First time patron, and we drove out of our way to give it a try. We ordered the green curry, spicy noodles, and some appetizers. The customer service was great when picking up our order. The food was soon good. We will be back!!
Food is decent but the portion sizes offer very little value for money. A curry dish costing $14-$15 comes in a 16 oz container, and the rice comes in an 8 oz container. We ended up spending more than $65 ordering food for 4 people - yet the food was barely enough for 2 people. The food was also prepared late despite the fact that we had called well ahead in time (more than 1 hour) to order the food. Unless you want to spend more than $20-$22 per person, I would not go here.
We have been regular customers for years and years. We have grown to become adventurous in trying dishes that we never have had before instead of our usual yellow curry or Tom Kah. We have yet to find a dish that was disappointing. The cooks here are amazing, food is always hot and so delicious, the portions are always perfect, Thai tea is wonderful and we are so impressed with the appetizers of wings, mango rangoons, and chicken lettuce wraps. The dessert is also so tasty and beautifully presented; Mango cake, and there is nowhere in Omaha who serves a dessert like it. We have ate at mostly every Thai restaurant in town here. This is our favorite place for Thai and we usually eat here 2-3 times per week. They are always accommodating to substitutions if possible. Extra veggies less rice etc. The server is always friendly and is very careful to make sure that she gives you her best attention to details to make sure your dinning experience is nothing less than fantastic. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable for enjoy your dinning experience. This place is a gem. A top #1 A+ restaurant for Thai in Omaha as well as some places we have a lot been to for Thai in Florida, Maine and other places. Thank you for your consistent hospitality and service that you have given us over the years. And thank you for such an awesome treat to get to experience your cooking and foods so often. Absolutely delicious food. I'm personally addicted to the curry. The owner is friendly and helpful. She cares about her customers having a great experience and is able to modify menu options to accommodate for food allergies.
My wife and I had dinner here on a whim and really enjoyed it. The food we had was really good. Pad Thai, spring rolls, and lettuce wraps were awesome. Her teriyaki chicken could have had a bit more flavor is the only reason I rated this 4*. Everything seemed to come from good quality ingredients.
Atmosphere was better than we expected and it was very clean and quaint inside. Loved how everything was plated. The employees were all extremely nice and gracious.
Overall, if you've got a craving for Thai food one night, this is a great place to get your fix. We'll definitely be back and I'm looking forward to trying their curry next time.

Best Thai restaurant in Omaha and Lincoln! We’ve been looking for a good thai restaurant for a couple of years and finally we found the one! Their Pad Thai is amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy. Absolutely recommend!
I have eaten at the Mai thai in aksarben village multiple times and loved my food. I went to this mai thai and did not have the same experience. I usually order the pho which I did again today and the server advised me that they were cooking their pho different now, he explained that it would have peanuts. I decided to try it anyways. It was really bad, they put all the dressing that you normally add yourself already in it they added peanuts and they added hoisin sauce before it even came to me. They did not put out sprouts jalapenos limes basil, like normal restaurants would. I don't think I'll go back to this location anymore. Also had the mango wontons and they were not too edible.
What a nice place to spend a lunch or dinner. The inside has been completely redone and is inviting and clean. I'm a fan of the pad thai!
Order the fried meatballs pretty sure there gizzards. Had pad say ewe the chicken was not cooked to order chicken was very dry but rest dish was ok. Had green curry it was very good.
Authentic Thai Food in downtown Omaha! I was craving Thai food and found Bangkok Kitchen on an internet search. I walked the one mile to eat here from my hotel, and it was worth it. They offer spice levels 1-10, and I enjoyed a 5 on both the Pad Se-ew and the Tom Kah Chicken Soup. The soup definitely had more heat than the noodles.
The seating area was empty as it was a Tuesday night, but there were two others at tables. The service was attentive and my water glass was always full. I enjoyed the food very much and will definitely be back when I am in Omaha.

It's under new ownership and it's greatly improved! Get yourself a Padthai, Chicken Satay, and Thai tea! You will not be disappointed!
So disgusting 🤢🤮 never again will trust Mai Thai Restaurant for my food…had my money back but I couldn’t undone the fact that I already had it in my system🤮🤢😭 thank God my kids had their food already and hadn’t had a taste of it. To anyone who cares to read reviews next time you eat there, please do yourself a favor to meticulously check your food cos there might be traces/body parts of COCKROACH in the food that you ordered. To the restaurant please be responsible in serving customers with clean/safe food. Great spot for some good food! Best crab rangoons I’veever had. Lightly fried and airy crunch to it. Must try! Pad Thai was delicious! Curry was decent, though I’ve had better. Chicken wings were fried perfectly!

