Situated in the B1 of the Lotte World Mall, this aquarium has an extensive array of fish, reptiles, and other marine animals. It was really busy when we visited but I think that’s normal because of the location it’s in (beside the amusement park and the tower). There are also many different exhibits for you to explore and I think the big draw is the beluga whale exhibit. They also have the standard floor to ceiling tanks full of sharks and rays and the underwater hallways. I also thought the lighting was brighter than other aquariums which made the whole place feel cheerier.
Great artwork and an excellent tour. Our guide spoke both Chinese and English and really held the students’ attention. She also gave detailed but brief introductions to the exhibits.
This place is very fun for kids and has a lot of activities to keep them busy for a whole morning. Each floor has its own exhibits and interactive activities for kids to participate in. Suitable for all ages but perhaps best for kids who are in their just years of elementary school due to the cognitive requirements of some of the practical activities which combine shape sorting with reading words to complete the assignment. However, even lacking those skills the kids can still have a lot of fun putting on costumes and taking part in what this museum has to offer.
Additionally, there is a tour guide for each area who will provide a complete tour of the exhibit and may host an activity in their area at the end.
This place definitely deserves a visit if you like post offices or are looking for a practical and educational day out. 😃
