My daughter Leah has been in this school for two years and she loves this school. She loves her teacher, Ms. Destiny Smith. I am very glad to have her with my daughter for two years.

For nearly three years, my daughter has thrived at Rise and Shine Preschool, and we couldn't be happier with her experience. She adores her teachers, often returning home to share new songs and teach us about her latest learnings. We're immensely thankful to Miss Destiny for her love, care, and nurturing, as well as to the rest of the exceptional staff at Rise and Shine Preschool. As she eagerly anticipates moving on to Pre-K with Miss Tamanda, we're confident she'll continue to flourish.

Coming up on almost 10 years as a Rise And Shine customer for our two sons and I couldn't be more positive about the experience. It's a family run business – Monica is a great leader, and her mother Maria is a constant and warm presence at the center.

Our last two teachers are Miss Tamanda and Miss Destiny -- They have both been exceptional teachers and examples to our youngest son. One of my Oldest son's former teachers Miss Jenni is now in a leadership role At the preschool, and she was an excellent teacher as well as an administrator.

Also have great additional staff like Miss Lauren and Miss Elena, who helped with both my oldest son and now my youngest. Too many others to mention – it's an overall great staff and I can't think of a better place to trust your children.

Our son joined the Goddard family around 18 months old after a fairly abysmal experience at another daycare. From day 1 we knew Goddard was different. They cultivate an amazingly warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment and culture. The teachers are all top notch, educated, and clearly care deeply about the children. The staff and director/owner are awesome and when you talk to them you’ll feel like you’ve known them for years. Just a great learning environment overall that also allows the kids to be kids and thrive in their own personality and identity. We love the school and more importantly our now 2+ year old toddler loves the school and is flourishing in every aspect. We highly recommend this school!

We love the Goddard School of Fairfax! The school admin/staff are extremely warm and welcoming! Any concerns we’ve had regarding our child, they’ve promptly addressed and worked as a team with us to resolve any issues. Our child has made so many bonds with the staff and students and the school. We know that our child is in a safe/secure environment where she is growing and learning!

Everything is amazing! Beyond the education (which is superior), the teachers, staff, and owners are all top notch! They are kind, knowledgeable and super friendly--always going above and beyond for the kids and parents. And most importantly, they personally know every student and treat them like their own.
My child is so excited for school every day and runs in with a big smile for all the teachers and students. My child's development has been extraordinary, from learning her first words to walking, eating solids, and making real friendships, I am in awe!
I looked at 8 schools before enrolling and as soon as I met Sanjeev and Afriyie I knew immediately this was the the right place and they continue to exceed my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a warm, nurturing, happy (and clean :) environment.

Wow what a program! Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. Ms. Renata has done an extraordinary job with making this program feel like home. The staff here are so warm and loving it made me want to go to the school myself! The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I’m very thankful to Renata and the whole team at Guidepost Montessori for such an awesome experience!

I can’t express to you the appreciation I have for this school! They take amazing care of our kids and our boys have never been more at ease or happier. We see progress in their development DAILY and the teachers communicate with us very well. The registration was easy and straightforward. The app with our kids provides us direct access to their teacher and the center director. The facility is clean and updated. I highly encourage you to come here. You won’t regret it.

I absolutely love the personalized attention each child and family receive! I am a stay at home mom currently and most days, my adult interaction is very limited. The Head of School, Ms. Renata, is fantastic. She always greets me with a smile and our little conversations while picking up my daughter really brightens my day. This goes for seeing the teachers in the morning as well! I am always greeted with a huge smile and truly feel like they really care for my daughter.

Now to the nitty gritty of Montessori - my daughter has truly learned so much in a short amount of time. At home, I don’t even have to ask her anymore to put away her plate! She immediately takes it to the sink and even will help her little sister. She truly embodies the Montessori vision of being independent AND sharing this gift with others. I’ll find her teaching her little sister how to do something, she sings the songs she’s learned in school, and at not even 4 yet, is starting to recognize letters, numbers, wants to write her name, colors within the lines, etc.

I love the interaction and the development of friendships my daughter is getting with her friends at school as well.

