This is part of Epping Forest, usually known as Hollow Ponds. It's a great area for a stroll. Parking is a bit expensive (it used to be free) and required an app. There are no public toilets but you can use those in the Alfred Hitchcock pub. There are always lots of dogs. Sadly, the two cafes in Whipps Cross Road have changed hands and now focus on selling meals rather than snacks.
An open air car park close to Bishops Stortford shops. Moderate charges with half hour free. A bit awkward to find if you don't know the area.
This car park is in a real mess. How the city have the cheek to charge is beyond me!
