BE AWARE OF CAB CHEATER At Agra Station !!
Modus Operandi -
1)The agents will identify you and will create trust by saying that, you will be booking through the government operated prepaid cab and it's totally reliable and safe.
2) They will show you various iconic places to visit of total around 5-6 on the card while convincing you.
3) You would assume that the person convincing you is a driver himself but is an agent who will handover you to another Cab driver once you book the cab. The driver will create trust by by provided you instructions to be aware of thiefs , Do not take a guide as they are thugs and never buy things near Taj mahal. His instructions will create your confidence in him.
4) This is where the game starts .once you pay, he will slowly remind you that parking would be borne by you.
5) The driver will first halt half km near Taj Mahal and tell you that the cab is not allowed near Taj Mahal gate ( Which is not true) and handover you to a tuk tuk who would ask for Rs.150 for up down. He will tell you numerous stories on why only tuk tuk is allowed, slowly you starts realising the game plan. Meanwhile the cab driver will show you the white wall where he wiill park his vehicle but actually behind the white wall is a metro yard. The tuk tuk driver is in hands in gloves with the Cab driver
6) After watching Taj Mahal, he will take you to Red Fort and ask you to pay Rs.50 for parking. This is again an extra bug you have to borne.
7) While leaving Red fort the cab driver will take you to Meena Bazar, which is nothing but a shop which is of leather and other emporium, here again the shop keeper is part of the loot. The cab driver will convince you hard to only buy stuff from the same shop.
8) He will then inform you that there is only one place left for visit and also take you for lunch or snacks and later he will drop you at Agra Station.
9) You will be shocked to hear this and get into a verbal spat but of NO use. Against the promise of 5-6 iconic places you'd have only seen Taj Mahal and Red fort.
All this for Rs.1450 only watching Taj Mahal and Red fort which can be visiting with a regular rickshaw for much less amount, this is the entire network of people starting from Agent , Cab driver, Tul tuk driver, Parking attendant, Shop keepers to loot the public