My favorite Thai joint in Omaha. I love the yellow curry lunch special with tofu. It comes with a vegetable ball and a spring roll. Everything’s always SO good.

Highly recommend! My vegetable pad Thai was delicious. Everyone else's food (other customers) looked really good too! Lol. People were eating at tables and to go orders were leaving the whole time I was there. So you know the food is fresh when it's going out that quickly and it tasted great.
Seriously the best. Lite, fresh and delicious. Absolutely love their veggie & vegan options. All of their food is outstanding with sauces and noodles made in house, you just can’t beat it. The owners are so kind and hospitable. 10/10 will be back from Colorado to eat here again

The yellow curry was a thing of beauty, with fresh ingredients and full flavor. I asked for 5 out of 5 on the spicy scale, and got maybe a 3 at most. Next time, I'll ask for 10 out of 5 spice.

My mom was getting take out and was told it would be only 15 minute wait. After 32 minutes, she watched seven other people walk with food. A while later, she got her food and was told “sorry we got so many orders after you came” which doesn’t make sense if the order was put in prior to these others. I usually love their food so was disappointed to hear about this. Once I opened my drunken noodles, I was further disappointed to see only 3 pieces of chicken. I don’t know if they changed their portions, but their prices have surely gone up and do not relate to what I was given. This was one of my favorite Thai spots and am wondering if they have new ownership or something because today’s experience did not translate to what I’ve seen prior.
Had the fried rice, it tasted bland, felt like they forgot to add any salt & the chicken was rubbery and undercooked despite asking for it to be well done. I’ve had the Fried Rice at the NW Radial Hwy location for years and love it, not sure why the food here is so different. They did take 10% off the bill after we let them know.
This is my first experience with Thai food in Omaha. Don't be fooled by the outside. It was very tasty. The beef has a few gristle pieces but not a big deal to me. The service was friendly. The food was made fresh and delivered to our table piping hot. I will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu items.
Wow the food here was really delicious! The To yum soup probably had at least over 10 jumbo shrimp and tasted super yummy (spice level 3), drunken noodles were great tasting, and the clear noodle dish was amazing too ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Everything about this place is great. The noodles and sauces are made in-house from scratch. Fresh noodles puts these guys on another level. All of the dishes are fresh prepared. I've tried a lot of the menu and everything is delicious. I order spicy level on main dishes and it comes out perfect. The mango sticky rice for dessert is a must. The staff including the owner are very generous and friendly. This is my go to for Thai food in Omaha. Photos to come.
We haven't been there for a few years. Decided to try it out again. Seemed like they are under new ownership or management. Regardless, they have really stepped up their game since the last time in. I had the red curry. It was awesome. Wife had cashew chicken. The sauce was some kind of chili paste (no soy sauce either) . It was outstanding. Can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend!
We ordered takeout based on reviews and were not disappointed. This was the best Thai food I've had in a while. The Pad Thai was flavorful and everything, down to the steamed vegetables (which, let's face it, are usually a boring afterthought at these places) was delicious. Highly recommend.
Ordered takeout (delivery by Caviar) and it arrived hot, fresh and delicious! I ordered Pad See Ew with Shrimp and there’s a ton of shrimp! The broccoli is cooked perfectly. Super tasty and will definitely order again. Price is reasonable and food portions are generous. Thanks!
First time here and the food was amazing!! I got drunken noodles with chicken! Service was great as well!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend trying it!!
We have been coming here for over 20 years. Victor and his family made incredible food and you always felt special walking in. I was extremely sad to hear about him retiring, but was happy to hear that he trained the new owner on the original recipes.

