Kee Kelven

Penang Sentral is a large building that serves multiple public transport services in Penang, including the ferry, KTM train, and Rapid bus transit. Unfortunately, some areas were closed, possibly due to low customer traffic. Some parts of the building were dark, cold, and empty.

A typical old-school kopitiam with old style decorations, chairs and tables. I guess it was famous online as there were a lot of tourists visiting here.
However, i was not really impressed by the food quality…
Chicken rice tasted so so because the rice was a bit soggy and chicken meat was bland.
The laksa was terrible… Noodles were overcooked and too soft to eat. Barely tasted the asam laksa flavour from the soup.
Good thing was we could ordered food from the shop beside and opposite.

Really enjoyed the great food with big portions in the good place here. The staffs here were all really friendly to help us during the lunch and introduce us their menu.
Their braised pork rice was a must to order here. The braised pork on top of it was really good and braised until slightly sticky with the pork fat. The dumplings were really good as well as the fillings were really full with pork and prawn meat.

This Starbucks is just right beside the beach with a wonderful beach view. You can visit here for a coffee and relax after visiting the breach. It is a good place to have a rest with the air conditioning space after a hot beach walk.
Also, there are parking lots available in front of the Starbucks which is really convenient for us as it can be quite difficult to find a parking around this area.

This is a unique section in the Pavillion shopping mall with Japanese design and decorations. There are many Japanese stores and restaurants available here, like Daiso and Sushi Zenmai. Definitely a cosy place for window shopping.
