Please do NOT listen to the positive reviews because they LIED!!! I’m from Philly and this food was super bland and not worth the price point with the exception of my chicken wing platter. The spare ribs were super tiny cut and had no flavor. My friend said his general tso chicken was also bland. His egg roll was poppin though. Rated G for Garbage…0/10 would not recommend…except the wings
I visited this place 4 times around lunchtime in the past 30 days. This has become my favorite chicken place in DC. Whenever I have a taste for hot (temperature wise), fresh, juicy and perfect size wings, I will come here.
Between 11am and 12:30pm has not had more than 14 customers dining in at the same time. It’s a peaceful lunch environment to eat and have conversations with whoever you’re with.
There has been only one employee working the bar, tables in the bar area and working as the host.
Sometimes it’s hard to get his/her attention.
You can seat your self, scan the barcode on the table and order online. If you have cash, you can place your order with the server.
I love both soy ginger chicken and Korean BBQ, so now I order half/half. Nothing special about the regular fries, twice they came harder and more brown but they come free with the wings during lunchtime, so I didn’t complain.

After an awesome baseball game, I decided to hit up Bonchon, just a 5-minute walk from the stadium--a super convenient spot for a quick bite. Even with the post-game crowd, I was surprised at how quickly we were seated and our order taken.

If i could no stars i would! Walked in today at 7:11pm for a 10piece grilled shrimp and got a fried 10 piece instead. When i told the cashier that’s not what i ordered he got upset and refused to service me anything further. When i asked for the manager he would not go get him. Save your money it’s not worth the rude customer service!
I'll make this quick - I've eaten here several times. The first time I got food poisoning, I chalked it up to a fluke. Perhaps there was a bad batch of chicken. 5 days ago, I got it again and the only thing I'd had to eat were the hushpuppies. While delicious, the pain and suffering inflicted upon my poor bowels would break even the hungriest soul. the property itself is small, cramped and dirty, and the expense of the wings plus a side makes no sense when you're forced to roll the dice on whether you'll be camping on the crapper for the next week or so. Word of advice friends, skip this place like a bad ex.

This place has the best wings in town no lie!! My favorite is the hot wings. The BBQ wings are good along with the honey lemon pepper. But Hot Wings on a Friday/Saturday night after a good time at the club this is the place to be. The shrimp basket is also a good item on the menu that taste absolutely fantastic. But this place is amazing, It may be crowded on Friday and Saturday depending on the hours but it’s worth the wait. Shoutout to the cook.
The plates are fairly large enough to share. Don't order an appetizer unless you are really hungry because your main dish comes out fast. Go during happy hour to get more for your money.
Best mumbo sauce I've ever had. Just remember to bring cash, they don't accept cards and their ATM with a $5 fee breaks all the time. There's a bodega down the street with a decent ATM if you need it
It was good pizza for the location. The small pizza is about 8 small slices.
Ordered pizza online. Delivery was reasonably quick. Pizza itself was subpar. Nothing overly great. If I am ordering a specialty pizza, out some toppings on it. Bare minimum doesn't constitute a special.
Scam. Don’t order from here. I ordered a small pizza under their ghost name (fresh haven pizza) via UberEats and they changed the size to increase the price by $12 and still sent a small pizza.
I graduated in 91 and moved just around the corner with my parents. This place had a 4 pattie hamburger back then and still til this day, I have never had a burger that was so dam good.
I have been googling the DC area for years, trying to remember this place and wished I could get another one of those burgers.

Nifty liquor shop adjacent corner joint serving their world famous Korean chix wings in varying degrees of soy, ginger, garlic spiciness. From drum sticks, wings, sliders, chicken katsu, this place has got the fried chix market cornered. If that wasn’t enough, they also have your fav Korean staples for those wanting something besides chix, which is probably the most amazing thing besides what they already have. This is a place where you come for real food, fun vibes and good times.
Whenever I come to DC I get food from here. The nostalgia of takes me back! If you walk in and that lady isn’t yelling at someone at the top of her lungs you’re at the wrong place! The food is also very good which is why I keep going back! Cash only but they do have an ATM.
Just ordered from this place for the first time. Whoever prepared my food, missed the notes and gave me what they wanted. Half the order was wrong. I asked for Mango Habanero and Lemon Pepper and received all lemon pepper. The lemon tastes like they dipped it in salt and vinegar. Very unappetizing. Will not be returning to this shh-hole!

This restaurant is has delicious food but the lady who takes orders and wears glasses is not so friendly I even ordered something simple and she was like that's all . I greeted her well she didn't even speak back I sat there ate my food then I told her thank you and she just looked at me crazy didn't speak at all. Overall the food is very delicious she just needs to have a better attitude
Stay away from this place. Horrible customer service and the food is some trash. They deserve no stars. I ordered egg roll, with the beef and broccoli. Egg roll was hard as a brick, and idk what kind of meat was with the broccoli. Disgusting. Never ever again. Not to mention the tea that I ordered, had a while gallon of sugar. Like everything was bad. They really don't care about service, and the quality of the food.
I would like to not even give them 1 star. I ordered 20 wings through doordash and i had put a special request to make 5 pieces cajun and the rest garlic parmesan. They made 5 pieces garlic parmesan and 15 cajun. I called them to adk about it and the person who picked yelled at me. He shouted and said that they dont split the flavors. Then how come i got it this way?