I loved their food. We tried Thai Chicken Wings, Pad thai, and Tom Yum Soup. All were great.
I ordered a drunken noodles and a fried rice . Which is about 14 per entree. The portion so little that not even enough for a kid . When I called back to tell he just listened and said that’s how it is and cut the call . So rude customer behavior . Food is not so good too . So much oily. But later the manager called back to apologize and said the credit will be applied next time I visit .
I ordered Drunken Noodles, carryout it was fresh and had a delicious authentic taste. I will definitely return to try other dishes. I ordered right before close time and did not receive scraps or leftovers from the kitchen.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, and I was shocked that the place was so empty, but Bangkok Kitchen is a great place to get a taste of Thailand. The meal was absolutely delicious. We had the crab rangoons, chicken pad thai, and drunk en noodles. The food came out quick. The entire meal for two of us was just around $30.
We had Panang curry, masaman curry and drunken noodles. The seasonings were very nice. Each dish had it's distinct flavors. We got level 5\10 for heat and it was just to our liking. Enough heat without overwhelming the flavors.
The food is always delicious and the portions are huge! The GM is usually there cooking the food and the quality is always outstanding. One of my favorite places!

The food is great. This is one of three locations I believe they have across Omaha. Nice food across all locations. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to try some Thai food. They allow you to select how hot you want your spice which is nice for people who aren’t great with spicy food.
This is a husband and wife restaurant that puts love into their food. Everything is made from scratch and even the sauces. It’s the best beef drunken noodles around. My step daughter loved the yellow curry and we also love the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The pho is also amazing. They also hand make their Rangoon’s and our favorite is mango.
The owner and the hostess were wonderful! Great family restaurant. They checked on us throughout the meal. Food was flavorful and the spiciness was just what we asked for. Got quite a bit of food for the price. Will definitely be back!
Delicious..... A quaint little place, but the food was wonderful. I had the drunken noodles and a side of fried rice, and my wife got a shrimp and egg noodles dish, both were amazing. I got mine with medium spice and it was plenty spicy for me, and I typically like a bite of heat. The prices were reasonable ad well.

Its a pretty popular place known to many across omaha and is probably a second location with the Same name in omaha. My cashew chicken was overcooked so rating it average… but you should try before making a decision.
Love the green curry and papaya salad (Lao style). Ordered level 4 spicy and tasted mild. Next time I would try higher level. Pretty neat and tiny place. Real Thai food.
Perfect spot to grab authentic Thai food. The sum tom was terrific and super spicy. All the food we order were very flavorful. A bit pricey, but its worth a stop. We took a lime ride from double tree and took us 5 minutes.

The service is always friendly and welcoming. I feel like an honored guest every time. The egg rolls and pineapple fried rice are my favorites, boat noodle soup is a close second.

The noodle portions are quite small, you won’t get full after the noodle and a dessert.

Yesterday was my first time trying Salween Thai. I placed a to-go order over the phone at 11:10am, since their online ordering was not functioning, and I was told it'd be about 20 minutes for my food. The food was ready when they said it would be, and I was the only customer in the store at that time. I got the steamed dumplings and pad thai with chicken at spice level four. I was pleasantly surprised to receive 6 dumplings for my appetizer! As for the pad thai, their website advises that due to the nature of their food, drop down a spice level or so from what you're used to. I didn't do that & I don't regret it! The only note on that main dish is that the spice felt more forward than the peanut taste at times. However, I will be back and try dining in.
This place is a gem! Speedy service and delicious food. We had the Thai beef noodle soup, seafood curry noodles, and pad Thai. All entrees were expertly prepared and perfectly spiced. We will be back!
I have no words! This place is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I tried it for the first time today! I can’t believe we live right down the street and just discovered this gem. For an appetizer we ordered the chicken spring rolls with a side of chili sauce and the Thai peanut sauce.The spring rolls were so fresh and delicious. The Thai peanut sauce is to die for! SO good. The chili sauce was good as well but I personally preferred the Thai peanut sauce.
I got the Massaman curry + chicken + medium heat and my boyfriend had the pineapple fried rice + chicken. The massaman curry was everything I wanted and more. The flavors were out of this world! It was sweet with the perfect amount of spice . This might be my new favorite dish.

