I’m a student here and I love how they have great teachers that care about the subject they teach.

Brooksfield has been an amazing place for both of my kids. The teachers are wonderful, warm, and caring and have been great in helping my kids’ emotional growth as well as educational development. My son finished kindergarten here reading fluently and with a solid base in math and science as well. My kids adore their teachers and the staff are welcoming and helpful as well.

My daughter loves this school! She has been a student there for two years and we couldn’t be happier with the curriculum, the teachers, and the overall loving and welcoming environment provided at Brooksfield. I appreciate that they provide structure for her, as well as room to explore creatively and be a kid. It’s great to have a school like this in our community!

Lovely and heartful teachers....

it's a great school, but theres way to much homework and pressure!

My kids love the school, they learn lots of different topics, not just math and science. They enjoy going to school. When they are happy, i am happy. I have to admit that there are some operational challenges since school is new but they are constantly improving.

(Most) teachers are decent and know what they are doing. The administration in its first year was bad, but has improved this 2nd year. Basis organizes programs that are helpful for all of the students such as the peer tutoring program. They schedule tests in a way that you don't get more than two or three in a day. There is no drama. No one bullies each other and everyone gets along (for the high school at least). There are also no drug or alcohol problems in the school. They really do listen to the students and give the high schoolers much freedom (we can go off campus during lunch). Some may hate Basis and I understand why, but Basis is a school for those who want to succeed. ~student graduating in 2020.

Even though I'm a student, it's a pretty good school.

My friend Takumi Baohua goes here and likes this school ! I visit this school and school is lovely

This school does not follow the BASIS model and is nothing like the founding BASIS schools in Arizona. It caters to parent bullying and is emotionally destructive to young children.

Beautiful auditorium.

This is the hardest school Ever. You do homework everyday until 10:30 or usually 11. This school knows nothing other than academics. the playground is a concrete parking lot with one basketball hoop. their indoor basketball court is extremely small and the courts are made of rubber not wood! i do not get enough free time. because i am to busy for studying for multiple tests. Because 7th graders or even 6th graders and up have 9 subjects we have so many tests. There is also only one elective! this school does not have an orchestra or band. well actually it does but it counts as an after school activity! The teachers and academics are great, but other than studying there isn't really anything else.

This school made me regret everything. I would give it a zero if I could. I honestly hate this school more than everything. They give way too much Homework and introduce concepts that we shouldn't actually learn until highschool. I know that may seem like a good thing but if we change schools then we will be bored in actual highschool when we are supposed to learn. Not to mention it gets very irritating at a point having to take physics, chemistry, and bio.

Great school! My daughter loves to go to school. 😀

After having spent 4 years at a Bright Horizons, we were simply shocked and amazed at how caring, responsive, and loving a school could be. Our 3 year-old is thriving, and our 5 year-old attends the before and after care program and is bussed to/from public elementary school. The teachers are simply wonderful and make both our children feel special, especially our kindergartener who is excited to start and end his day at Brooksfield.

We have had a fabulous experience with BASIS Independent McLean. Our son couldn't be happier socially and is blossoming in an accelerated and supportive learning environment. The teachers are highly motivated, care deeply about his success and share an enthusiasm for learning that is infectious. The administration is the most professional team I've ever seen within an academic institution and has been extraordinarily responsive to our requests. We couldn't be more satisfied with our choice and look forward to watching our son develop in this unique program.

Brooksfield provides a nurturing, fun, positive environment for kids of all personalities. The teachers and staff make it a priority to know your child's strengths, developmental areas, quirks and passions -- and use those to help the child learn and grow academically and socially. We have been very happy with our son's terrific teaching team, as well as the teachers in the before/after care programs.

We had a great experience at Brooksfield. Our daughter liked the school from the first day. The teachers are warm and loving. We really liked the school's constant efforts to expose children to other countries, cultures and forms of art as well as their focus on healthy habits. The school also incorporates mindfulness to the daily routine, which was a plus for my daughter and the entire family.

This was an amazing experience for both my children. They learned so much and were ahead of the game when placed in their elementary school. They did not just advanced academically, but they learned social, environmental and life skills, as well. Brooksfield is a safe environment where the children are truly respected and nurtured and taught to do the same. The teachers and staff are happy and invested, which shows in the level of positive engagements they have with the student and their parents.

Children (especially at the preschool age 3-5) thrive in environments where they feel safe, nurtured and respected. That is what Brooksfield teachers know how to do, and do it really well. They get to know each child individually to build their trust and respect. They support them mentally and emotionally. They hold their hand (and give lots of hugs!) until they're ready to step out of their comfort zone so they can truly expand to grow emotionally and intellectually. Then they become your child biggest cheerleader. Brooksfield is where my daughter fell in love with learning. It is where she developed the skills to be confident and the excitement for new discoveries and adventures. We are very grateful to the teachers at Brooksfield for giving our daughter a great foundation as she begins her education journey.

The Langley School is an inclusive community of dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and joyful students who love learning and coming to school each day. Teachers guide students in playful explorations that lead to deep understandings and the discovery of new passions. Langley students have opportunities to get up close and personal with guest writers, artists, and performers. In addition to strong academics and wonderful resources, the school shows a "deep respect for childhood". Teachers attend to the social-emotional needs of each and every one of their students. Children are nurtured and guided as they maneuver childhood and are allowed to grow in this safest of learning environments.

Brooksfield has been an incredible experience for my son and for us as parents. His 3 years there have been filled with lifelong memories and friendships. He has thrived in the environment. The teachers are super kind and warm while also maintaining a very precise set of rules that the kids follow. We will certainly recommend Brooksfield to anyone looking for a Montessori experience that combines all the elements of Montessori with a family type of atmosphere.

I Live Langley!

This is our third year at Langley and we have 2 daughters. This school has exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. While we had initially chosen this school for the smaller class size, this school offers so much more than we ever had access to in FFX county public schools. The teachers, faculty and Head of School really are experts on child development for PK-8th grade, and truly partner with parents in giving their students the best academic and emotional support a child could need. These children are not only developing academically, they are receiving guidance on their behavior and social development as well. They really nurture the WHOLE child at this school, and our family has loved this experience.
