Excellent playground with a danish aesthetic. My sister says she liked the puppet theater with seating area and her four year old daughter says she liked the WHOLE playground. Both kids liked the monkey bars, rings and tire swings. Lots of nook and crannies so good for hide and seek.
Enjoyed stopping here on my one day visit to Seattle. To do: conservatory, climb the water tower for a 360 view, art museum, playground. Bathrooms available.
When I first came here for brunch I found it very middle of the road, but I was more impressed with dinner. Would be fun to go with a big group and try a bunch of dishes. For now I can recommend the watermelon salad, the Moussaka, and the veggie burger, which is made out of beets, mushrooms, and lentils.
The dahlia garden in full bloom never ceases to amaze. Thank you to the talented gardeners who work so hard to bring us the vibrant colors and varied shapes of this magnificent flower! I believe we can expect another show to peak this coming August/September.
I am lucky to get to see how the garden caretakers nurture their charges to a beautiful bloom over the course of the year, culminating in an explosion of color and aroma around June. Try sniffing the different varieties. They each have their own smell with some very subtle.
