This place has had incompetent receptionists for years. They sound half asleep most of the time and lack basic customer service skills. It's a nightmare trying to get an appointment. I finally managed to get a phone appointment after weeks of trying. I was told the GP would call me between 2-3pm, so I planned for my lunch break at this time. The GP calls me at 11am and I ended up missing his call because I was in a meeting. Thankfully I managed to get him to call me back or I would've had to start the process all over again. But it was still ridiculous that he called hours outside the expected call time.
I have to have my medication reviewed every 3 months. I have to go in for a face to face appointment for this, but it's so hard to get an appointment. I've ended up calling for weeks trying to get an appointment and my medication has run out. My GP keeps telling me to come in for a medication review but I don't understand why when I've been on this medication for over 2 years. So, now I'm at a point where my GP has only given me a month's worth of medication and told me I have to go in for a review. Dr Alia was much better, she'd give me 6 months' worth of medication which meant I had a higher chance of getting an appointment before my medication ran out!