I recently had an amazing experience at Bonchon in Washington DC. I decided to start off with their onion rings, which were served hot and fresh and were absolutely delicious. I also ordered their spicy wings, and the waitress kindly informed me that they were indeed very spicy. Despite the heat, I thoroughly enjoyed the wings and found them to be incredibly flavorful. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Bonchon when I return to DC.
The food is actually very good. As a mom, I got busy around the house and went back to my 2 chicken tacos with rice and beans and even while it's cold it's delicious and I can't say that for every restaurant around here, even the ones that claim they're authentic Mexican, which i'm sure this isn't but it tastes better than 80% of the places in the area. Especially for the price. This was less than $10 and came with a can soda. So, if you want tasty food for a very reasonable price, then come here for sure. Lemon pepper wings are really good, too, with the Ken brand blue cheese! 😋
Chicken wings are pretty good. The Alfredo spaghetti didn’t come with meat which was a surprise. Overall, it’s an okay place for a quick bite.
Visiting from Texas and decided to order from this place because it was late and “Italian” food sounded good. Unfortunately I didn’t look at google reviews prior to ordering on UberEats. It was hands down the WORST food experience I’ve had on my 3 week vacation of “food adventures” while traveling to different states trying new restaurants. I’d have honestly rather eaten McDonald’s instead. Absolutely no flavor. We got 3 different dishes and all 3 were gross. We only received ONE set of silverware! The breadsticks were extremely dull. They tasted like they were old but reheated and moist, it’s hard to explain. I read another review that said it seems like these are freezer meals….I agree 100%!!! I wouldn’t EVER give this place another try again or recommend it to anyone. $50 down the drain… I sure hope people read these reviews before ordering in the future. No clue how this place is even in business still. Ugh 😩 12 states in 3 weeks and definitely the worst of all meals.
I didn’t necessarily have the highest hopes for the comedy show, but I went in with an open mind. Unfortunately it was back to back cringe worthy comedians with quite similar material that really wasn’t all that funny. Maybe that’s a bit harsh, there may have been 2-3 comedians that were pretty decent.

Please season the food. My wife and I ordered 4 different items off the menu that were all seasoned exactly the same and one of them was a cannoli. It tasted like a rich, white British family decided to open a restaurant for tax purposes and threw a dice on a map to decide the cuisine. Salt and pepper would be a good start. Overpriced "food lion" quality food. $60 for unseasoned bread and noodles to feed two people.
Every time I visit my hometown, I have to stop here and get chicken wings with mumbo sauce. It's a must!!!!

The bulgogi fries were crisp and crunchy, the meat was well stewed and there was plenty of sauce. Very satisfying. The korean tacos were very full and would've been enough on its own.

Well, this was definitely a weird experience. Felt more like a place where amateur and first-time comedians try their material for the first time. Only some of the several comedians in the line-up were funny, and I even considered leaving in the middle of the show.
The sound was bad, too, we couldn’t hear some of the jokes as the audio was muffled. Definitely not worth your money.

I ordered pork chops and an order of combo fried rice it’s bland doesn’t taste good at all! Now the pork chop is deep fried with too much planko I thought I’d break my teeth. I advise noone to eat here this location needs to be shut down
Traveling from out of town and ordered with Uber eats. Pasta was hot and absolutely delicious! The mozzarella sticks were nothing to be desired. But overall really good coming from a midwestern traveler!
THIS PLACE SUCKS. All the “comedians” need training on how to use a microphone and the sound tech needs some training as well.

The pizza was good, but my lasagna was bland. With a restaurant with Italian in the name, I expected it to be well seasoned. Instead, it appeared like it was frozen lasagna pieces, covered with sauce and cheese, and ran through the oven. I'll try their food again, I just hope the pasta will be fresh, add more sauce so it's not dry and has flavor...
Got some late night eats from here. I had a pizza on a gluten free crust (which was delicious) and my partner had a small pizza with broccoli on it. A lot of pizza spots have stopped having broccoli so this was a huge win.
The food from Italian Kitchen was largely underwhelming and disappointing. We paid over $100 for food (+delivery) and didn’t finish a majority of our meals leaving us very hungry and with a lighter wallet. The Alfredo sauce tasted a lot like roux and not Alfredo sauce, the garlic bread/breadsticks were over cooked, chewy & largely flavorless, and my kids (who absolutely love mozzarella sticks) couldn’t even finish them because of their taste. The only good meal we had was the cheese ravioli. Don’t waste your $$ (I wish I could get mine back) - find somewhere else to dine.
It’s funny going to the old Heaven and Hell dance spot for comedy these days! The place hasn’t changed — drinks are still terrible, it’s not the cleanest spot — but now they put up a stage and chairs for comedy. I went with an open mind but sorry to say these were not the best comics DC had to offer. I had a better time at a comedy pop-up at Origin Gallery on Mt. Pleasant street, walking distance from here. Giving 2 stars because it wasn’t horrible - we did laugh a little bit.
The Chinese food is spicy! For me, it just bordered too much, but I enjoyed it. My dining companion felt like it was too much. Sadly, this place is not in a lovely part of town. Get your food to go.
Nah I went today, around 8-9 Friday the 9th, I enjoyed the chicken breast I got, I enjoyed it, but the two chicken sandwiches were so bad, dry, tasteless, I want a refund man, but I walked back home and I just can’t walk well right now, if y’all want proof I didn’t even take two bites I can show you pictures for a refund