Job well done as well for staying on top of getting parents updated pictures and weekly newsletters.

I truly think the “small” feel of this location is a hidden gem. If you have any sort of problem, this can be immediately addressed and I really love that you interact with those in charge of this location. Although scheduling is the best way - I know Ms. Renata would drop whatever she is doing to assist families.

I would LOVE if this location would open it up for 2 year olds (I would 100% enroll my youngest as well, if I could).

You could not find a more loving and passionate school that embodies Montessori life for our littles.

We are very happy with our experience at Guidepost Montessori, Fairfax. The teachers and administration are all wonderful - they care deeply that all children are happy, learning, and getting what they need to thrive. They also teach kids that learning can be fun, how to independently explore, work within a group, and communicate respectfully to others.

The school has done a wonderful job of communicating the individual updates for each child, but also what's going on in the school, how to get involved, and what's coming up for the families and kids. The facility is on the smaller side, but it offers an intimate space for children to learn and grow in.

We've had nothing but positive feelings since joining the Guidepost family. We are so happy we found it!

We joined Goddard of Fairfax about 6 weeks ago. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the childcare. We have seen a noticeable positive difference in our daughter’s verbal, gross, and social-emotional skills in just a short of amount of time. The facility, teachers, and curriculum are wonderful. The teachers are caring and truly stick to the curriculum with engaging activities.

I would highly recommend this facility. I’m writing this review after 5 years of having my kids here. Leaving my 3 month old wasn't easy but the teachers here truly care. The director Mrs. Srijana is amazing! She knows how to run the facility smoothly and addresses all concerns. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else

The Goddard School in Fairfax has been such a gift to our family and the progress we have seen with our 4 year old has been amazing. We are grateful for the culture and community built around this school, especially with the opportunities provided for family involvement. 10 out of 10

Kindercare Fairfax deserves ALL the stars. We switched my four-year-old from a rather extreme play-based school to Kindercare in late summer. The switch has been a pretty big adjustment for us but the teachers in the pre-K room are so patient and communicative. Ms. Latavia, Ms. Raven, and Ms. Yuri are amazing and make me feel like my son is safe and cared for while with them. Even after more challenging days for him, my kiddo’s favorite part of his day is school. The director and assistant director are also amazing and just seem interested in you and your kid. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this school and the people in it 💜

Kindercare Lee Hwy is simply wonderful with great teachers and staff.My daughter learned so much during her time there. The facility is clean, welcoming and warm!

Our daughter was part of the infant program for about five months and we couldn't think more highly of the school and the program. The leadership team has been wonderful to work with, and our daughter's teachers have been so caring and great to her. Her lead teacher, Ms. Seble, runs a great classroom and is passionate about educating and caring for the children in her class. Our daughter had a huge smile on her face every day we dropped her off and she saw her teachers. Overall we had a great experience and will miss the team.

Such a great experience with our infant at this Fairfax! As first time parents the whole team made it so easy and assuring to leave her there in a bright, stimulating and warm classroom. The director and asst., & lead infant teacher, Ms. Seble have such big hearts for these kids. The frequent daily app & verbal updates, collaboration with our unique needs and constant engagement with all the kids is incredible. We're lucky to have found them!

We absolutely love Lee Highway KC. My daughter is so excited and happy to go to school. The staff are friendly and very communicative with center updates and also daily students updates. We moved and were happy to have a bit of a longer commute so she could stay with this location. It’s a safe and very well maintained facility which are very important for us. Couldn’t say enough positive about how great our experience and the staff are ❤️

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! My 20 month old son absolutely LOVES it and is so excited in the mornings to head out for the day. His teachers are so empathetic and loving. The owner, Sanjeev treats every kid like his own and it’s so refreshing to see how caring and inclusive the entire Goddard Fairfax staff are! HIGHLY recommend to all future parents who are looking for a warm, nurturing environment with the best of people - staff and the sweetest little humans included. Thank you for all that you’ve done to make our family feel welcomed!

