Beautiful! Little calves with their Mom's were resting close to the road. Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful, the garden paths were a blast for the two toddlers I nanny! Everything was well kept, and it was clean.
Cool trail. Couple bathroom stops though they are useful they look pretty silly.
Having a nature center that blocks the greenway from being near the creek is not a good use of land. Who wants to look at an ugly fence and a road after enjoying miles of water and actual wildlife. Also this section of trail is significantly warmer then the rest of the greenway due to being further from the water and trees that line the creek. Also no dogs allowed in the nature center which is fine but still reduces connectivity for many trail users.
Killing a little time before our house was ready to check into stopped here to look around. You do have to go down stairs or a paved path. Once you are down there you have a circular path to walk on. It goes around a lake. There are several spots to look over the lake the lake has turtles and ducks to watch. On the one side of the path are holes where the prairie dogs live. You can see them on guard or digging. It was a very nice park to walk around.
Love!! So much wildlife & such an amazing reserve
Great way to kill 90 min for a visitor from out of town! Most folks were zooming past me and missed several prarie dog towns along the way and a 10 point Mule deer buck (see pics).
Buffalo near fence. Nice almost 3 mile circle gravel trail on outskirts. Great for running.
This is an amazing place for sunsets and wildlife. You can see a large span of the Rockies from here. There's Bison, Prairie Dogs, Eagles, Deer, etc. Watch the sun set behind the mountain. Get a view of the city of Denver against the backdrop of the mountains.
Awesome place to visit!
Herds of deer and bison...excellent place to clear your mind. A must when in Denver!
I really enjoyed the wide open spaces and the many trails. Got to see the bison herd.
Neat hikes, lots of bunnies, pretty birds, great scenery. Right in the city, yet feels remote! There’s a beautiful river AND a lake. Great spot to explore!!
Nice to learn about history of the site. Saw buffalo, prairie dogs and mule deer

Very nice place and great place to walk around and take pics! There was no wildlife unfortunately when we went but but family still enjoyed ourselves and had a nice time!!
Great place for short walk, hike, or run. I enjoyed seeing the prairie dogs and bunnies on the trail. The lake was covered in algae which saddened me. Trail is gravel and ADA accessible with designated places for little ones to play. There is one portable toilet with limited water for hand washing on trail and 2 near parking lot. My recommendation to others is to wear a hat and sunscreen as it was still hot and dry at 5 pm. There are also picnic tables near the parking area and plenty of benches to stop and rest if needed.

Got to see bison and a ferret at the observation platform!
What an amazing place. So calming and peaceful. You'd never expect this in this location. We saw wildlife, water, forts made of sticks, forts made of tree stumps, forts made of trees, and so much more. It's places like this that show us that we can take care of nature. Be kind and respectful. Take garbage in take it back out. Take care of this beautiful place.
