Excellent, gorgeous event space. So well-maintained, designed with a modern minimal feel but doesn’t feel sterile whatsoever. They go above and beyond to serve and create an atmosphere that is engaging. Discovered through our experience that it’s an amazing venue for live music.

I can't thank Mar enough for the wonderful experience! The venue space is stunning and catered to our every need. The preferred vendors were also amazing!

My cousin had her wedding at Chez and the vibe and style and overall aura of this venue was very beautiful and unique. The venue is very welcoming and the staff was amazing! Will definitely be returning soon!!

It's Chicago's hidden gem.

Hosting our wedding at Chez was such a pleasure! It's a blank canvas waiting for you to design your dream wedding! Our vision was to have a sleek, chic, classy, minimal wedding in the city and Chez was the perfect venue for that! We partnered also with Deborah and her team at Art of Imagination - and this was one of the key components to our whole day. The relationship between Maricar (Chez venue coordinator) and Deborah (Creative Director AOI) is top-notch and it makes the planning process pretty seamless 🙌

(I would also like to note that having the tables and chairs is such a bonus at a venue in Chicago. Not all venues offer this, and most of the time you are required to rent tables/chairs at an additional cost, but having it built-in to the package at Chez was such a selling point for us!)

Wedding rehearsal/ Wedding day: The days leading up to our wedding & our actual wedding day couldn't have been more perfect 🥰 Since there was no wedding at Chez the day before our wedding, Maricar allowed us host our rehearsal practice at the venue which was such a treat - because to our surprise, the team at Art of Imagination had already started setting up and decorating our venue so we got a small taste of our wedding vision coming to life! We had an excellent rehearsal and we were able to give our family and friends a tour and sneak-peek of the venue which made everything flow so nicely on the wedding day.

Our wedding day was a dream come true and we're very happy to have hosted our wedding at Chez! The building has such a cool history and our guests really enjoyed the space! The bridal suite upstairs was a perfect space for what we needed. My dress had some fitting issues and we were able to escape to this room and fix it privately without any of our guests knowing. It was also a great space for us to enjoy some apps and cocktails as newlyweds before joining our guests at the reception 💜.

Wedding planning: We had a few minor hiccups and miscommunications throughout our planning process but nothing that took away from our overall experience with Chez. We ended up choosing a a caterer that was not included on the 'preferred list' and we were charged a fee for not hiring a 'preferred vendor' from their list. However, Maricar was helpful and accommodating and she worked with us to reallocate those funds to other aspects of the wedding (decor etc.). Maricar arranged these details with Art of Imagination and we were satisfied with the outcome of the situation. Maricar was also very accommodating with our caterers request to bring in bar-top furniture a day prior to our wedding in order to avoid exorbitant rental fees (from the rental company) on a peak Saturday delivery day.

Overall - we would highly recommend Chez as a venue for any event, especially a wedding! Thanks for being a part of our special day!

Can someone please tell me why this place is still open ? They have crime at this place all the time . Past weekend there is a shooting at 10pm with kids fighting right in front . Don't rent this venue . Problems all the time .

The Wedding Venue was Luxurious and Elegantly Designed, but with that being said the waiters and waitresses were stealing the alcohol we provided and tried, stating that we didn’t have enough and was storing it in their back room until one of the groomsmen arrived and caught them.

Loft Lucia is an absolute pearl. It was literally love at first sight when we saw this venue! From the entrance to the end of the balcony, it was simply beautiful. Rebecca has been nothing but the sweetest. She was extremely helpful when we asked questions to her. We are very grateful to Loft Lucia for allowing us to have our Chicago spring wedding. It was a dream that I never want to wake up from 🤍

Loft Lucia was an absolute dream come true for our wedding on June 3, 2023! The venue is a gorgeous loft with exposed brick, large windows, and a beautiful rooftop space which is perfect for a ceremony. As soon as we toured, we fell in love with the space and knew it was perfect for our wedding. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with! We booked the space 1.5 years in advance and she graciously let us tour the space after we booked to show our parents when they were in town. During the final walkthrough, she expertly put together the seating chart and was so accommodating every step of the way. The list of preferred vendors made wedding planning so easy. We can't thank Loft Lucia enough for providing us with the most enchanting backdrop to celebrate our love! This venue seriously belongs on the cover of Brides magazine!