We loved this KinderCare! Our 2yo son was here for about a year and a half and fell in love with his teachers, the staff, and his friends. He was engaged and learning all day and always had lots of time outside on the playground in good weather. He is a busy kid, and we’re grateful that the staff gave him plenty of attention. We’re only moving because of a military move but hope to be back.

For military families frustrated with the lack of availability or hours at the CDC’s, KinderCare qualifies for subsidies under ChildCareAware (MCCYN).

Enrolled our 4 month old at this Kindercare location and have been blown away by the level of care, attentiveness, and kindness. Srijana Khadka is the director and knows how to build a safe and structured environment for both the kids and parents. It's not easy being a new parent and sending your kid to spend the day with "strangers", but the staff at this Kindercare are the farthest thing from strangers. They always make us feel comforted and send us numerous updates throughout the day on how our little on is enjoying the day. Special shout out to Miss Ana who makes our little one feel special every time we drop them off!

In this area it seems to be so hard to find a daycare. Kindercare took us in and we were happy to have them. We needed a provider early on and our child was well cared for. They provided updates throughout the day which gave us peace of mind knowing that they were safe and healthy.

In particular we want to thank Mrs. Seble who is clearly an experienced caregiver, providing recommendations for bottle size increases and for when to start on solid foods, and Mrs. Selma, who was kind and loving as was evident by being the only other person other than us that our child would actively reach out to to be carried by.

We look forward to seeing what our child will learn with the next classroom, as the next teachers will no doubt be wonderful as well.

We have been at this KinderCare since October, and absolutely love it!!! The Infant Room teachers and the Directors are amazing - our son loves going to daycare because they make him feel taken care of. We trust them 100%! We would recommend this KinderCare to anyone!!

Lee Highway KinderCare was an excellent learning center for my children. Among other things:

1) Main teacher, Miss Gaby cared for my children and was welcoming everyday. She put a lot of effort in terms of activities and children health.

2) Support staff was well trained and cared for my children when necessary.

3) Management staff had a well established customer culture for my children and me as parent. Srijana and Samantha were always open and willing to listen me.

4) Many activities throughout the calendar such as Halloween and Christmas, as well as birthdays. Also, they offered once a year night out for parents so they have extended hours so parents can do something fun while kids are in a known location.

5) Their app is awesome as they post pictures everyday and report what the children did, ate and bathroom activity.

This location has great outdoor space and sort of vegetation. It was a great experience overall for my family. Thank you Srijana, Samantha, Miss Gaby and the rest of KinderCare family.

Can't say enough about Rise and Shine, Monica, and the teachers. My son was in Rise and Shine during the pandemic, and I was so sad to leave as we relocated to another city. They were professional and caring. Monica was great at communicating via email. They were faithful in using the Bright wheel app to update me on my child's activities. I had a ton of friends who went here and brought their children through. If you've had a bad experience, try it again! Their check in and check out system was great. I guess the down side might be that they don't provide food, but it's not too much of a barrier because the benefits outweigh that downside.

We recently enrolled our twins at The Goddard School of Fairfax. We kept them home for the first year and the idea of putting them in daycare was scary to us. They had been in the care of family since they were born. But my husband needed to return back to work full-time and now that they were mobile it was a lot for Grandma to take on full time. We did our research trying to find child care that we felt comfortable with. It was a hard road to navigate! Enter Sanjeev Patel and his School, The Goddard School of Fairfax. We met with him to tour the school and get all of our questions answered. He was very kind, warm and informative. He let us know that his son attended the infant class. That immediately put our minds at ease. As a father and owner, he was trusting of his staff to care for his child. Our decision was made easier because we loved how approachable Sanjeev, his wife Roshani and all the teachers were. We loved that the facility was brand new. And we loved the curriculum, it wasn't just a daycare, learning was at the center of it all. The first couple weeks were very hard for us as new parents dropping off our twins, but Sanjeev, his wife and all the staff made us feel comfortable and helped us ALL transition, they understood. We are very grateful for that. I told my cousin that lives in South Carolina about 'The Goddard School' and she recently enrolled her second born baby. She wished she would have done something like this for her first. She loves the facility she found down south.

