Incredible food and reasonably priced - best Thai in Geelong, so much flavour in our dishes (Pad Thai & black bean beef). Can't recommend enough!
Thumbs up!
Craving for Thai food at Geelong!
Deciding and finally dinner at this delicious thai taste restro. 😊🥰

Thank you for thai style kind welcome ka 🙏😊
The food was good, the service too. I was sitting inside, but I guess the atmosphere is better outside. There were only two tables occupied (including mine ;-))
Service was good, albeit slow due to being busy..
Most items I ordered were really nice.

- prawn and veg curry, really good
- fried rice, great
- prawn crackers, great
- plain rice, cooked perfectly
- beef pad Thai, some great flavours however beef was super chewy
- ordered garlic naan - no garlic at all. That was disappointing.

Quite a long wait for takeaway.
Best Thai food in all of Geelong.
However, the booking process can't be trusted.
Booked for 2 Saturday night, but Craig didn't have our booking. See photo.
This won't stop us from going to this fantastic establishment. Love this restaurant.
This would have to be the best Thai food we have had. Also considering how busy it was, service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend. We will be back!!
We love this place! The food is so good. We visit about once a month for few years. Best Thai in Geelong! Thank you 😊❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Delivery took 75 mins for basic order. Food warm at best and all Courses almost unable to be consumed. Beef used in dishes smelt off, massaman curry dish and sauce was clearly packet , beef cubes were poor quality as tough. Chicken thighs used in other dishes. total cost in excess $80 for family.
Ordered pizza from Waurn ponds afterwards
We were on our way to the Great Ocean Rd Marathon event, it was a dark stormy Friday night. We needed somewhere close to the road for a quick dinner stop. We saw 9 Kings Thai Restaurant… we read the reviews… we had to stop…

And boy oh boy, did 9 Kings deliver…

I’m not sure what was better - the hospitality of the hosts, or the authenticity of the food.

We had Roti, and the peanut sauce hit so good. We had the Tom Yum soup, the sweet sour balance was to die for - and perfect heat for our palettes.

The red duck curry and the pad see ew came next with some coconut rice. We gave them a 9/10 and 8/10 respectively. They hit the spot. Generous serving sizes too - we had some to snack on the next day too.

Will definitely be back next time we pass through. Kudos be given to 9 Kings and the crew. Love the layout of the restaurant and plates were also beautiful.

Great food. Quality has always been well above anything else local. Green curry, flavour was exceptional and the stir-fry with oyster sauce was also very good.

Our favourite local. Always great food, one day I will eat the plate of curry puffs just for me! Lots of great choices for vegetarians. We go regularly and always so happy.
Had takeaway, food was very good!! Great, authentic flavour, good portion size. Food was ready quickly and staff were great.

The meals that we ordered had no spice whatsoever - despite asking for medium. The Pad Thai was just sweet noodles with a bit of chicken and spring onion and the fried barramundi (lard plaa) was tasteless with a salad of celery and spring onion - none of the Thai basil/coriander or mint in the menu. The spring rolls (entree) had no salad and were pretty tasteless. Really disappointing. I politely told the wait staff of our concerns and they quietly apologised but did not offer any refunds etc.

Best and most authentic Thai food that I have ever had in Geelong.
Closing on Sunday 3rd. March, for two weeks for holiday in Thailand.
The host explains most of the dining options and menu items before you order.
All dishes are mild unless you request hotter or cooler.
Generous sized servings.
Very reasonably priced: most mains are $22, or $24 for prawn dishes.
(Food corkage and additional drinks averaged $33 per head, but as it was our first visit we ordered one main per person.)
There were 8 of us dined and all agreed to return.
$2.50 p.p. corkage was reasonable, as we took our favourite wines. Soft drink and beers available.
The owner/chef (from Thailand) spoke to us, to get feedback about our experience: all positive.
Take-away containers were available to take home all left-overs, due to size of servings (they were just as delicious the next day, for lunch).
Free Parking is on street.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely a form 5 stars from me!

This food is perfectly cooked, hot and tasty. They absolutely DESTROY other restaurants we have been too in flavour, consistency and great service.

Customer Service A+

As some would say ‘do yourself a favour’ and ‘do try it’.

My partner has Thai relatives and has spent time in Thailand, and thinks very highly of the food at Malee Thai. Rich flavours that you can tell are cooked as a labour of love.

I’m really not sure about the lesser reviews on here. Either they don’t enjoy food as I do, or they are used to food that you stand at a counter for and receive in a paper bag. The food here is flawless.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to try their food.

The view is exceptional too! If you can’t do a sit down meal, pick up or delivery works too.

Just brilliant. Keep up the great work guys!
What an underrated place: high quality food, friendly staff and a great selection. I will come back 👍
I enjoyed very much the meal, and even learned a bit of Thai kings that this restaurant named after. The food was great. Recommend coconut rice going with green curry. The owner was very nice, always checked out if everything was right for us. Will be back.
Absolutely delicious food and a cosy atmosphere with fantastically amiable staff! Scarfed down the vegan sour and sweet fish (unpictured) have taken many take aways and dine in'd every now and then! Every non-vegan I've taken says they find it really realistic and yum!! Had a great time as I was with amazing company too <3
Portion is great, filled us both well! Will be back:)
Lovely menu nice friendly service and good was amazing 😍
Main attraction of Malee Thai is the al fresco dining on the balcony overlooking Highton Village. They do however need to give the wrought iron balustrades a sweep to get of the spider webs that were next to our table. Entree was an enjoyable roti, mains were beef with flat noodles & chicken green curry, both pretty good. They had however run out of a few things (sticky rice), but a generally good experience. Just give the spider webs a good sweeping.

Great atmosphere. Good customer service. Pad See Ew was flavoursome but slightly sweetish. Tom Yum soup was good but a little sour. Chilli and Basil Fried Rice was average- the rice was clumpy. Overall, it was a good dining experience and would be back to try other dishes.
Although the meal is delicious, the customer service could be better because we had to wait 40 minutes for it, and they are not at all friendly. Overall, I believe the restaurant has poor management.
My favourite Thai place in Australia I’ve ever been to!!
I definitely come back again😊
I heard they have lunch deal $14, so I’d like to try all of them😂
Particularly fond of the galangal chicken..yummm! Love having this restaurant nearby. All locals should really have a try. They also seem to do a raging takeaway business. People I know love the whole barramundi meal. Their mixed entrees are great, also.
