleagues.

Price is fair. You should be able to spend up to £15 for a three course meal with dessert.

I highly recommend.

Food was not really Thai, maybe pan Asian. Quality of products isn’t good. Soup was ice cold. Service wasn’t good at all; they did not smile once. She spilled the soup on the table and when we pointed it out she ignored us.
Birthday date dinner. Very nice place, great atmosphere and nice interior decor. The service was a bit slow for some unforeseen circumstances in the kitchen but they offered us a drink to apologize. Nice address for Thai food in Camden.
I have been here for the second time and sadly it wasn't at all the level I had the first time. The food was still good but the first time I felt I had one of the best curries ever. On the other hand, the coconut rice was excellent.

The place looks lovely but unfortunately it can be quite loud if there are any groups.

Following the recommendation we decided to try this Pan Asian restaurant called MBER! Place is situated near monument station and is underground!! There are I think three different rooms, one main one and other two small ones so one’s can hire for a small party if required. There are no starters or main courses all come as a small dishes - tapas like style! Nice selection of teas or wines! This is not a cheap restaurant for each small plate you could pay from 12- up to 19 £ but it is worth it! Flavours of each of those dishes are just incredibly amazing… I had a ‘weeping tiger ‘ beef salad and it was just right in flavours and size! I ordered tuna sashimi again those flavours and truffles … I also tried the other dishes and it was like even better then my order.. I would recommend for any occasion really a fantastic place and staff is very attentive!

This Thai restaurant is quite cozy near the busy street of Tottenham ct road. The staff were attentive and helpful. The pineapple rice is to die for. Great value for food, has generous serving as well.

Thank god my friend introduced me to this nook and so went there with my colleague for the 2nd time.

Dinned with some close friends here and it was just amazing the private room was where we dined and the service was spectacular. A broad range of dishes. I had the Vietnamese Goat Curry. Omg well this was crazy good. I think what was most impressive was the plating, ambience and the distinguished flavors. Keep it up. I will be back.

Had a great dinner experience here! Food and flavours were really good. The beef, pork belly, and seafood curry were delicious. Ambience was really nice too. We booked a table ahead of time.
Updated review Feb 2023

This was a place where I used to come every 3-6 months and carrying my friends here. This time we came we were completely disappointed.

The food became much worse, when we asked why the waiter told us that they changed the sauces… look at the pictures of my review before and after.

They did not have most of the things we wanted. Prawn and begs had little shrimps instead or half of the prawns in a nest of veggies. The mains had only 3 (!!!) pieces of prawns…

I asked to have no ice in the smoothie and the waitress told me that it would be less in portion - the way they try to save the money by adding the ice

Completely dissatisfied and disappointed. Not planning to come back. Such a shame this place has become much worse. I used to recommend this place a lot. Now regret.

Delicious place with a huge variety of dishes of different Asian cuisines for an amazing price! Sadly they removed the Japanese part and had yummy sushi

Dinner on a Friday night, went in around 6pm, not very busy. Waitresses are friendly, polite and smiley, lovely people but not very professional, my husband had Pad Thai, he said the pork is chewy, noodles are ok, not the best pad Thai he have ever had but not the worst either, just average. I had Tom Yum noodles soup with Seafood, it’s fresh and tasty, it had a flavour of tomatoes, when I ordered I was worried it would be very spicy, so I told them to make it mild, and it ended up not spicy at all, tasted like clear tomatoes soup but still nice. I like the seafood and the starters, especially the fried prawns and spring rolls.
It was our 2nd visit, and it was still the same warmth by the staff. Despite being a late entry to the restaurant, the chef made a special chicken starter for us, fingerlicking delicious. The Malaysian chicken curry was full of flavours. And the Thai chilli prawns were amazing with jasmine rice

UPDATE:
Unfortunately this restaurant is doing something dishonest with their bills.
Last time I went there with a bigger group of people, they not only add some drinks and food we didn't order( they took them off after complaining) also the total amount was wrong. The bill amount was higher than the amount of of items on the bill when you ad them one by one. I only noticed that at home.
The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth! I doubt I will be coming back or recommending this place to my friends and family.
Such a shame because I really liked that place!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is absolutely delicious! We had red, green and panang curry... and some other delicious food. WOW! It was one of the best Thai curries I had in London and believe me I am not exaggerating; it tastes so authentic and aromatic.
The service was also very good. The lady who was serving us was so helpful and very polite.
Prices are reasonable and affordable.
I'll definitely be back there for more of their delicious food.
Great bottomless brunch myself and 3 friends came about 12:30 and had reserved online but we were greeted and seated quickly and the food started coming out and the alcohol was flowing! Another point to note if you don’t drink like myself they offer the menu of mock tails in lieu of the alcoholic beverages! Was a great little venue tucked down Inverness street.
Dinner at Taipan Alley, Camden on 28/7/2023- Friday. The satay was most appetising, delish, tender and well- flavoured. Curry Laksa was top-notch and my husband enjoyed the Curry Mutton and roti canai. Thanks so much to the servers for their warm, friendly, attentive services Will definitely cone back. Well Done.Highly recommended⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Come here for a bite to eat for lunch. Place is lovely and love the blossom tree in the middle of the restaurant. Staff are friendly. Food tasted amazing and fresh. Toilets located in basement. Didn't happen to see a disabled toilet there so best to check when booking as the steps are very steep. Price is reasonable specially as they have a set lunch menu. We had chicken pad thai and sweet and sour chicken with rice and spring rolls for starters. Would definitely recommend a visit.
