It’s a great place to practice ice skating & ice hockey.

A two arena ice facility. Parking can be a bit pinched during dual events. They have a concession stand and a nice enclosed viewing area. There are also bleachers on both rinks. The blue rink is nicer than the red rink. The score boards could be replaced, particularly on the red rink. The numbers are difficult to see.

I gave admission to my daughter in Sam 1 and she was enjoying it very well but the problem is the instructor don’t pay any attention. They will club 10 kids in one class, out of 30 minutes they will waste 10 minutes in picking, dropping and settling the class. She literally couldn’t learn anything out of first session. She was not alone, almost 60-70% kids went home with zero gain.
I spoke to director Daniel and thoughts might be one session is not enough to learn basic like standing by self, I admitted her in again same Sam1. This time also no change 10 students 1 instructor, no attention, not trying to understand each kids their need and way to training. So i decided to talk again and this time I found another guy. He said he is general manager, very rude and an arrogant person. Daniel is a nice person but this guy very unprofessional and not fit for job. He was not interested at all in listening a single word. Just saying you not happy take your money and go away. Such a pathetic management and staff.

If you know ice skating, infrastructure is good to go and practice or to learn by themselves otherwise waste of time and money. Less instructor more crowd, may be because there are very less ice arena in this area.

It is a great please to practice ice skating, hockey or just skate for a great time with friends. All the staff are very friendly and highly trained.

We've had 2 birthdays now at Novi, and we'd do it every year if we could get away with iThe staff is incredible, were wonderful with the kids and us. Also the rental skates are really good quality(!!!). That alone makes such a huge difference in how much our guests enjoyed themselves. All the parents have a blast.

Only complaint is now all their kids want to start skating, and skating leads to hockey, and hockey leads to hockey bags, and hockey bags lead to hockey bag smell. Figure if you live in Michigan that's bound to happen anyways. At least here we have an awesome local rink.

First time at this rink and it's very nice. Takes a min or two to enter because of tracing info with covid, but not that bad unless there was a long line. The staff we talked with were very nice and explained restrictions with masks etc on the ice for the tournament. Hopefully next time we play all games here not kensington!

Love the Novi Ice Arena, great place for skating and drop in, always have had a good time at this place. Building is a bit secluded from the main roadway, so at first it’s a bit hard to find, but otherwise once there it’s a good facility, very well laid out and has a lot of activities being offered on a regular basis. They do a good job of maintaining the website as well, keeping people posted with what’s going on, which is great to see as this is not true of many other ice rinks in the area.