My twins went here from 18 months to 5 yrs old. It is absolutely the best place in Fairfax to take your kids. The owner, Monica, is always on site and has a vested interest in quality and safety. You don't get that at franchise/corporate daycares, which you should avoid. My twins learned how to be sociable and behave well with others at Rise and Shine. We will be returning for summer camp. The staff and owner are extremely attentive, they suggested we should get help when one of our twins wasn't communicating as much. It turned out he needed ear surgery because he couldn't hear in one ear! The new building is clean and bright and I trust them with my kids. Just go to Fairfax City and check them out. It's absolutely worth the drive. There were two other daycares closer to me, but Rise and Shine was far superior.

CBA is so wonderful! My friends and I have had a great experience here. The staff is so attentive and kind, and Ms. Jenn and Ms. Sherry (Director and Assistant Director) always have a smile on their faces and are super responsive to questions. The facility is very clean and there’s a wide variety of activities scheduled for the children. The other day, my child even sat on a pony! They have themed days for the children and the children always greet staff with smiles and hugs whenever they come in the door. I trust CBA and know that my child is safe and well taken care of. I couldn’t be happier!

My son recently moved to this school from another pre-K and he has been settling well. The teachers are friendly and the facilities are top-class. The curriculum looks good and my son is enjoying the things he learns at school. I would love to see more interaction with parents, which will help the parents keep an update on their kids. Overall, a good school for the kids!

My little one has been going to Chesterbrook academy for 1 year. She has improved her skills incredibly. Friendly and professional directors and teachers. As a parent we are happy to be a Chesterbrook academy family member.

We've been at this Chesterbrook for three years, and have two kids enrolled. Our older kiddo is getting ready to start kindergarten, and we could not be happier with how ready she is. Her teachers are loving, caring, enthusiastic, and come up with activities and projects we could never imagine. Our youngest started here at just 12 weeks, and we've been just as happy. I would happily recommend this Chesterbrook location to any parent looking!

My toddler goes to Chesterbrook Academy and has enjoyed it very much. They not only provide fun activities but educate the little ones as well. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are excellent. I really can’t think of any criticisms. I highly recommend it.

No! No! No! strongly recommend Do Not go to this school. I send my kid to this school for a day.
She had an accident and no one explain to me what happened. IT WAS FIRST DAY OF HER SCHOOL!!!. Also Teacher was more interested where I coming from. Instead how was my kid in the school!
So next day I wasn't sure should I continue to send my kid to this school. Usually if the new student is not coming don't they call or ask?? They didn't do anything. They didn't call! They didn't ask anything!
So we called later and we would like to cancel we had deposit Issue too. Still working on it ( very hard to get back your money!!)Please look careful before you sign up this school

Love love love Chesterbrook! The teachers, principals and staff are excellent. My one year old daughter completely blossomed here. Special shoutout to some of my daughter's teachers, Ms. Deega and Ms. Arley. My daughter was obsessed with them, and they treated her with such kindness! Dropping off my daughter was not a sad experience, because I truly knew that her teachers loved her like their own daughter!! We were so sad to leave Chesterbrook when we moved to Virginia Beach. They have some really special people there!!!

My infant has been enrolled at the Lee Highway KinderCare Center for a short time in comparison to other posts, however, during the time we’ve had her there I’ve been ecstatic with the experience. The teachers and caregivers are exceptional! They post pictures and videos on the KinderCare app daily and it’s so much fun to see! They are doing so much more for my baby’s development than I could ever think of! I’m in awe of their expertise, and I’m learning a ton just by seeing how they keep her happy and engaged. The director and assistant director are amazing; extremely parent-friendly, and very active in her care, as well as in communication with us, which I am very appreciative of. I’m extremely happy to have my baby in the hands of the professionals at the Lee Highway KinderCare Center!