I feel this a little hidden gem❤️. Now you all know the secret. The main reason I marked it a for is the drinks aren’t unlimited, so I would recommend take away if you are wanting to drink soda or a tea a lot. The food comes in 1-10 heat levels. I did order a 4 & mine was not at all hot, my daughter ordered a 5 temp & it was just right. Everything we did order was VERY taste & I would totally recommend this taste place.
For me this Thai restaurant is currently the best in the town. Full of flavors, very authentic and tasteful. Pick up is one of the best I have seen, they come upto your car along with the device and one can just swipe their card from sitting in the car. I do feel the portions are less compared to other Thai places in the town and that needs to be improved. I am a big fan of their Fried rice (any type) and can't stay away from eating almost every week.
They moved!!! I previously posted closed! But they reopened at a much better location & very nice remodel! They are always accommodating for those who are gluten-free! I had the salmon fried rice(GF) 😋, others had the teriyaki beef & bameekung. Our appetizers were crab Rangoon(get 4) & lettuce wraps(GF). If you've enjoy this place at the old location it is even better now! Very clean & nice people! If you're questioning if you should try, You SHOULD!! 😁
We always pass by this place when we’re in the area. We decided to give it a try and we were NOT disappointed. The service was good, the food is awesome and the place is clean…downside was when the very loud friends of the bartender came in and ruined the experience. We hope the next we go there, “the friends” will not be there!
The staff I encountered were super friendly, food was ready for pick up right when I needed it and the noodles stayed hot the whole drive home. My appetizers were all delicious. I really wanted to try the green drink but they were sold out, maybe next time!

Let me tell you about these wings at Mai Thai...best wings I've had probably ever in my life! They are so crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the sauce is to die for. They made them extra wet, which I love the most. Pair those with a nice order of sticky rice and you have lunch. I tried the crispy duck dish this time for my entree ad it was delicious as well. It was so much food I had to take some home. My waitress was attentive and very nice. It was just an all around great experience. They now offer seafood and I will be back to give it a try and of course I'll let you all know how it went 😌
Mediocre vibe with supposedly live music performance, although it wasn't happening when we arrived. We ordered the spring rolls, beef Pho and beef Drunken noodle. Out of the 3, the spring roll, an appetizer, was the only menu that tasted decent. Pho was okay and drunken noodle was way too sweet and not spicy at all. I asked it to be redone but they just gave me spicy pepper powder. Most likely won't be going back.
The drunken noodles were amazing and price was great. The portions were very generous and the spice of 3 was perfect. Pair it with the gyoza and it was too much for my wife and I to finish. Definitely recommend this place.

It’s one of our favorite Thai restaurant. Service is fast, ambience is good and food is authentic and tasty. It’s near to our apartment m, so been there multiple times whenever we crave for Thai cuisine. In our recent visit to the place, we ordered Pad-Thai noodles, Drunken noodles in main course and Golden Buddha in appetizer. Food was delicious and satisfying. We love this place.
The flavors are spot on. Everything taste delicious... The beef salad is fantastic. Some of the flavor reminded us of our time in Thailand, some of the dishes are really traditional (the papaya salad for example).

Totally delicious as always! One of our favorite restaurants. Love the Tom Yum, the Rare Beef Pho and everything else we've ever ordered doesn't disappoint.

While this place has been decent before, we got take-out from there today. The food looked fine, however they have really fallen down on quality and taste. Meat and rice were mushy, vegetables were the only decent flavor. Basil leaves in the rice tasted like old fish. I have never had worse.
I was here for lunch along with some of my friends. The place is decent and so is the food. I ordered the mango fried rice with Tofu and its not great. My friends ordered cashewnut tofu but later found out that cashew nuts were missing. When asked about it they said nuts were there but we didn't find any. They screwed up my bill charging me for some other dish which is actually pricer than what I ate. The quantity of the food is very less and they don't serve anything along with the entree. Over all it's wasn't a great experience and I may not go back there again.
I was taken here by my Daughter that had eaten here before. The food was very good, and the value was spit on for everything but one appetizer we ordered. I would give the over all food 5 stars, but I must only give the over all experience only a 4 star. The server was very inattentive and almost acted like he didn't want to be there. I will go back another time and give them a second chance. At Over $20 a person, plus tip, I'd like to feel welcomed and be engaged a bit.
The food was awesome, so delicious. Priced reasonable, and served quickly. The owner/staff was also very friendly. Overall a strong 5 star. We started with the fresh spring rolls, some if the best I have ever had. We strongly recommend the Cashew Chicken, Pad Thai, and Pepper Steak.

Yummy, delicious, and reasonably priced! The waiter was polite, friendly, and quick. The sweet rice with ice cream was the strangest dessert, but I'm so enamored by it. Sweet, crunchy, cold, creamy and warm...Overall top notch place! Definitely worth a visit!
