Very good. Big place, glass & chrome style. Pleasant service from fairly short menu. Kebab, salads, grills. Very nice food. About £40 a head with modest drinks. Recommended.
Fine old building preserved during Bay renovation. Originally dock offices, now a part of next door Parliament and used for meetings, exhibitions and visitors. Well worth a look, although there was not much to see except the building itself. Free admission .
Old pub right by the beach. Free House, so a variety of beers different from the standard St Austell ales in this area. Nice interior, but in good weather everyone sits outdoors.
Fairly well hidden towards top of Gover Valley. Set among ruins of old clay works. About 3 acres of gardens, some woods also. Remnants of old leats and other works. Lovely gardens, ponds and house. Cream teas. There is some parking. Strongly recommended.
Nice little trip up and down GU canal including entering the Blisworth tunnel. Current virus restrictions make for a challenging visit, but staff cope well.
