Unacceptable Behavior from Check-in Staff at Pearson Airport

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the unacceptable behavior of a check-in staff member at Pearson Airport, who was representing Etihad Airways. Her unprofessionalism and impatience not only tainted the reputation of Etihad Airways but also ruined my overall experience in Toronto, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

On 31 March, I arrived at Pearson Airport to check-in for my flight with Aeromexico. Unfortunately, due to a mistake made by one of the staff members, I was directed to the check-in counter for Etihad Airways. When the staff member at the Etihad Airways counter was unable to locate my flight information, I informed her that my flight was with Aeromexico, expecting her to understand the situation and guide me to the correct counter.

Instead, the staff member became irate and yelled at me for not knowing which airline I was flying with. She also slammed her mouse on the desk in a fit of rage, creating a loud noise and further escalating the situation. This was not only unprofessional but also completely uncalled for, given that the initial mistake was made by her colleague, and I had not been confrontational in any way.

This type of behavior is inexcusable and reflects poorly on both Etihad Airways and Pearson Airport. It is my belief that this staff member should face serious consequences for her actions, as they have damaged the reputation of the airline and the airport. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that no other passengers have to endure such an appalling experience.
