Wow, besides a number of nice riders on the train itself what a horrible experience with their employees.

-out 50 euros because their machine sold us passes for a zone we weren’t even in. Tried to get a refund. It was always “talk to someone else”. Zero accountability
-out 35 euros for a fine for not having a validated ticket. We paid, but 1 of our 3 tickets wasn’t validated when we took our stroller through. Apparently there’s some hustle where people don’t validate tickets and refund them, but see above refunds aren’t possible. We had the option of paying the fine or they’d call the police. We talked about discretion and compassion for visiting Canadians that don’t know about this get rich slow 5 euro hustle…they had none.
-and then someone misunderstood my request and overcharged us 5 euros. Receipt in hand, 30 seconds later, and no refund.

This is seriously a pathetic organization. To the people we interacted with: shame on you for your indifference and arrogance…you basically scammed a young family. To those in leadership positions: double shame on you: the policies you’ve set and your indifference for customer treatment run deep.

You all suck and we will never return to Paris.