Loft Lucia made our Chicago wedding dreams come true. We hosted our wedding of 111 people on May 26, and have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. Rebecca was communicative throughout the planning process and shared great ideas to maximize our use of the space. Armando was fantastic “boots on the ground” day-of. As the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the big day. As an event planner myself, I appreciated the easy logistics of hosting ceremony/reception in the same place (plus having an outdoor ceremony in the middle of the city!), all furniture and gorgeous greenery/decor included in the venue fee, and the venue being situated in a great neighborhood (west loop) near hotels and restaurants/bars for out-of-towners. I truly can’t recommend Loft Lucia enough!

I've photographed multiple weddings at Loft Lucia over the years. It's a great venue with tons of natural light that fills the space. The patio upstairs can be used for ceremonies, but this can be tricky with the hot afternoon sun. Not so much an issue during cocktail hour/sunset. The staff has always been friendly and most helpful. One of my favorite places to photograph weddings in Chicago.

Loft Lucia is one of the most well-known wedding venues in Chicago for a reason! As a wedding photographer, getting the chance to photograph a wedding there was incredible. The owner, Rebecca, was super helpful when it came to answering not only my questions as another vendor, but our shared client's questions as well. They felt so taken care of by the staff and had the best night of their lives. The space is versatile, stunning, and comes with both indoor and outdoor space. It's also located in one of the coolest neighborhoods in the city. You cannot go wrong by trusting Rebecca + her team to help you put on the wedding of your dreams! :)

The wedding venue is a great for someone with a vision. It's like working with a blank art canvas ready to piece together a masterpiece. A lot of hotel options are conveniently around the venue for your guests and in a great location in the city as well.

My wife and I booked this venue back in 2020 with the hope of having our wedding event but as we all know the pandemic did not allow for this to happen right away. We were in contact with Maricar, the venue coordinator, and she was very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process.

Long story short, my wife and I finally had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding party with our family & friends this past weekend at Chez on September 24, 2022 and everything exceeded our expectations.

It has been a great pleasure working with Maricar and we are glad that we booked our wedding event at Chez!

There are not enough words to describe how great the staff at Loft Lucia was with us. The venue is gorgeous, staff members were very professional and so helpful during our entire process. We planned our wedding during the pandemic, what we thought would be such a hectic process turned out to be easier than expected. We emailed and staff members responded in a timely manner. I had no idea where to even begin when planning and they walked me through all the steps, recommended different vendors and were very helpful.

Fast forward to our wedding day - Sept 2021 and everything came together so perfectly. The staff members were super attentive, so kind and made sure that everything was in order from start to finish. Our wedding day was perfect in every way and this venue was beyond perfect for us. I 100% recommend this venue. 🤍 Thank you to all the staff members that went above and beyond for us and for keeping me calm and collected through this process. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

I photographed a wedding last weekend at Loft Lucia! It was my first time shooting at this venue! I am in LOVE with the space, the light and the staff. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Jason, was the event manager on site and made sure that the vendors were also taken care of.

As a photographer, I can't say enough good things about Loft Lucia! The space is very versatile and I love the flow from inside to outside. All of the windows provide such beautiful natural light and WOW when the sun sets...the light pours in!!! Here are a few photos to show off this stunning venue!!

I was there for my niece's wedding and everything was just beautiful

We celebrated a Sweet Sixteen for our daughter. Chez is a beautiful place with an elegant atmosphere, that wowed me, my family and most importantly our daughter. Mar (Venue Director) and Daniel (Planner) make a great team. They provided great food, service and a very attentive bar tending crew. Thank you Chez for a memorable night!

This is our third event at Chez Event Space and each and every year we are blown away by the staff's professionalism and attention to detail. The space is absolutely gorgeous, conveniently located and a blank canvass waiting to be transformed into whatever your hearts desire!