I LOVE the Fairfax Kindercare!! I started care for my 3 sons July 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic. They are very thorough and meticulous in their safety procedures and policy that it gives me peace of mind when I drop off my children there. My boys LOVE the facility and their teachers! There is also a great line of communication between me the Director/Assistant Director and the teachers. They do a great job keeping me informed on my children's activities. Also it is great that i can communicate my expectations for my school age son for that day. The best part is that I get daily photos throughout the day of my children and a report of the activities they are doing. It certainly makes me feel good that my children are in GREAT hands!!

We have been going to KinderCare since my daughter (now 8) was 3 months old. We have enjoyed our experience there with the teachers and director, specifically Ms. Seble who is in the infant room. She was the person who I handed all 3 of children to when they were 3 months old and I returned to work. I can't imagine anyone taking better care of my kids...she is phenomenal. My children love her to this day and love to say hello and goodbye to her every time they come and go. This center is well organized and has great communication. I would recommend it!

We'd had both our children in Chesterbrook Academy for nearly a year now. The infant classroom teachers are kind, very knowledgeable, and quite communicative. We LOVE them. The toddler classroom teachers and beginner's teacher are wonderful! We would recommend this preschool to everyone. They have a wonderful curriculum, and our children are learning so much!

Cannot say enough about the wonderful teachers and staff at Rise and Shine. Our son attended here as soon as he was old enough (4 months) and the amazing teachers showed him so much love and care, and still do to this day. We are forever grateful to Rise and Shine for treating our son like their own. They care deeply about the kids and it shows. I would highly recommend this place to any and all parents.

We have been going to this KinderCare for two years. Our son is almost 3 years old and he loves going to school to see his friends and his two teachers, who he considers friends as well. Our daughter is 9-months and has been in the baby class for 4 months. We love her teachers, who genuinely care about taking care of her and helping her develop. All the teachers and the Center Director are extremely welcoming and make the place feel like a safe, happy community. We are very happy and confident dropping both our kids off at this KinderCare every day.

This is the best daycare in Fairfax by a long shot. My son has been at Rise and Shine just over 6 months. The teachers and caregivers at this school go above and beyond the call of duty. Miss Elena made sure my son hit all of his developmental milestones ahead of time. Miss Synthia also is amazing with the babies. My son is always ecstatic to see either of them. My wife and I are extremely confident that we have made the best possible choice for the care of our baby.

Shira and Erin have been phenomenal to us at all times. Their management style is very parents and kids oriented. Ms Sandra and Ms Alisson are the great teachers. We are happy graduates, thank you!

I grew up in this church. It is a great church for families. They have awesome children and youth programs, are accepting of everyone and the stained glass in the sanctuary is stunning.

My daughter has attended Truro for the past 2 years. She loves it! The school offers such a loving and enagging environment. The staff is incredibly dedicated to education, and sharing God's Word.

We came to TPK from overseas and are on our third year here, signing up this month for next year as well. Two of our children have been in their classes, and we have loved it! The quality of teachers is exceptional, their love and care, experience and understanding in teaching- not just in the growth and development parts, or the academic areas, but in the emotional and social needs and areas for a child is awesome! We have really enjoyed the faith and huge emphasis on each child being unique and special, loved by God. We chose to do the kindergarten as well, despite being in a amazing public elementary school area, just for one more year of TPK for our kids. It did not disappoint. Our child excelled and came in to first grade at a top elementary school academically ahead of many of his peers, with a ton of self confidence. I can't say enough good things about this preschool!

My son loved Rise and Shine. He was always well looked after, but more importantly, he always had a fantastic time. There was not a single day when I picked him up and he didn't have fun stories to tell.
The staff were very caring and his pre-K class was doing a great job of preparing him for Kindergarten.
The only reason I'm rating 4 stars is because when I first enrolled my son I expressed my interest in bi-lingual education, and was told it would be implemented in the curriculum. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, and that was very important to me. Unfortunately, that never happened, maybe due to curriculum adjustments.
Overall, I would highly recommend Rise and Shine as a fun, nurturing and educational preschool.

My son never went to a preschool or daycare before this, and he loves coming in every day! The school has lots of opportunities for the children and I really feel my son has learned so much from coming here. MSCDC has more than adequately prepared my child for Kindergarten!