If I wasn’t too sick I would have returned every single item or called the cops! Please do not write an autopilot response. You want to fix this matter, refund me my pay for this “ Sicking” food!

Very good food. Doesn’t feel sloppy and dirty like most carry outs. the chicken wings are good size and taste great, probably the best I’ve had in the city, only kicker is the mumbo is not hittin. I will put up with it if I don’t feel like driving more down Georgia because the food is great. I come here from downtown silver spring for my Chinese. (Only like 10 mins) lol but much better than the spots my way
I did not have the same experience as some of the other reviews for this place. We ordered to dine in and they allowed us to sit inside while they prepared a catering order. The pizza and alfredo was amazing, and only a short bus ride away from downtown DC.
The food was really good. We went on a trivia night which was fun. You can order from your phone, but any tips left when you pay do not go to the waitress so be sure to tip them separately. There might be a little bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it.
The host of this show is… so gross. It was in a weird windowless loft area of the top of what seemed to be an apartment foyer. Camping chairs were set up for seating. The host was incredibly misogynistic and his jokes overall just made no sense and were uncomfortable. The whole crowd felt it. The other comedians were okay, some of them weren’t garnering many laughs and made some awkward silences with really misogynistic content. I won’t be back—there are so many legitimate comedy clubs in DC with comics who have content besides degrading women. Very bizarre experience overall.
Also this was advertised as a jazz comedy night, with jazz music prior to the show. By that they meant they played music from the 50s on a blue tooth speaker. So weird. And tix were $25 each. Support more respectful vendors.

The April 8th show was disappointing. The emcee was awful; nothing funny came out of his mouth. The microphone/sound was poor - at least check it out before the show starts. The music was so loud before the event started, that I couldn't talk to my wife. Maybe three of the eight comics were any good; it seemed like they grabbed one stoned guy off the street and let him try to talk for 5 minutes. The only good thing was the artwork surrounding the stage. We had two bottled beers and a piece of cake for $25. The bottled Corona with a lime was the best thing!
Couldn’t be more disappointed in my purchase. Bread sticks were the most plain I’ve tasted. Im pretty sure the mozzarella sauce is straight up salsa - at least it taste like salsa. Check your pizza box for mistakes. Never received my garlic sauce.
Everything about this place was horrible. First of all, it doesn’t matter what tickets you buy because you get the same seats. There is no “special gift” if you want to spend more money. Before the show, there is random music playing - they play like 2 minutes of the song and then change it. There were like 8 comedians that performed and only one of them were kind of funny. Great local talent. Intimate space. Wish they would update the seating chairs though; I was holding my breath as I sat on a chair with a shaky leg lol. We felt like I was gonna fall at any minute. The food is not good. The drinks are strong depending on who is pouring them. Just go for the jokes and get drinks downstairs and you’ll be fine.
Good wings and chicken tenders. Wish the fries were seasoned but they did offer salt and pepper packets. Wings were cooked well and the sauce was good. I had the hot lemon pepper. I would order that again and hope to try some of the other flavors. Staff was nice and food was hot and only a short wait. The menu is huge so you definitely have a variety of things to choose from.
This place has all my favorites menu. I love they’re food so much. Thanks to Americas Best Wingstop. Specially they are open late night. I Love it. Employee’s are very nice and friendly. I recommend everyone to try their food. You all will love it.
So I order from here already 4 times first time it was good. Second time they burn the pizza I didn’t want to complain on here so I called them and just tell them if they can please do not burn the pizza because it didn’t taste how usually test so I go head and order a 3 time and the pork or whatever is it they didn’t cook well so not to go long me and my wife had the worst pain in the belly and i look at the rest of the pizza and I found out they didn’t cook the pork well. And if u tell them to cook it well they burn the pizza not sure wit what intention they do but if they can’t cook a pizza please take it out of u menu. I don’t usually write this review but I gave them 4 chances and the last is the pic that u see but never ordering from u guys hope u guys had inspection because my box have black marks that were stink if u put u nose close to it. I would never try again from this place maybe others. Have different experience but I don’t appreciate you guys making my belly hurt for a uncook pork
Clean and mindful. It's a family affair, and they're very thoughtful about what they provide to customers. Not anything like a swanky chinese food restaurant, it's a true carryout, with just a few small cafeteria tables for those who might choose to sit and eat. But it's much cleaner and organized than many of your typical DC Chinese food carryout spots. The food is great too, even the American dishes like fried chicken and steak & cheese sandwiches. I definitely recommend.
