Top Wildlife refuges in Bronx, United States

It's definitely one of the most beautiful areas of the park. In the cold weather I've seen snowy owls visiting and once in the late spring I saw a bald eagle. If it's left undeveloped, the wildlife will come!

Glad there is a nature sanctuary in the area of NY and very glad it has been left alone as a refuge.

I don’t think the people leaving these reviews understand what a “wildlife SANCTUARY” is. It is to be preserved. It’s not supposed to be landscaped and modified.

I never knew this place was open to the public. It seem off limits and unkempt. I hope the city would put some money into it and make it a more suitable place to visit. It's a beautiful place but doesn't appear to be safe.

Beautiful

If you head down the path by the golf course you will be eaten alive by mosquitos! This path has not been tended to at all and there is sitting water everywhere! Highly recommend avoiding this especially in the summer!
